Hi Both, we just flew black on Friday after two great weeks in Florida.
Two food recommendations on the high end dining spectrum are Jiko at Animal Kingdom Lodge and Il Mulino at the Swan Resort. Both Amazing. Regards Lee .

Busch Gardens is well worth a visit and you are hardly touching Tampa. If you don’t want to drive there is a free shuttle bus. However great stop off on the way is Lakeland and the Antiques Mall loads of Disney memorabilia.

Watching on catch up , first time we ever visited Florida in 1999 ( august ) we had electrical storms every day at 16:30 awesome 👍🏻
Would be great if you did a wee walk about around Potterybarn, I think you would both enjoy it. You can have a wee look when you are in Mall at Millenia buying your Bath & Body Works bits lol. It’s downstairs near the entrance to Bloomingdale’s 😊 enjoy the rest of hols 😊

In 1999 we stayed in a villa with a pool and there was a lake 70:yards away with all the properties around it , we had a major thunderstorm and our kids ( including the sister in laws kids ) were in the pool , so I told them to get out , my three did but the niece and nephew didn’t, until a bolt of lightning hit the floor between the villa and the lake , and you have never seen two kids move so quick 😂😂😂😂😂😂
Many years ago we were in Disney on the 4th July which is my wife’s birthday and she wanted to queue to see Mickey and I think all of America did as well. David and Anne-Marie. Thank you
I know stuff has got more expensive, but in 2001 Disney ears were $18 a pair! And with a better exchange rate 🤦🏻♂️

In 2008 we waited by volcano golf as the wind had picked up and we expected a storm which duly came , so we went to the shops , and a local said we understood the local weather ( wind first followed by storm ) better than the people who lived there for years 🤣🤣🤣

Quick Questions:
1. How come you never go to Sea World or Busch Gardens?
2. Have you ever thought about staying in a hotel at the Airport the day before you fly, and do twilight check in?
3. When is the last time you stayed at a hotel in Florida, and would you stay in one?
We dont agree with sea world, busch is far away and tampa traffic is always bad..always done villas really or condos, we live in an apartment so like a big change! Pre-travel dsys seem pointless to us as we live in Tenerife so get to see family, stay at home for free and they live sn hour from the airport..also pre check in pointless for us as we usually travel hand luggage only

Do you not download the offline map for Google maps? We did it during our trip in March this year and worked perfectly. Didn’t need to turn 4G on when we were out and about👍🏼

So happy you are back again !! I think if you want to see a proper American 4 of July Celebration you should visit a small town like Winter Garden Florida . Come early though as it gets very busy !!!

I was there 4th July 1998 at Magic Kingdom, excellent day but wanted to leave the park before the last fireworks with my young daughter and was stuck there till past 1.00am! Whatever you do have a great one.

Buc-ee’s is not a restaurant it’s a huge Gas Station with food and shopping closest is over at Daytona. If you have never been to a Buc-ee’s it’s definitely worth experiencing.
We land on Tuesday and we are planning on doing Magic Kingdom on the 3rd and Epcot on the 4th. Hope to see you in one of the parks, although I'm expecting them to be rammed.
Have you been down to Florida for the Christmas holiday season? We will be going down from Canada. A nice break from the cold weather up here.
Old Town for 4th July. We did it at Halloween and the atmosphere was amazing! Be something different for you also.

We did Key West on July 4th, bit far to go though. Fireworks, street entertainers and fabulous atmosphere.
We spent our last evening in EPCOT one time and the heavens opened BIG time as we left the Land Pavilion to head over to the Frozen ride. We almost had to swim past Mexico 😂 !!

Best months to vist are probably the autum going into period- that way you avoid all the floridian storms and horrid humidity early to mid summer. Always enjoy the disney/ universal travels, have a great time 🎉

Going down to the Gulf coast it’s fabulous down there done all the parks so many time have a great time

Oft, stormy season is great over there, annoying for rides going down but you get to experience weather we don’t get
can you advise the best villas to look at staying in close to the parks with a pool etc for someone who does not drive

You need to try Maggianos on International Drive, brilliant for Gluten Free, can change any dish to suit as all made fresh, lovely atmosphere & not fancy at all, just turn up in what you've worn to the parks! Food amazing, good portions, always go a few times every trip! They cover your parking also. Hope you have a great trip!

Are you fully aware of all the work that SeaWorld does now for marine wildlife? Yes, they do have animals in 'captivity', however many are injured and would not survive in the wild....yet you are happy to visit Animal Kingdom, which displays caged & captured animals? Please can you explain/elaborate?

I can’t think of a couple more, fully aware ,of the many issues the world presents,there are other platforms better suited to that kind of debate,and I like many others, who subscribe to this channel,would happily back you on them ,there are many charities who need support,both animal and human,Disney,universal and many others support these charities ,with money that is spent in the theme parks,so yes we are aware !
Keeping huge intelligent sea mammals in what is essentially a TANK to “perform “ for human visitors is not something myself or our family could ever support !!! Their dorsal fun is bent over in captivity for a reason . They have little space to swim for their vast size.
