This is my entry for Score Relief 2021, a film scoring competition that is prepared and presented by TheCueTube and the Northern Film Orchestra.
I enjoyed the whole composition process and the inspiring animation very much.

Beautiful work
Thank you very much!
1:16 Is it me, or is it "Tristan" right there?
And if your answere is yes, was it intentual or just a coincidence?
Kind regards, R.
It's good to see you here again, I love your work and especially your composition "Immensity", it's kind of magical that teleports you to another world. Thanks and regards from Peru.
Thank you for the kind words!
Great work! It sounds beautiful!
Thank you for your kind words!
Very good Silfimur !! I leave everyone my "like" for the effort and time put into work. Good luck with your music! last week I made my entry, greetings from Argentina! Where are you from?
Thank you! I'm from Germany.
Lovely opening chord. Seems a weightier orchestra than the 27, to my ears. Nice dynamics.
Thank you for your nice feedback! Overall I used the 27-piece orchestra for my orchestration and my sounds. In fact, the strings are a bit heavier than they would be probably in a live recording. That depends a lot on the musicians.
@@jaschanakladal Maybe you were just better at applying effects/ mixing the sound, to give the impression of weight? Best wishes
Maybe ;)
@@jaschanakladal Which begs the question - how did you effect/ mix it?! 🧐
I played a lot with different cc's to achieve a most vital sound. First I do this with every single instrument performance. And after that I hear all instruments together and make adjustments.
But before all that I orchestrate carefully to make every color I want to hear to be present as possible and that all single part is written for the specific instrument in its best sounding range.
Does that answering your question? :)
