"i've given up judging people I don't agree with because I accept I don't know everything". I think this could be one of the most important things a human can learn?
It's a good lesson if applied correctly or else you'll end up with moral relativism. You don't know everything but that doesn't mean you don't know anything, right?
What about murder or rape tho? There are plenty of things people feel strongly about and can’t just be like “well u just feel differently, I don’t know everything”. And I’m not saying that invalidates the idea or what he’s saying, cause I agree with him, but it only applies to things that aren’t serious enough to matter like that. If there were no government or laws and there was a murderer in your neighborhood, shouldn’t you judge him or even take measures to stop him?

@@530Issa I'd argue that people who eat meat should hunt at least once in their lives. Having to see an animal die, then cut it open and pull its guts out, and then cook and eat it....takes it toll. Its not easy. I eat less meat because of it, and most others would too.
I dont hunt anymore but as a teen and young adult hunting season was about spending the best years of my life hanging with and learning from my dad. Miss that guy.
I think that's almost more of the point of hunting for alot of people is the bond you get with your old man and then what you pass to your son's or daughters.

depends on how it's done. those rare animals are specifically selected because they are unable to breed or known targets of poachers. The cost of the hunt is extravagant to the hunter and all meat is donated to the locals. The only think the hunter gets to have is the picture at the end of the hunt usually
If things cant be hunted(wether or not it has the numbers to make hunting it sustainable) then those animals have to depend on other people. And the tragedy of modernity is that savage, primal man cares more about nature than civilized man. The hunter you despise for glory seeking is now in some cases the only reason some animals stick around. We live in a secularized, utilitarian, and materialistic age. We choose starbucks coffee and warm showers over a better world in most of our choices in daily life.
Depends on the nature of the animal man, culling sick and elderly animals is good. Trophy hunters pay a hefty sum for tge privilege, the local government gets the cash the local population gets the food. Poachers killing elephants to cut their heads off so they can powder the ivory for chinese buisnessman ED medicine is another story.

This is how humans should interact when they disagree. That's what I love about Joe. He talks to all kinds of people and tries to get where they're coming from.
My best friend is vegan and she is really cool, doesn’t push her beliefs on others, she actually actively tried to get me to order a meal with chicken last time we went out, because she thought I was ordering a salad for her benefit. 😆 Not all vegans are like crazy church people trying to force their religion on you.
I had a normal conversation with one. She'd overheard me say I hadn't hunted deer in 6 years and asked me why? I told her my life had gotten extremely busy right after the last hunt and that my father(my hunting buddy) had a stroke shortly after and we'd both taken a deer that year and that a lot of the meat had went to waste because I was gone working a lot and my father while he was recovering from his stroke had forgotten to give it away like we had decided and that I loved deer meat but I wasn't going to kill one if was going to end up freezer burnt. I asked her why she was vegan? She told me that she was extremely sensitive but was outgrowing it some and was thinking about becoming a vegetarian and then we went back to our other conversations. The fear in the other people's eyes at the table with us could be felt when she asked me that though😂. She wasn't rude, just seemed curious.
same way most democrats won't even consider reading facts that oppose their views. As for vegans, it feels really hypocritical how they can just claim to care about all lives and such but won't listen to billions of people that feel the need for meat or how they think that plants aren't living things. Just because they don't have sad crying eyes, doesn't make plants less alive.
@Cioby hypocritical to not listen to billions of people trying to justify killing billions of animals? is that really hypocritical or are you being dumb?
Honestly thats how I've been feeling lately, before I would take up on arms against everyone and would have dozens of threads on comment sections and forums arguing with people of different views. Now, arguments are good as long as they are productive, but most people dont look at themselves with a 3rd person view point and are blind as to what they dont know or could be.

Russell Brand has grown so much over the years. Most do, to some extent, but his journey has been public and while he absolutely drove me nuts years ago, he's now one of my favorite people to listen to and I would just love to have a conversation with him! Man, you do kill the hunted animal, you feel proud and you feel sorry, and you cry at the same moment. It's the same thing as with the native Indians that used to say "thank you" to the hunted down animal. I loved watching it and I consider both Joe and Russell to be intelligent men and they both made great points and I respect them both(I also think that the older he gets, the more Russell Brand is starting to look like the comic book writer Alan Moore). l loved the point Joe made about hunting in an era prior to there being refrigeration as well as the kind of large-scale agriculture that we have now and how hard it was to get food. It's similar to how when the founding fathers of the American revolution wrote the U.S. Constitution, when they wrote it, if you didn't hunt, it meant you didn't EAT. I can respect both sides of the arguments that they were making. I have never gone hunting but I know people who do hunt so I think that one of these days, I might have to try it.

