- Hello everyone! Today's video will be about the Malaysian-spec 2016 BMW 318i four door saloon with the 1.5 litre B38B15 turbocharged petrol engine producing 134hp/136PS paired to an 8-speed automatic in the Luxury Line trim.
Below is the list of current 3-Series four door saloon variants available in Malaysia as of 16th May 2017. I arranged it from the cheapest to the most expensive.

amazing 318i with excellent performance
Ahmed im planning to buy 318i new model 2018 im just hesitated because of the 3 cylinder Motor . if u tested this car can you tell me is the motor is bad or good ? should i buy it or not ?
Ahmed Helmy when it's come with 3 Cylinders then u don't expect much on performance.. Audi 1.4 A3 it's better.. But, it's a good buy if u want a bigger size with this price tag.. X'MAS Special Deal is coming this week.. Do check it out.. Now it's selling for RM18XK.. (RRP is RM205,xxx)..

I am pretty sure it's not an M5, and if I recall correctly it's a 528i M Sport made to look like an M5.

eyesskaljack but this model 2017 year end sales with RM180K.. The 2 brands which u mentioned can't get with this price range..

How 2003 E46 318i has 143 bhp n/a and 2016 F30 318i has 134 bhp only + turbo? I don't know what was bmw thinking
What is the problem though? The F30 318i has better torque and fuel consumption.
alexlovesmac personally, i love the newer engine, the 3 cyl sounds much better than 4 cyl. But with that turbo, at least it should make more than 134 bhp. More than e46.
For example, the E46 320i has 168 bhp and F30 320i has 180 bhp. Then the 318i's should get the upgrade as well.
I think BMW x1 2017 is much better than this

Steven Mirek That's what I think, a 3-cylinder engine in a BMW 3 Series, I do not see it: /
The engine is actually lovely: smooth, free revving and sounds better than any 4 pot. It is just a bit overwhelmed in the 3. It is terrific in the Mini, 1 and 2 series. They should tune it up to the 180 bhp that rhe 1 Series test mule car had. Don't forget this engine is in the i8.
mattbod The 3 cylinder engine is a good engine making a good amount of power and torque for a 3 cylinder. This engine is great in a Mini Cooper or the smaller 1 series but in the larger and heavier 3 series, the 3 cylinder engine just isn't enough to be in a sports sedan which people assume is a pretty quick car.
