Hi Jason, thanks for the good review! I have a 318i f30 of 2016. It is is still a very enjoyable car to drive. However, since last year it often presents a problem with the motor. It revs really badly when idle and the drivetrain indicator on the dash board is on. When accelerating, it is some hesitation. I had the sparks and the coils changed and the problem was resolved for some days. Then I had the ignition wiring changed and the problem was resolved for 3 months. Now it is back again. the official service tells me they have excluded fuel injector damage or catalyst blocking. Any ideas?
If I decide to get the 2017 318i, M-sport, how do I know if it's engine is the N20engine series as you mentioned? Or the F30 comes with that N20 engine series?
dont think 318i got m-sport model bro..320i and 330i only. for f30 318i definitely not using n20 series engine..the pre facelift with n series engine dont have 318i but 316i.
One quick question for the car guys, why does it say on the sport displays that it has 120kw if the car has 100kw ? Is it like a BMW thing to show more or was it tuned?
If you don’t mind the older version of the 3 series the E60 is pretty good especially the cost of it right now. If want a bit modern then get the F30lci. Their much more reliable than the prefacelifted model
@@JasonTeow E60 is 5-series. E90 is 3-series. The one to get is the N52 straight 6 (323i 325i). Avoid the 2L NA. For F30, LCI B48 2L is the best. The 1.5L it is powerless and not that fuel efficient either
How's the maintenance for this car?
definitely my next car big change from my current 318i 2002 model e46

It’s just the model spec like for example Mercedes Benz Avantgarde and Mercedes AMG Line.
Jason, which second hand BMW is worth buying?

Is the 318 powerful enough compare to 320? Thanks for your info.
Seems that 320 is much better
