The difference between 100% pure synthetic & "full-synthetic" is as follows: "Full-synthetic" does NOT mean that it's 100% PURE synthetic. "100% synthetic motor oil truly is PURE synthetic, which AMSOIL synthetic lubricants are.* AMSOIL was the first synthetic motor oil introduced in 1972 & was the first & [then] the only approved synthetic motor oil for automotive use. (At that time none of the other oil companies had any form of synthetic or semi-synthetic automotive motor oil) AMSOIL was founded by Albert J. Amatuzio. AMSOIL lubricants are 100% PURE SYNTHETIC unless otherwise formulated. *One example is AMSOIL's "Z-ROD, which is not pure synthetic because it is specially formulated for flat-tappet & other engines requiring such formulation containing zinc, etc. As for filtration, AMSOIL's Oil Filters are 99% efficient at 20 microns & will trap contaminants/particles of smaller size than any other filters I know of. Better still, AMSOIL's BYPASS FILTRATION SYSTEMS are even more efficient, 98.7% at 2 microns & can conceivably trap even sub-micron particles, as well as soot & water. ⚠BYPASS filtration MUST be used in conjunction with full-flow filters. All these comparisons never put a ratings on product. But from this vid i take Castrol with titanium addative to be the best for turbocharged engins because of pressure and heat protection. Who drives 20k before an oil change anyway. Here in Australia we mostly change oil at 5k

I have 349,000 miles on my Odyssey, & still going strong with Mobil 1, & now extended life Mobil1! Gas Mileage is still running 21-22 mpg. After all those miles, & 21 years!!!
