I mean the possibility of that happening are surprisingly high due to Godzilla have been shown to reproduce asexually in the past before for having Godzilla Jr really isn't too far off as it seems
@seekgaming303 Well, it's nice to see that there is someone out there who has the same thinking as I do, that Godzilla is asexual and can reproduce himself. Godzilla is a mutated lizard and some lizards are capable of this, nature always finds away.
@@seekgaming303 Not really, as Godzilla Jr has always been adopted. The only time he was capable of asexual reproduction is in the 98 movie, and Toho never liked the idea of him reproducing asexually unless it was a piece of cell of his creating a clone of him, like the idea for Shin Godzilla and Godzilla Earth with Filius. Other than that, Godzilla is not an asexual creature, only capable of adopting a son
Only if toho allows, which there is very small chances of them doing considering the fact that they forced legendary pictures to retcon the whole dagon and other gojis thing cause they wanted godzilla to be a one of a kinda monster.
I like the fact that they moved Godzilla away in this series from being an animal following instincts to him being a thinking, feeling and nostalgic being
I don't think he was ever an animal following instincts. In the first and second movie they say he's the protector of the natural order. He keeps the other titans in check, and when if it comes to it, he'll keep us in check too. Though they definitely had made more effort to show more emotion and whatnot with the later movies, I agree on that.
I kinda feel bad for Godzilla, he lost his followers, his species, and now his lair. And yet he still stands as the king of the monsters. Edit: Mother, I’m famous.
I remember in an older movie, there was a girl with telepathy. she could read minds. one day, she decided to test her powers on Godzilla. she entered his head, but he was fully aware that his mind had been invaded. while in there, she saw that Godzilla suffers from loneliness. he has no one. Godzilla then pushed her out of his head, and she fell down unconscious. instead of killing her, Godzilla turned and left. It's theorized that they spoke to each other. this girl was the first human to ever communicate with Godzilla, but it's unknown what they said to each other. this might be why Godzilla did not kill her after pushing her out of his head. maybe she said something that kept him from killing her. I would actually love to see something like this again in a future movie. see the inside of Godzilla's mind and even see his backstory.
Well, he won't have to worry too much. Because Toho told Legendary there IS no Godzilla species, and to stop thinking of Godzilla as a member of a species. He's Godzilla. 1 of 1. So there's no Godzilla species.
Personally I'd rather have Gz sacrifice his life to save a small commune of descendants of his worshippers who are protecting a bunch of eggs of his species
But that means he'll probably die, as Toho Godzilla died when he had a son, in the Heisei era. Which would be really sad, but heartwarming that he finally has a kid.
While he lost his old home and his followers, the colosseum is the perfect bed for Godzilla and he made allies which includes Mothra and Kong along the way.
I haven't read any novels, but when I saw the movie I definitely got the impression that Godzilla was a giant, scaly cat. The Colosseum is also perfectly sized for Godzilla, so why wouldn't he chose it for a nest?
The Colosseum is big enough to fit the alpha king of the monsters; it looks kind of like a huge dog/cat bed for him. 😁🥹🥰 It’s pretty sad that he lost his home lair because it reminds him of his followers who worship him as a God who will protect them.
I’d prefer if Godzilla slept in his new lair from Dominion. Not because I think him sleeping in the colosseum looks stupid or anything, (I actually think it’s adorable) but because I’d have him look upon the cave drawings in that lair. We can see him ponder about the time he and his kind were worshipped by humans. It would add a lot to Godzilla’s character in this movie which I think would strengthen his role in the film more.
Godzilla sleep there because it reminds him of his old home which used to be inside the Earth where in ancient people used to worship him like God. But later people forgot about it. It is sad and touching to see Godzilla missing his old home.
He's got Mothera again. And maybe a new ally with Shimu. And Kong when Kong's not having a brain fart. And perhaps the other Kongs as potential allies now that Skar King is dead... And much of humanity, now that people are realizing that he's the one stopping the more malicious Titans, and that he can in fact be seen as peaceful when at rest. And now knows for sure that hollow earth humans still exist, so his history isn't fully lost. And now he's got a new lair. If he didn't feel that the humans in the area were trustworthy, he'd just blast them all before going to take a nap. But he doesn't do that. So, perhaps he's gained more of a sense of security with humans being around, so long as they aren't attacking. Remants of us trying to help stop Ghidorah. We may not be friends, but his enemies are also our enemies, so we've at least got a fragile alliance now and them.
I hope in the next movie we get a flash back were we see a younger Godzilla around his followers or his kind or worshipers it will nuke the internet if that happens. Also remember they guy said that there pushing for an emotional moment like the last heisei Godzilla movie if they focus on godzillas past it will br a good opportunity for that moment he wanted to have.
They should make a full CGI movie, like done with the RE stuff, a prequel, being part of the marketing for the next movie. No talking, only Kaijus, like "Walking with Dinosaurs", presenting the rise & fall of the old world. Maybe showing how the Hollow Earth came to be, hinting the new big threat.
I gotta say, just watched the movie this Saturday with my girl, and while I felt it moved a little too fast (my own problem with the monsterverse), the fight scenes were great, Kong, Suko, and the Skar King seemed so alive, they did great with it all. My biggest wish for this series now is to see Godzilla finally get a standalone movie once more, the last two have basically been double dip ice cream cones of Kong with a sprinkling of Godzilla
Goji has consistently shown not only his knowledge of humanity, but his tolerance of it; while some kaiju rampage and violently attack human cities, Goji only ever attacks other kaiju, and even when we used an oxygen-destroyer on him, didn't retaliate at all after we helped him against ghidora. Even when we made a mechagodzilla, he didn't go about wiping out cities in rage. He's seen our creations, and actively ignores them for the most part. Even when we made a massive base in the middle of his territory, that pacific, specifically to keep an eye on him, he walks right up to it, makes a threat display, and then turns around, as if to say "don't get any funny ideas, humies." He's multiple times walked right up to a human, or coincidentally been near one, looked them dead in the eyes, and moved on, whereas all other kaiju species(aside from kong), even ones significantly larger who humans pose no threat nor even significant food to, have actively killed humans whenever they see them.
Yeah it is said in the novelization of the new empire that Godzilla uses the colosseum to rest cause it reminds him of his old lair quite sad if you think about it.
Poor Godzilla a King who has to constantly maintain the balance because unruly titans can't just stay at ease and he can't ignore that, makes sense why Godzilla can be angry. I'm looking forward to know more about the Godzilla lore and if there is more of his species hidden in the Hollow Earth.
Took a while, but I'm over him killing Tiamat and Scylla now. I've grown to love this Godzilla, and that he has enough regard for mankind's designs, says a lot about him. But honestly, I'm afraid for him now...he might face Space Godzilla, and worse, Destoroyah.. I hope the upcoming movies aren't a harbinger for his death, as he is at his peak.
Kong: The New Empire was a good movie, but there just wasn't enough of the other guy to feature him in the title. Who was that again? Gary Zola? Dunno, he wasn't important to the plot. Seriously though, the scene's where he was sleeping there, and then went BACK just tickled me in the right way. My Dad has a cat named Hugs (he rubs his face against yours when you pick him up), and I've always said Godzilla's face looks just like him. His face is somewhere between Old School, and Legendary, with the same color scheme to his fur. So I love the cat reference^^

