18:10 "Someone in the back that looked way too cool" That comment couldn't be more right, prepare to meet the character with the most drip in all of jojo's
Honestly I never felt that personally, when you look at the appearence of the other characters in the same artstyle it seems easy to guess his approximated age and that he is aging between parts. And what do you expect him to look like at 40 when the general artstyle of each part soften the facial features ? With a beard or wrinkles ?
@@MrLight-6251 honestly from what we saw of the part 6 anime so far they really did him well compared to the manga, he also looks more matured in the anime (a lil in the manga) with each passing part, just from his expressions and facial features
There are so many things I love about just the first episode, I’ll just list a few: 1. Jotaro has matured. When he bumps into Koichi, he not only instantly apologizes, he uses Star Platinum to put Koichi and his stuff back. Part 3 Jotaro probably would’ve kept walking. 2. Even though Jotaro and Star Platinum aren’t the main characters, they’re still absurdly strong. They fake you out thinking it’s gonna be a big fight before Josuke just gets decked. 3. You instantly get a feel for Josuke as a character. Whereas in Part 3, it took a couple episodes to get a feel for Jotaro’s character, here you can tell what Josuke is all about right off the bat. 4. Morioh as a setting automatically gives it a much different vibe that I personally love, one that the art style only amplifies. 5. Jotaro just straight up punched Josuke. Not Star Platinum. Jotaro. That’s just awesome.
1: I fricking love that too! 2: too bad Jotaro's time ability is way nerfed, specially since there are way less moments of "talking is a free action" 3: yeah, the same goes for Jonathan and Joseph. Jotaro was the one who took the most to get a feel for 4: I fricking love that too! 5: I FUC*ING LOVE THAT TOO! And I may add that I really loved when the girls are simping for Jotaro. It feels kind of like an easter egg where you point to the screen like Leonardo Di Caprio, saying "I get that!"
So excited for your reactions to this part. Love it. So a few things, the second Jo in Josuke's name is the suke part. Suke can be read as Jo. Second, Crazy Diamond's name (a reference to Shine on you Crazy Diamond by Pink Floyd) was canonically given by Jotaro in the manga. Oh yeah, part 4 takes place in year 1999 which funnily enough, was the future in the moment that the manga was being made
I love that after part 3, Jotaro's name became pretty much legendary in the stand world and he is technically the "strongest" since he beat DIO. It's so funny listening to people be afraid of even just his name. XD
Congrats to reaching Part 4! Glad you are digging the artstyle, it is so colorful and bold. Josuke might be my second favourite Jojo, he is just someone you can easily see yourself being friends with. And white outfit Jotaro is best Jotaro, it is such a great look on him even if the hair makes even less sense now.
Fr, such a broken and serious character like Jotaro works amazing as a side main character. That and the fact of how matured he acts now. It makes me want to walk down the streets with him feeling safe with him at my side

Introducing my second favorite jojo and the most precious boy Higashikata Josuke! Josuke was the fastest I ever got attached to a character in jojo. He's just very lovable and seems like a guy you could easily become friends with. Part 4 is my favorite part the way everything is set up and executed is brilliant. This is the first episode yet there are small easter eggs and hints that you would need to rewatch to catch. This part also has god-tier transitions. The man himself Jotaro is also back and he's changed a lot from the delinquent highschooler we know him as. All though there are still occasions where his old delinquent personality breaks out. Jotaro has matured a ton in the past 10 years and he's even a marine biologist now there was actually a small foreshadow for that in part 3. Part 4 is a super fun part with many amazing and lovable characters. I can't wait to experience it all over again with you guys!
Something I love about part 4, which I’ve only noticed recently, is that if you take note of the background characters you’ll end up seeing them in later episodes (Like the guy with earrings, which I never knew was there lol)
I believe jotaro has some kind of ptsd from the fight with DIO (he watched his grandpa die infront of him even if he came back to life, and kakyoin died without him being able to do anything about either of them) and to top it off he has the same power used to kill kakyoin and joseph, so no wonder he never uses it and ended up only having half a second of stopped time
Can I just say, that I think it's funny (or like it, can't really verbalize it) that Part 4 is now officially called "Diamond Is Unbreakable" in the translation? Back when I first read it the name I used whenever I talked about Part 4 was "Diamond Is Not Crash".

They all get their own episodes and enough of screen time And focus. I Still hope that the two parters Will be in one video as It was like it until Now. There Are some sick ass fights And just as you noted at the end of part 3, some stands Are more Wild And specific. Welcome to Morioh, TGL Gang! Our crazy noisy bizarre town! The only exception to this rule is Yukako.

