Its my first time owning one and im very exicted and im very careful with them if they have any allergies or anything and bough a book of how to take care but it doesnt include a lot of important stuff you said so far. I ordered the Calcium supplements that you have linked to! My son is concerned about giving her too much calcium since she's eating puppy food that has extra nutrition in it. Should we be concerned?
Its good that she’s eating puppy food thru gestation and wile nursing puppies! This puts what the pups need in her milk. Wile nursing is the time she needs the most help with calcium/ phosphorus supplement. We give 3 tablets a day of DocRoys to the momma wile she’s nursing pups and a few weeks after for recovery. 👍
No. It’s a big market with lots of demand. The key is to get good at promoting yourself and your pups. We saw an up spike during covid. Lots of buyers. Now things are returning to normal. That’s what I see. 👍
It is possible she’s feeling stressed about the environment she’s in. Too much noise or activity around the Whelping area. That could be a reason. Let us know how it goes and we hope you have a healthy litter! 👍