You making these videos is really appreciated as I don't have the time/money to get the novelization. Plus, you do an amazing job of telling the story.
Cuz it reminds him of his home they blew up in KotM. He did eventually find a new home in one of the graphic novels. But Legendary only acknowledges those when they want to lol
I say we build him one; he and Kong Are the least violent titans against humans by FAR, he's proven to have been capable of cohabitation with humans in past via the ancient city, and it's always good to get in good graces with The King.
DangerVille legendary Godzilla already had a home he reclaimed it from Tiamat who killed the rival kong who kicked him out of it I hope that is not forgotten
Yeah but he obviously liked his home in KOTM better before it was destroyed. He sleeps in the colosseum because the design reminds him of his old home in the temple.
i feel like the entirety of gvk godzilla was just pissed off that humans were making his rival again, his wife died, AND he his house was destroyed. He literally took all that anger out on poor Kong and Scylla 😭
I don't think it ever said that. Actually I'm pretty sure it said the opposite. Illene said that Godzilla looked worried in their encounter on the cave painting. His atomic breath also seemed to do little.
When I discovered why he chose the Colosseum as a resting place I felt really bad. His nice ass temple and stuff got annihilated and it wasn't even his choice
oh no. remember in the old films when anguirus was like godzillas lil buddy?? what if they were also buddies in this universe. cant imagine young goji seeing dead anguirus
godzilla literally live for possibly a million years old, him being this rough just makes sense since he have went through a lot while standing up for the world that destroys him
I loved this little tidbit here in the movie, because it gives some sentimentality to the G-man and lets us see he just wants to be worshipped like before.
Hey man, I would love to see more videos on Skar King’s lore, because it still echoes with mystery. There’s still so many questions about him and his character. Questions such like: How old is he? Is he really tens of thousands of years old? If so how did he live so long despite the ape titans having shorter lifespans than most other titans? Why do his eyes glow blue? Is it the result of his incredible old age and the majority of his life spent in darkness? Or is it because he tapped into some sort of energy which also prolonged his life? What is he? Is he a type of kong subspecies that’s more lanky with orange fur? (I know Adam Wingard said Skar King’s fur is actually painted on and not actually red as a symbol to intimidate the other apes. But he also stated his fur is MOSTLY painted meaning his actual fur could still be more orange in coloration like Suko, who is possibly his son along with other orange furred infants we see.) And if he is a subspecies, why is he the only one of his kind in the tribe? Are the rest of his kind extinct? Is he an outcast? Is that why he is leading a group of apes who aren’t his own species? How and when did he take control of Shimo? And what was he trying to have her do in Rio? Was his objective to start another Ice Age? And if so how would that benefit him? Apes can’t survive in extreme cold so was his plan to start an Ice Age, retreat back to Hollow Earth, then later have Shimo undo it after most life on the surface had died? Or was he simply blocking out the sun because it hurts his eyes? There’s just a lot of questions surrounding his character that still haven’t been answered so I’d love to see more videos on him!
I know how it feels to be homesick, I've moved from home to home (I think you might know why) and the only thing that reminds me of home is just curling up in blankets in my bed, mainly because it was warm and always protected my and covered me away from the arguments in the outside world...
I really like how this detail in this very interesting Rome scene was actually because of Godzilla’s creator or director of the movie’s actual cat So yeah he’s a giant cat, I was just as shocked when I first realized But the G-Man has been thru a lot, he deserves a hug/ pat