The guy with the earrings was one of several future characters hidden in that crowd. The anime added a few scenes where we can see things from later episodes before they were in the manga, which really makes the town feel more dynamic and alive.
18:10 "there was someone in the back with the earrings that looked way too cool" David Production actually foreshadowed many of the characters in the background including the cool guy with the earrings who's also my favourite character in this part
OK OK im SO excited for this one. You guys are in for a really awesome season. Welcome to Morioh. Typing this before I watch the video but, you may notice that the artstyle is different. Here's why. Unfortunately, Jojo part 4 had a rough budget... David Productions went BANKRUPT in the middle of producing this part.. HOWEVER they miraculously recovered during it too! Essentially, part 4's artstyle in the anime is supposed to resemble a sort of ink brush style at times. Also, the main reason for this artstyle change is because Araki's artstyle changes. with just about each jojo part. Ok, so, I'll make sure this week is super brief.. But I want you guys to know that I will be giving you a new format of context for some of the characters and stands, allow me to explain. Some characters, if not many.. are based on songs. What I mean is, loosely, many characters are written in this part based on certain lyrics or entire lyrics for certain songs. But note this. Not every character is fully based on a song, most of the time its just namesake. However a handful of significant characters are indeed based on musical lyrics more heavily, some aren't. Pretty simple. This part of JoJo has many things that contextualize the character is such a lovely way And I'll be frank, it gave me goosebumps when I read Part 4's manga for the first time.. So! I'll cut this short just because this is only episode one. But here's what I'm going to do in part 4 every once in a while. I'm going to give a song Prez, and I'll give you the specific time frame to listen to it. (Because YES listening to certain song lyrics that characters are based on too early CAN SPOIL you on part 4) Josuke's stand is named Crazy Diamond. On youtube search "Shine on you Crazy Diamond" And click the video that is 25 minutes long.. Yes.. this song. is 25 minutes long. But you are not going to listen to the full song. no no no. You'll be listening to bits and pieces of the song once every while! You see where I'm getting at with this? This song has acts, or parts persay.... Just like the characters having different phases of their development. Start the song at 8 minutes (you can skip the looong intro to this song if you dont want to hear all of it... but its really good though!) and then end the song at the 10 minute and 4 second mark. 8:00 to 10:04 - I'll be posting the lyrics to this section in the comments. And you can read the lyrics as you listen. This is something that will help you feel closer to some of the characters in this part of Jojo and understand some of them on a deeper level. It's fun! I hope you guys have a fantastic week. I can't wait for more greatness! Take care and have fun with all of your endeavors.
Shine On you Crazy Diamond (Lyrics for 8:00-10:04) "Remember when you were young, you shone like the sun. Shine on you crazy diamond. Now there's a look in your eyes, like black holes in the sky. Shine on you crazy diamond. You were caught on the crossfire of childhood and stardom, blown on the steel breeze. Come on you target for faraway laughter, come on you stranger, you legend, you martyr, and shine!" You're going to see two dualities of Josuke's personality... He is sweet and gentle but theres obviously a side to him that is ferocious and angry!
@@TGLReacts in some later episodes you can notice somewhat. They actually fixed it for the Blu ray version. After you see part 4 they have comparison videos and then it looks obvious.
@@somebodyyoudontknow3980 I remember a few 4chan threads i was in saying they went bankrupt because of part 3 wasn't selling well, but i'm not sure if that was it

