It is such a joy to see these two having fun playing together. How I miss Tom's laugh, his playing and the joy that he had in it and the joy he gave to so many others. This is typical of "Tom humor" and Vincent's quick response and reply to every new wrinkle in the music. I don't know why I have never seen this before. Thanks, Ron.
That laugh got me too. I hate to be dancing around the room trying to avoid the sharp furniture corners and just start crying ... for no particular rea... oh yeah. Thanks from me, too, Ron. These are so special.
There is so much incredible young talent around. And thanks to people like Tom that get an opportunity to show what they really can. He challenges them to their absolute limits and if possible a little over, just like any good teacher would do. I really love this video, if only for the sheer fun of it.
It breaks my heart to see at 1:15 all front-row seats empty!!! What a privilege it would be to be sitting there! Time machine, I am waiting for you!
@@bachaddict Oh there may have been a few more ear-pairs in the room. Some of us thought one of best times at the festival was after After Hours and checked out all the piano rooms to see who was carrying on. (Both Tom and Adam had been performing since 9am the previous morning, of course - they're still wound up.)
Oh yeah... I do have a couple more videos' worth of footage from the Great Reno Balloon Race still to compile together... and a bunch of other stuff going back to a trip to Discovery Kingdom that Linda and I took in 2007 or 2008...

Thank you Keeper1st for staying up and recording this great late night/early morning battle of the keys. It's a joy to listen to!

Now, that was so silly of them, I love those ragtime nightowls! Thanks for posting Ron!
Tom Brier’s “intro” to ‘When you wish upon a star’ is lovely. Such talent!

Seriously. I would have loved that front row seat
This was at 2am after the concert audience had gone home and gone to bed

Cómo están conjuntados. Que bien tocan los dos. Es un placer oirlos
This is one of the better videos I've seen!
Tom told me this was his favorite of all the videos I ever posted of him.
@@Keeper1st Awesome, but I was referring to out of all videos, not just out of his own! :)
I absolutely love this! Amazing, all of your videos!
this is a treat I love this
1:52 duelling ornamentation!
Son increibles como conjuntan, como improvisan y las variaciones que hacen sobre un tema
You won't say Tom has hands of steel after you see the next video I'll post with him. It's of a tune he wrote called "Meditation"...
@steinwaygrande1 I think it was after 3 a.m. ... Sleep is for AFTER the festival!
Keep on keepin on u talents!

I Think Agenst A Grand And An Upright, The Upright Wins "Hands Down" With Tom's Hands Of Steel. Merry Christmas!
Baby grand
Lmao I love it
I see the clock on the floor. Interesting place.
It's there so the performer can know exactly what time it is and how many other numbers he/she can play 🙂
This considered an after-glow party?