Even when he can't totally "feel" what the other side is experiencing, Brand at least tries to acknowledge that maybe it's because his experience has been different from theirs. That's not to say he will just tolerate people whose positions are indefensible, but generally he is extremely open to honest discussion.
The thing I wish joe would have whent into a little more detail with is how it's perfectly okay to have a huge amount empathy for what you are hunting, any hunter worth their salt never wants the animal to suffer. The best hunters and the best marksmen feel the most pride when dropping big game from over 150 yards away and hitting the sweet spot for instant death. No pain, is what every hunter should strive for. Now that being said, I have messed up badly before when I was 11 and I shot a deer in the wrong spot and it wasn't instant death, I had to finish it with a knife and I cried, but we had meat for the winter. From then on I've practiced with a larger and more accurate caliber rifle with a scope that from 150 yards away I can shoot a grouping pattern about the size of the palm of your hand . I plan on making the grouping smaller. So hopefully I won't ever miss the instakill spot again. I also believe that any animal that is dying a long painful death is flooding it's body with adrenaline and other chemicals that make the meat taste no where near as good as when it's instant. Kind of natures way of saying you suck at this, do better next time.
Have you ever hunted DMT on Elk? The Elk becomes the trip and the DMT the trophy...it's quite heavily regulated... by little guys with pointy ears on snowmachines...and lots of rules you can never know.
i love how eloquent russel brand is. but what i love is his perspective that people with contrarian thoughts should not impose on others who may not agree with them.
Not much of a conversation. Joe Rogan does his usual fine job of speaking calmly, in monotone, to control the other speaker. And Russell Brand does nothing to share the healthy results of a plant-based diet. And Russell doesn't mention the harm done to one's health eating animal flesh. If he's vegan, his knowledge base is limited, or is it he's throwing softballs so Rogan can promote unhealthy meat consumption? Brand does not represent the vegan community. Does he really need Rogan to explain animal killing?
Yeah like white people having different opinions on african slaves, and still getting along .. it's a beautiful thing when you ignore the unnecessary victims
@Bule Bolang Exactly, enlightened individuals don’t rage, mob and cancel people they disagree with. We can value the personal decisions people make for themselves. I don’t agree with all of Russel’s views, but how he chooses to live his life for himself is what is right for him. As is our personal choice good for us. We need far more understanding in the world nowadays, not angry mobs.
Daniel Reynolds Hunting isn’t akin to slavery or owning another person. Animals have hunted each other and have evolved to do so, it’s a naturalistic phenomena bud.
gym shoe He made a lot of sense and seemed to really soak in Rogan’s stance. This is called not a conversation. Where as Shapiro will come on, speak in rapid fire, make little sense, and repeat his same talking points without learning anything. This is why I respect Russell Brand, he promotes open mindedness, and you can’t deny that.
Toronto Rangers What? Do you even know what the difference is? Dog fighting involves extended periods of extremely violent fighting that will end in a terrible and painful death for the animal. Putting a bullet into the brain or heart of an animal is by far the least painful and fastest death for any animal. Not only that, hunting is used to provide food for people while dog fighting is literally for the dopamine release of watching gore and blood pour out of animals.
@Toronto RangersMy guess is, if those same hunters took two bull elk in full rut and put them in a small arena from which there was no escape, and forced them to gouge and gore themselves until one could no longer stand... the public would want to hang them too. You can do much better.
This is how people are meant to converse, differing opinions but respectful conversation. Kudos to them both. I strongly believe there is hope, but not just hope I think people are starting to work towards a common future.
Honestly, he has the type of vegan attitude that would be nice to engage with rather that shouting and criticising others, I'm vegan and in all honesty agree with Joe, if I lived in the bush, near a wild river or something I probably would eat animals every now and then, but what a pleasure seeing a civil conversation between two such differing opinions, well done gentlemen, well done
@@laurafedora5385 that’s exactly what I try to do, everyone is on their own path and needs to choose for themselves but ya, factory farming and how animals are treated is pretty much where I draw the line, I just personally can’t be a part of it 😌

