If you own a truck trailer skidsteer and a forklift, you are in a league of people where there isnt a whole lot of marketplace competition. This allows you to purchase large industrial machines most cant touch. Then add in 3phase which scares most people and the fact that most men who can move 5000 pounds can also fix stuff. With that you can find deals on machines that would cost big money new

The biggest thing I've found, beyond getting parts, is actually being able to fix machines. You must be able to fix things or you'll end up with a shop/garage full of broken stuff that isn't worth much of anything except the scrapper or someone like this. Great video but don't give away to many of our secrets! My shop is full of this type of equipment 👍👍👍

Great piece of advice, I appreciate you sharing your experience. I'll put this knowledge to good use building out any shop in the future.

I have been living of flipping machines as a student for 2 years now and best bet is when you are in market for something to just search marketplace as much as possible. I bought 10 inch cast aluminium planer thicknesser machines for 20 to 200 quid which is a steal either way. I just got a Record 26 combination machine for £300 because of a faulty motor. I've seen industrial machines which sell for £1000 to £1500 for less than £300 so keep an eye out and always be ready to drive to buy it