His whole life I bet since he was born has been nothing but trial and rarely any happiness as its theorized the Muto's killed his parents when he was a hatchling way back when as small as a car.
I feel so bad for big G. Kong has a son his species and king. But big G is still the last of his kind and the only thing he has is mothra
Godzilla deserves its own solo movie focused on his own past and clan😊😊😊😊
I hope Godzilla Jr is introduced into the Monsterverse, Godzilla deserves a family just as much as Kong does
I mean the possibility of that happening are surprisingly high due to Godzilla have been shown to reproduce asexually in the past before for having Godzilla Jr really isn't too far off as it seems
Honestly rather not see that and him remain as being one of a kind.
Goji centre & Danger ville are best UA-cam channel for godzilla informations, but goji centre is best in my opinion
thats false but if thats your opinion then i respect it

@@ManSpider92 true
I kinda feel bad for Godzilla, he lost his followers, his species, and now his lair. And yet he still stands as the king of the monsters.
Edit: Mother, I’m famous.
Yeah, sad 😢
What is a king with out subjects?
AND his spotlight in his own franchise 😂
I hope the next monsterverse movie will have Godzilla Jr. in it, cause it be nice for the big G to not be the only one left anymore.
Personally I'd rather have Gz sacrifice his life to save a small commune of descendants of his worshippers who are protecting a bunch of eggs of his species
@@wintertrooper7918 ye but toho would not allow him to die
But that means he'll probably die, as Toho Godzilla died when he had a son, in the Heisei era. Which would be really sad, but heartwarming that he finally has a kid.
@@sijnkkkkkk8304and even if they did they will have to revive him using things like i dunno magic or something like that
While he lost his old home and his followers, the colosseum is the perfect bed for Godzilla and he made allies which includes Mothra and Kong along the way.
Adam Wingard DID base Godzilla sleeping in the Colosseum on his cat
@@benedicttan1854 Exactly, the sign of a great movie maker, I could almost read his mind in the movie.
A great retrospective look as to why Godzilla chose to sleep in the Roman coliseum.
Imagine waking up and having Godzilla as your neighbor 😂