However, it's these "activists" like that vegan teacher and stuff that get the most attention and people assume that's what's all vegans are like. They don't realise that yelling at people and calling them evil and stuff is just discouraging people from wanting to become vegan and causing more hate to the idea. I love how the media has portrayed Russel Brand as a complete idiot, funny guy but once you did deeper you find possibly one of the most interesting and intelligent people on the planet who hasn’t let fame and money get to his head and is very willing to learn and contribute to intelligent conversation.
The NotMangaMan, most of the media from 2007-2012 from what I remembered always made fun of him because of how he dressed and he is a comedian so he isn’t academically intelligent, I was young at the time so I might perceived it wrong but that’s what I remember

Russell is amazing because he is always willing to see both sides of something and accept that his views are his views. He stands his ground, but hes rarely disrespectful or patronizing about it. Great conversation!
While also slightly making fun of things some vegans do like rambling on about their view points and beliefs because they someone gave them an in like the topic of hunting. He’s a smart dude.
We hunt as a family and have not purchased beef in two years, relying on the elk we harvested. As a hunter I am excited when we harvest an animal but there is also a sense of sadness. That empathy Brandt feels is real and many hunters feel it as well but we cherish eating our elk for a year and thank the family member who harvested it. I cannot argue against a vegan who is against hunting, that logic is theirs and it is sound. I on the other hand will never have patience for someone who eats meat from the store and is against hunting. They must have never driven by a factory farm, where animals live covered in there own feces.
@@jackhammer7824 It's strange to hear that I have no sense. Where did you get the idea that people similar to me don't value farmed animals equally as wild animals?
Totally agree! Just one thing I think we all need to do, at least those who can, is to support our local meat markets and independent pig, poultry, and beef farms and ranches. I love wild game, but there are many times when I want some good white meat, or real beef steak. Sourced locally reduces corporate interest's hold on meat sales, and if we did this large scale we could change things back to the way they used to be, and make small ranches more profitable again!
When I went hunting for the first time hunting my cousins, who are hunts, I told them how I felt really bad when we were butchering, my cousin told me something that will always stick with me. “That’s a good thing, you should feel like that. Taking a life is not laughing matter. If you didn’t feel that way we would have a problem. That feeling is where true respect for the animal comes from.”
Yeah, depends on how big the kill is though. If its a big one and all you eat is the meat you can probably make 5-6 months out of it if you eat other stuff with it so you can have smaller portions of the meat at a time you can make it even longer than 8. Rogans interview with glenn villenueve is good on this he talks a lot about it
Liam Foster If you’re responding to the other guy, majority of Joe Rohan’s diet is elk. He has a podcast on UA-cam that he says he’s on a all meat diet and Elk is his prefer meat. He’s occasionally have cheat day where he eat a piece of candy or other food but primarily he eat elk. But if he’s rations it to last 8 months, he must not eat big portion and is very controlling of the ounces he eats.
I've actually gotten a small whitetail deer a couple years ago and there was enough meat (if properly butchered) to fill up a freezer and deep freezer chest. Whitetail populations skyrocket rapidly in a lot of rural areas so it's necessary to keep their population in check
I really like how russel says” now if I was doing that I have to much empathy I don’t think I could do that, what goes in your mind?” Instead of freaking out on joe
I’m actually shocked by Brands speech. He was able to in his own speech give both views in a well developed manner instead of being close minded to his own specific feelings and not imposing an agenda. I'm a pita person, people that eat tasty animals I enjoy your show for me. I respect you for listening to both sides and for standing your ground. I also enjoyed you in the Fear Factor.
I think it has a lot to do w/ Joe's interview style. He will challenge people's view points, but it is as if he's doing it in a way to learn and educate...so it's not overly assertive and doesn't cause defensive walls to go up. All that goes out the window if someone dumps on pot though! lol
adam rushing I agree. Joe is really good at making a conversation a 2 way street unlike most talk show hosts like Colin Cowherd where he makes you agree with what he’s saying or else he’ll belittle you.

depends on how it's done. those rare animals are specifically selected because they are unable to breed or known targets of poachers. The cost of the hunt is extravagant to the hunter and all meat is donated to the locals. The only think the hunter gets to have is the picture at the end of the hunt usually

If things cant be hunted(wether or not it has the numbers to make hunting it sustainable) then those animals have to depend on other people. What a great conversation! The fact that these 2 men don't agree, don't change their pov, butt still hear and RESPECT each other gives us all a model of how to converse with people with which we do not agree.
The thing to appreciate about Russel here is that he's capable of articulating and understanding this opposing viewpoint. He's not strawmanning anyone, he's not trying to win an argument. He's expressing his own distaste for hunting, but simultaneously accepting the reasoning behind why people like Joe hunt.
This video is a great example of tolerance. The antithesis of bigotry.
It really depends on the argument with him, he does often fall into the pit of assuming what people think rather than listening to what they say but he performed pretty well in this
It’s called not being insecure over your own ideas not a lot today