Omg so excited 😍😍😍😍 josuke (4) is one of my favorite jojos and also his stand ❤️🩹 And also… how you found Rohan in the crowd?? 😂 I’ve never noticed that omg
Welcome to Morioh! A small town full of bizarre people. Knew you guys would love Jotaro being back once again :P And we meet Josuke Higashikata! References this time! Josuke's Stand Crazy Diamond is named after the Pink Floyd song "Shine on You Crazy Diamond". Josuke's design is based on the musician Prince. His favorite musician is also Prince. Josuke's iconic pose where he has his hands over his face like a picture frame is similar to Cazuza's, a brazilian singer. Don't think he ever displays this in the anime but only in promotional stuff for jojos and games so I thought I'd might as well put this one in early. (Basically same if Jotaros iconic pose was pointing at the enemy) Josuke is initially introduced to being bullied by some upperclassmen. One of the bullies insults his hair by claiming it looks like Astro Boy's. In his rage, Josuke mishears it as Sazae-san. Anjuro Katagiri's nickname "Angelo" is the namesake to the American composer Angelo Badalamenti. Memorable memes this time! Ep 1: "Yare Yare Daze..." Ep 1: "What the fuck did you say about my hair?!" Ep 1: "Dorara!" Also this is the first part where Araki decided to make the men in his art style less buff and more slim and fit ^_^. You can definitely see the difference when comparing both the art styles of part 3 to 4, as well as the awe size of Jotaro and Josuke. Also nice job spotting a unique character in the background! There is ALOT behind the backgrounds that is sneaked in. Be fun to see how many you spot :P
New Jojo lets goo !! Personally i had a hard time adapting to the new art style cuz i love the original art so so much. Plus i felt that this part starts very slow but when it picks up it's very good with a vibe that's very unique to part 4 :D Thank you guys for your reaction it really hypes me up to watch it again with you ;)
This Part is where JoJo took a massive turn, both in artstyles and storytelling, because unlike the previous Parts, this is where Araki started to smoothen his drawing and made the characters less bulky as before, giving it a more modern look. Also, from the storytelling aspect, it has changed that Part 4 also can be considered as a slice-of-life genre. Oh, just in case you don't know yet, the "Jo" and "Jo" from Josuke's name is pretty unique of itself, because in Japanese, the "suke" in Josuke can also be read as "Jo" as well. Honestly, I think Josuke is the most relatable JoJo to date.
Morioh is a town based in the town Araki's grew up. The color scheme is a nice way to point out a town were bizarre things happens. The art style changed because Araki art style changed too! But in the manga, Josuke at the beginning looked like Jotaro part 3 (muscular and looking like a man at his 30's), gradually Araki started to draw Josuke more younger. I'm sure you guys will enjoy this crazy and noisy bizarre town.
Fun fact: in Josuke's opinion star platinum is the strongest stand that he's ever seen, and yet part 4 star platinum is weaker than part 3 star platinum
Josuke Stand, power to restore objects or organisms through touch. It can repair the damage, heal injuries, revert chemical changes and complex structures to their raw components
Star Platinum in part 3 is also called Star Platinum Prime because that was when Star Platinum was the strongest, at the end of Part 3 Star Platinum became Star Platinum: The World, because he learnt the time stop which he could do for around 5 seconds. Because he didn't practice it he can do it now for only half a second, but it will increase by time again
LETS GOO! Fresh Start! New Jojo! (my fav jojo actually) New Jotaro looks! and uhh yeah the hair... But yeah im really really excited for you guys! waiting for the upcoming episodes!
when you get to see the first appearance of main villan stand you will get the censored version , after seeing the first appearance of stand in that episode just google the uncensored version (there is still time for that episode )
some estra info on the part NO SPOILER: 1. this part was aparently started publication in 92' but in the story is 99', so Jotaro is 28, also they mention thata josuke as a kid had a fever that almost kill him in 87'; this happens also to Holly Joestar. 2. In the manga at the start of the part the characters look like part 3, but as the series go on the artstile shift a lot, so much that by the end of DIU they look even softer than the anime in this episode. 3. this is just a concer of mine i really hopoe that you guys finish part 5 in time for the premiere of part 6 in december.
This part of JoJo has many things that contextualize the character is such a lovely way
And I'll be frank, it gave me goosebumps when I read Part 4's manga for the first time..
So! I'll cut this short just because this is only episode one. But here's what I'm going to do in part 4 every once in a while.
I'm going to give a song Prez, and I'll give you the specific time frame to listen to it.
(Because YES listening to certain song lyrics that characters are based on too early CAN SPOIL you on part 4)
Josuke's stand is named Crazy Diamond.
Start the song at 8 minutes (you can skip the looong intro to this song if you dont want to hear all of it... but its really good though!)
and then end the song at the 10 minute and 4 second mark.
Shine On you Crazy Diamond
(Lyrics for 8:00-10:04)
"Remember when you were young, you shone like the sun.
Shine on you crazy diamond.
Now there's a look in your eyes, like black holes in the sky.
Shine on you crazy diamond.
You were caught on the crossfire of childhood and stardom,
blown on the steel breeze.
Come on you target for faraway laughter,
come on you stranger, you legend, you martyr, and shine!"
You're going to see two dualities of Josuke's personality...
He is sweet and gentle but theres obviously a side to him that is ferocious and angry!
Mad how they went bankrupt but we're somehow finding this art style to be our favourite so far😂
You've taught me something new today lol. I didn't know dp went bankrupt - I'm so glad they recovered
@@TGLReacts in some later episodes you can notice somewhat. They actually fixed it for the Blu ray version. After you see part 4 they have comparison videos and then it looks obvious.
@@somebodyyoudontknow3980 I remember a few 4chan threads i was in saying they went bankrupt because of part 3 wasn't selling well, but i'm not sure if that was it
part 4 was definitely one of my favorite parts, i’m glad you guys are enjoying it so far!!
Guys the guy u saw during the robbery in the side that seem suspicious he is an up coming character his name is rohan kishibe I didn't knew that u will guys will notice him 🙃🙃

Can't wait for the mid point when a suspicious character shows up and changes the story's atmosphere.
Josuke's theme is underrated and good