Offer him a big water tower worth of coffee in the morning.
Jacob, I really respect your work as such a passionate advocate for Godzilla
Godzilla is an absolute unit, no reason to defend humanity but does so anyway even after they've attacked him multiple times
3:20 imagine a Godzilla solo prequel that shows the events that left him alone in the ancient city
Godzilla sleep there because it reminds him of his old home which used to be inside the Earth where in ancient people used to worship him like God. But later people forgot about it. It is sad and touching to see Godzilla missing his old home.
I get the feeling some Italian politician would be well served by commissioning a new lair a bit away from Rome.
Godzilla is aggressive at a particular time but he too shows emotions
Godzilla lost everything but i figured sooner or later will see more of Godzilla family
@@eldritchmorgasm4018 agreed
I gotta say, just watched the movie this Saturday with my girl, and while I felt it moved a little too fast (my own problem with the monsterverse), the fight scenes were great, Kong, Suko, and the Skar King seemed so alive, they did great with it all. My biggest wish for this series now is to see Godzilla finally get a standalone movie once more, the last two have basically been double dip ice cream cones of Kong with a sprinkling of Godzilla
Agreed
dont worry, it'll happen. the director said the next 1 will be more godzilla focused
ITS JUST SAD THAT KONG FINALLY FOUND HIS KIND. WHILE THE ONE WHO HELPED HIM WAS LAYING DOWN AT ROME ALONE.
I'm looking forward to know more about the Godzilla lore and if there is more of his species hidden in the Hollow Earth.
awww lizard kitty🥺😢😭😭😭😭😭😭😭😭😭😭😭😭😭😭😭😭
Took a while, but I'm over him killing Tiamat and Scylla now.
I've grown to love this Godzilla, and that he has enough regard for mankind's designs, says a lot about him.
But honestly, I'm afraid for him now...he might face Space Godzilla, and worse, Destoroyah..
I hope the upcoming movies aren't a harbinger for his death, as he is at his peak.
The Scylla kill was justified tho.
Answer: he's a cat
If it fits, it sits
Couldn't agree more.
And kong fans say Godzilla cant communicate with humans bro used to get worship like a God.
Thank you for this video 💗💗💗🙌🏿I really hope we get to see more of Godzillas story in the next few movies he’s misses his home seeing him laying and resting in the Roman Coliseum were some of my favorite scenes from the movie I keep telling people Big G has a heart and he can show emotion 💗💗💗💗💗💗💗

Godzilla sings "I Wanna Go Home" to himself after a long day.

Yes Godzilla needs to fight a threat from space like the ID aliens and have a junior version who he "mentors"
Definitely makes me want to visit the colosseum !
Godzilla lost his home, his followers, his special but hes didnt lose one thing his titles as king of the monsters.
By to way nice video
I say we build him one; he and Kong Are the least violent titans against humans by FAR, he's proven to have been capable of cohabitation with humans in past via the ancient city, and it's always good to get in good graces with The King.

DangerVille legendary Godzilla already had a home he reclaimed it from Tiamat who killed the rival kong who kicked him out of it I hope that is not forgotten

Have you ever wondered why tiamat is like manda
I thought that too.

that would also fix the fact that tiamat died in 2 seconds
Rather interesting to give character to a giant reptile that oddly enough shows deep emotion for what he's been through

Having a cat be inspiration for Godzilla's personality would explain a lot of his behavior and aggressiveness, especially when it comes to territory.
godzilla literally live for possibly a million years old, him being this rough just makes sense since he have went through a lot while standing up for the world that destroys him
I will never stop loving his current look.
This is Godzilla's world. We just live in it.
I loved this little tidbit here in the movie, because it gives some sentimentality to the G-man and lets us see he just wants to be worshipped like before.
I loved the fact that Godzilla used the Colosseum like a giant pet bed!
the part was hilarious
"this is my bed now... DO something about it i dare you"
I love the Godzilla videos! But I also love that you through a Harry Potter reference in. lol “mischief managed”
i like to think he could use the seats as a scratching post lol
Hey man, I would love to see more videos on Skar King’s lore, because it still echoes with mystery. There’s still so many questions about him and his character. Questions such like:
How old is he?
I am wanting a prequel story about the big guy and his old lair and when it was thriving and all that. Sounds awesome