Then you harvest all you can and what's l we ft goes to the dogs. Every animal I kill is one less that is raised and killed in horrible conditions. Also the people that don't eat the animal around here donate it to the poor
Ricky Woods I wonder if Masterpiece GB eats store bought meat? If he/she has ever seen the sick conditions that those type of meat are in they’d stop buying and start hunting and not every hunt do you get something because it takes skill and patience. Some folks will never understand. Have a fantastic day bud
Russell Brand has grown so much over the years. Most do, to some extent, but his journey has been public and while he absolutely drove me nuts years ago, he's now one of my favorite people to listen to and I would just love to have a conversation with him!
I completely understand that not everyone can deal with taking a majestic animal's life, and even I had some times where those thoughts went through my head. It's all about respect for nature, and realizing that we have always been a natural member of the food chain. I would never try to talk someone into hunting if they're not comfortable, and I'm glad Russell has realized it's not his place to do the opposite.
@nasser wiz Versus looking at what it is, you take his character and make an assumption against him to dislike him? On top of that, an assumption that has nothing backing it up?
@nasser wiz You're sure he manipulates young females? where did you gather this assuredness? or are you just saying you're sure because, you know, fuck it it's the internet?
@nasser wiz Jesus had a guru vibe too

This is what politics should be. Finding common ground.
Not many politicians can find common ground with anyone
An example: dems propose 2.3 trillion dollar bill and bail outs for democrat run cities, trump tries to find middle ground with 1.6 trillion, which is plenty. Dems refuse. Trump again tries to find common ground by wanting $1200 for every eligible American. Dems refuse. To them it's their way or nothing and this is the problem with the modern day dems and its why so many are leaving them for the repubs. fax only!
Because there's too much dirty money in politics. People can be easily bought.
Right they were just talking without judgment. They respect each other’s view
You're doing the thing you are talking about. Surely you can at least acknowledge that there are Democrats that have real views that you disagree with that aren't just bad people.

It's not respectable to talk about murdering other animals. You wouldn't say that about a Nazi: ""oh, well at least they're talking about their evil, murderous ways with prose and decorum!" Fuck off. It's evil. Money sent from murder is irrelevant. It's about the other animals, not some fucking money. You're still murdering a living thing. The ends don't justify the means. It's evil.
Joe Rogan, Stone Cold Steve Austin, Shawn Michaels, Brock Lesnar, Goldust, and Ted DiBiase Jr. are murderers. Fishing and other hunting is murder. Other animals' lives aren't your playthings. Leave other animals alone. Other animals aren't toys to dress up and pose for your amusement, or tools for you to use as you please. Leave other animals alone. Humans have a serious lack of empathy when it comes to other animals. They're not mindless machines. Their emotions aren't muted. Human ego is disgusting.
Only animals of human-level intelligence are capable of evil. Humans aren't more special or important than other animals. You're not better by definition. Fuck you.
There are far too many animals in orphanages, many kill orphanages, some gas chamber orphanages, to justify breeding/buying from breeders. They're #NotProperty to be bought/sold. Adopt. They'll show you how full of love life is. Save their life, and they'll save yours.
It's not euthanasia. It's not done for their benefit. It's murder. Imagine the outrage if humans who weren't being adopted were killed. It's no different for other animals.
Other animals don't have "vets". They have doctors, and health and medical care. Just like humans. There's no distinction. There'd be outrage if different humans had different doctors and terms depending on their race. It's no different for other animals. That's speciesism.
People spend money on war rather than helping other animals. Medical care should be socialised, like humans have.
Caring for other animals isn't a chore, it's a duty and privilege.
Other animals don't belong in the entertainment industry. Not only is it extremely stressful for them, and wild animals are abused until they submit to human will, but how dare you deprive them of their life. Elephants that do tricks and give rides aren't happy. They do it out of fear of what happens if they refuse. Swimming with dolphins isn't a good activity. It's extremely stressful for them, and leads to them catching diseases. They're viewed as tools for profit, nothing else.
Other apes, monkeys, and horses used on cards smiling because they're happy. Other apes and monkeys do what's called a "fear grimace", while horses smile in submission. They're not happy, they're abused.
Freedom is what matters in life. You wouldn't trade freedom for comfort and safety, and you have no right to force that on other animals.
Experimenting on other animals is vile. How dare you cause such immense suffering and murder. You're birthing them to torture them. What a miserable existence. That constant, unending torture is unimaginable for most people.
Fireworks and other explosions are horrible. Other animals, like cats, dogs, and birds, get absolutely terrified by fireworks. Causing such intense, unending fear is unjustifiable.

