When you think about the major benefits a person can experience by resolving emotional trauma, you get a sense of how important it is for us to find inexpensive, effective treatments. I can imagine how much better society would become and how many serious social issues would evaporate via effective treatments that are readily available. I would speculate. e.g., we would have a much different outcome on 11/5, much less road rage, reduced depression, etc. The use of psychedelics in conjunction with counselling appears to have this potential....we need solutions that require weeks, not years to produce sustainable results. If there's one thing the science of psychology has taught us, it's that the human brain is not rewired quickly via traditional methods.