18:14 wow, i never knew they showed up this soon. good eye.
I never thought watching two guys reacting to something I saw 100000x would be interesting but here I am
18:14 Jesus Fuck! I didn't even saw him!! XD Good eye there.
I love how this part oozes small town horror flick vibes and that's why it's one of my favorites, Araki shines best when it's set in a rather small settings!
I love this part's production choices with the styles and colors it's an Eyegasm.
Also this part has the best Villain by far
Omg so excited 😍😍😍😍 josuke (4) is one of my favorite jojos and also his stand ❤️🩹
And also… how you found Rohan in the crowd?? 😂 I’ve never noticed that omg
Yess. very excited to start this part 4 adventure with you guys!
I love that part 4 puts pretty much all important people in the background
Wow! I watched part 4 three times and never noticed that cool guy in the back!
BEST JOJO MY MAN BEST PART MY GUY

LOL I never noticed Rohan standing there in the back in 18:15
I can't believe you saw that 18:13 I have seen this scene so many times it's my first time seeing that damn
Josuke is 100% my favourite jojo
(Basically same if Jotaros iconic pose was pointing at the enemy)
Josuke is initially introduced to being bullied by some upperclassmen.
Ep 1: "Yare Yare Daze..."
Ep 1: "What the fuck did you say about my hair?!"
Ep 1: "Dorara!"
Also this is the first part where Araki decided to make the men in his art style less buff and more slim and fit ^_^.
Plus i felt that this part starts very slow but when it picks up it's very good with a vibe that's very unique to part 4 :D
Thank you guys for your reaction it really hypes me up to watch it again with you ;)
The title should be: the best jojo yet
This Part is where JoJo took a massive turn, both in artstyles and storytelling, because unlike the previous Parts, this is where Araki started to smoothen his drawing and made the characters less bulky as before, giving it a more modern look. Also, from the storytelling aspect, it has changed that Part 4 also can be considered as a slice-of-life genre.
Oh, just in case you don't know yet, the "Jo" and "Jo" from Josuke's name is pretty unique of itself, because in Japanese, the "suke" in Josuke can also be read as "Jo" as well. Honestly, I think Josuke is the most relatable JoJo to date.
damn this guy knows that subbing to a whole year of onlyfans is cheaper 😂
👀👀
Josuke had fever just like holly
Holy shiut!
About guy with earings you were right, there is a lot of small details that set up coming characters
Josuke best jojo animated
....ROHAN IN THE BACKGROUND! they just made me realize lol
Cool thing, the Voice actor for Josuke is also the Voice actor for Louis from Beastars
18:14 YOOO THIS IS THE FIRST TIME THAT I NOTICED THAT
PART 4!!!! Here we gooo!!
AHHHHHH i was waiting for your guys reaction video !!! i love you guys so much and your reaction videos are so much fun to watch.
Appreciate it🤙🏼

18:11 i never noticed that ***** was in that cene
The part that was my fav before part 8 hype so excited
They think Josuke is weird? Wait until they meet Josuke lmaoo
That doesn’t make sense. Do you mean Giorno?
@@Kasar_Logic no he means Josuk8.
@@blackairforce13 oh ok he didn’t put the 8 so I didn’t know
Lollll
Welcome to my favorite Jojo!! Josuke!
"I wonder how many people in this place are stand users"
*Alot. Alot of stand users.*
Josuke weirdest Jojo lol. He’s literally the most normal one
Except the hair thing
Which does make sense but he is a little extreme about it
I gotta agree though. He is the most normal one
LETS GOO! Fresh Start! New Jojo! (my fav jojo actually)
New Jotaro looks! and uhh yeah the hair...
But yeah im really really excited for you guys!
waiting for the upcoming episodes!
I think you will love this part, it's full of amazing stands and characters.
We have a lot dedicated jojo fans in the comment section yall have my undying respect
"They're setting up a town instead of characters"
Yeeeeeeees he gets it! :D
when you get to see the first appearance of main villan stand you will get the censored version , after seeing the first appearance of stand in that episode just google the uncensored version (there is still time for that episode )
18:14 not you guys finding Rohan in ep1💀. I never saw that
some estra info on the part NO SPOILER:
1. this part was aparently started publication in 92' but in the story is 99', so Jotaro is 28, also they mention thata josuke as a kid had a fever that almost kill him in 87'; this happens also to Holly Joestar.
Great work guys, loving it!
Finally I will see what you think about my favourite part so far (among the animated ones; not a manga reader)
this part is a fan favorite i'm excited for the reactions!!
Joesph Joestar man, he's just built different 😂
"Jo" is one of the possible readings of the Kanji 助 "suke" in Josuke, so that's why they read his name as Jojo instead of Josuke.
Woah, I never realize that character is there. He will be one of the important character later on.
This part is imo the best animated part and I'm a biased Joseph fan
True, if Jotaro had an onlyfans it would be bussin
Keep checking the backgrounds like that! You’ll catch so many things that come later or tie into each other!!