Balloons, Chinese lanterns, glitter, sequins, and microbeads don't decompose. They stay in the environment, and end up being swallowed by other animals.
Having human-level intelligence doesn't somehow stop you being an animal. That makes no sense, whatsoever. It's specifically because you're an animal that you can have human-level intelligence. It is a trait of animals because an animal has it: humans. Everything we do is, by definition, animalistic, because we are animals.
Everything humans do is by definition animalistic, because humans are animals. There's no distinction. Being an animal isn't an insult. It's awesome. It's what lets you be you.
Intelligence doesn't make one animal more special than another. That's just a trait humans have. It's no better than running fast or jumping high. Evolution has no will. It's not trying to make other animals more human-like. A slug is as evolved as we are. A slug got it right.
It doesn't make you inherently better at all, and saying that totally disregards how stupid and evil humans are. It's nonsensical. That's human ego. The second an alien race arrives that's more intelligent than we are, you people will move the goalposts for what it means to be more special. You say it not because it's true, but because it currently benefits you.
You can't own another living thing. They're not consumer goods to be bought and sold. They're not property. They're above monetary value. They're not toys for your amusement, or tools for you to use as you please. There'd be outrage if humans were treated like property. It's no different for other animals. That's speciesism. We're not their owners, we're their parents.
Pet isn't an insult. That's horrible. A pet is an animal of another species, in your family, that you care for. They're your children, and brothers, and sisters, and nieces, and nephews, and cousins, not some ornament to have around for novelty, that you only pay attention to when you're bored. Species is irrelevant to family.
You wouldn't do it to humans, so don't do it to other animals. It's that simple.
No one has the right to make fun of, or hurt, or abuse, or exploit, or murder, any other animal, for any reason.
Do what is right, not what is easy.

If you're going to cry about judgement and grandstanding aren't you contributing to the problem? Cause are opinions all the same and self expression. Why is "judging" where some people want to cut off their "free speech" fanaticism? Let me say whatever I want but don't judge me? If the "differing opinions" mean a worse life for you or an attack on your humanity as it so often is with the many hateful ideas in our society, it's not just some inconsequential opinion.
Too bad religions couldn’t do this.

I’m sorry you had to go through that, and I’m proud that you are improving your skills even beyond what is even necessary
It happens. But, hey. You improved yourself and hopefully, your next hunt will go much better.

Great conversation from two opposing views. Great to see adults can have a conversation about stuff they don’t agree with and still be friends 🤘🏼
Rogan said nothing persuasive or factual. He is a meat pimp for the meat industry.
Holy shit a calm conversation about hunting. Nice
gym shoe He made a lot of sense and seemed to really soak in Rogan’s stance. This is called not a conversation.
Where as Shapiro will come on, speak in rapid fire, make little sense, and repeat his same talking points without learning anything. This is why I respect Russell Brand, he promotes open mindedness, and you can’t deny that.
@mike fightfan You seem to be confused
@Toronto Rangers Lol, what?
You sound a lot like my bestie who’s a vegan. She doesn’t push her beliefs on others and more objects to factory farming and trophy hunting etc
@@laurafedora5385 that’s exactly what I try to do, everyone is on their own path and needs to choose for themselves but ya, factory farming and how animals are treated is pretty much where I draw the line, I just personally can’t be a part of it 😌
You should look up Jordan Peterson talking to Russell
@Heloise O'Byrne I get the same reaction all the time, the type of angry vegans yelling at people just wind me right up lol
Exactly. It's a shame since people like you and the people who responded to this comment (or the friends they're talking about) make up the majority of vegans. However, it's these "activists" like that vegan teacher and stuff that get the most attention and people assume that's what's all vegans are like. They don't realise that yelling at people and calling them evil and stuff is just discouraging people from wanting to become vegan and causing more hate to the idea. I personally am not vegan but I can see that the world will never be at a sustainable and humane rate of meat consumption due to these people making bad names for the cause.
"I let go of judging people for things I don't agree with, because you know, I don't know everything"
Mmhumm amen
@MorbidManMusic What are you even babbling about? He said amen, a word which means "confirm" or "truth" in Hebrew. Injecting religion into someone's statement to discredit their intelligence doesn't make you a genius either ....
Morbidmanmusic you’re not being a know it all judgmental person are you? I sure hope not.
Drizzyr what a humble response. That is rare thing to see on here theses days.
Its really sad to see people like you@MorbidManMusic. You should truly read that quote 100 times because it will amount to more than you will if you don't.
@MorbidManMusic nice job judging someone.
Russell Brand has my respect for debating everyone. period.
I'm glad Russell understood that part of being human in the natural world being who we are the hunter gatherers is being a natural human.
Would have been more impressive with bows and spears they actually used to be a "hunter/gatherer", not gunpowder and lead.
@@Ronald1987100 why didnt the hunters back then use their fists?
Rogan is smart enough to not believe religious silliness from 2000 years ago because it doesn’t apply but he needs to relive his Hunter gatherer that is even older then religious silliness. Right
I love how the media has portrayed Russel Brand as a complete idiot, funny guy but once you did deeper you find possibly one of the most interesting and intelligent people on the planet who hasn’t let fame and money get to his head and is very willing to learn and contribute to intelligent conversation.
*sniff sniff*
What? The media portrays him as smart.
The NotMangaMan, most of the media from 2007-2012 from what I remembered always made fun of him because of how he dressed and he is a comedian so he isn’t academically intelligent, I was young at the time so I might perceived it wrong but that’s what I remember
How much did Russel pay you to write this comment lol
Radical Ricardo lmao
“There, you’ve been dealt with paper man”

Two of my favorite podcasters doing what makes them my favorites. They talk to each other knowing they have differences but listening fully and not becoming aggressive. Truly respect these two.
Russell is amazing because he is always willing to see both sides of something and accept that his views are his views. He stands his ground, but hes rarely disrespectful or patronizing about it. Great conversation!
Well... There are a few times...
To be honest, this is the first time I've seen him like this. It's quite pleasant.
Well put.

Holy shit. Russel just captured the intrinsic value of hunting to today’s society.
And he did it as a vegan.
Truly impressive .
He's so amazingly conscious. He has the ability to be truly compassionate amd I adore it.
@SUPERNATURAL MAN it's okay to be generic, non creative, and not witty/funny. Just accept it 😉
@SUPERNATURAL MAN these people just dont get it. Dont worry about her
While also slightly making fun of things some vegans do like rambling on about their view points and beliefs because they someone gave them an in like the topic of hunting. He’s a smart dude.
All creatures have their place in the world. Why is ours under so much criticism.
@@jackhammer7824 What do you think about people who complain about hunting and eating meat from the store?
@@jackhammer7824 It's strange to hear that I have no sense. Where did you get the idea that people similar to me don't value farmed animals equally as wild animals?
Well put
Totally agree! Just one thing I think we all need to do, at least those who can, is to support our local meat markets and independent pig, poultry, and beef farms and ranches. I love wild game, but there are many times when I want some good white meat, or real beef steak. Sourced locally reduces corporate interest's hold on meat sales, and if we did this large scale we could change things back to the way they used to be, and make small ranches more profitable again!
@@jackhammer7824 Shooting a tiger is not right, it's an endangered species.
Your sister is correct, the dumb one is you.

Holy shit.
So an entire Elk can feed a man for 8 months?!
Need to strap-up in the wood now.
Yeah, depends on how big the kill is though. If its a big one and all you eat is the meat you can probably make 5-6 months out of it if you eat other stuff with it so you can have smaller portions of the meat at a time you can make it even longer than 8. Rogans interview with glenn villenueve is good on this he talks a lot about it
@Liam Foster both of the things i said are right... notice the "If"
@Liam Foster i see mb
If Russel ever did a hunt, the video after he recovers his game would be the best ever. Its a very spiritual moment.
Sidenote: If Russell Brand was the voice of every opposing view we ever had this world would be such a better place.
No hes just underselling his own argument to capitulate to what most people believe.
@@gangliums Can I hear a steelman version of his argument? Thanks.

I really like how russel says” now if I was doing that I have to much empathy I don’t think I could do that, what goes in your mind?” Instead of freaking out on joe
Because he doesn’t want a lethal Joe Rogan leg kick
I’m actually shocked by Brands speech. He was able to in his own speech give both views in a well developed manner instead of being close minded to his own specific feelings and not imposing an agenda. People are correct this is how discussions about topics are suppose to be performed which sadly we see very little of today.
Im late to this but catch a couple of clips from his podcasts. Hes based as fuck

I appreciate the hell out of Russel for keeping an open mind on what Joe is saying.
That last rant from Russel at the end sent me 😂😂
