    Greeting Aaron, Pure gold !!! Seen so many well meaning influencers telling us how to make money online but none as direct and clear as you. All of what you have said, makes sense and its doable. I seen Superhumans, H educate,others to name a few but your advice is gold mate. Appreciate the video and efforts that went into making these videos.

    Thanks Aaron! I admit, I was very skeptical to even take time to watch, but this video surprised me and even got me to write this review/comment. Was very impressed at the "tips" you give and definitely agree they will make you stand out. I have been told to get a job w/ an agency first and I'm hoping to do this to get more experience and be able to provide that to future clients down the road. If you have any advice for getting an entry level job w/ an agency, please do a video if you haven't already! If you're hiring, I'm EXTREMELY confident in my skills and can defer payment until I meet an agreed upon metric!!! :)

    Hey Aaron, could you do a video about why Google Ads could not be spending? I know it sounds odd, but for awhile with an ad account I was working on, it was a flatline for 3 weeks. I have never seen GA not spend money before like that. We needed the ads to spend a certain amount of money per month and it was dead and I checked everything from the ad copy, to site links, to site link descriptions and so forth. It was a first for me!

    You are completely missing the point here. Or this is directed to somebody who already has had clients before and now for some reason has to start from zero. As you can see the market is over-saturated, so there is simply too much competition on 2023 for beginners. But that's not even the problem. The actual problem is how to get to beginner level. You talk about de-risking the client. This goes without saying but the client's risk start from day 1 when they give Their Money for you to spend. As there is no practical way to practise running ads this market will forever be dominated by the ones who have had their first blue-eyed customers years ago.

    • @abbcc555
      @abbcc555 Рік тому +1

      I've paid multiple courses but I still don't trust myself enough to use customer's money. And to be fair if the situation would be the other way around, I wouldn't trust myself as the customer. So no matter how many clever ways you might think there is to get customers the risk is massive and starts from day 1. No sane customer would accept that today. I want to provide a service that will 100% help the customer. I would do anything to achieve that if there only were a way to test it and practise first. If the first client relationship goes wrong for some reason, you will carry that burden for a long long time.

      @@abbcc555 I've been contemplating this same issue since I've fallen into the SMMA rabbit hole just over 2 weeks ago. It seems to me the only way around this would be to leverage the experience and testimonials of a professional and you essentially act as a glorified salesperson / appointment setter for them. But I've tried reaching out to quite a few and the challenge becomes either A. Language barrier B. They Gatekeep info so you cant understand enough of the process to formulate a comprehensive sales pitch for your prospective client or a COMBINATION OF A AND B. This seems like the only viable option though BC as you said the market is so saturated they simply wont even see an untested beginner in the jungle of Upwork/Fiverr etc.

      @@abbcc555 Ok, I had to respond to this because Larry, with all due respect, I think you're missing the point....I agree with you in that I also have no interest in disappointing a client or underperforming, BUT I hope you've solved this problem of thinking this way by now since this was posted a month ago (I just watched this vid). I actually read your comment and started to think this way and then thought back at all the careers and businesses that I've had. If I had thought this way, I would have never moved forward with any of them! You are not going to do the best job with your first or even 5th or 10th client as someone like this guy Aaron...no way! BUT if you have this mentality that you are concerned for your client's best interest and that you want them treated the same as you'd treat your family (my same mentality), then you are way ahead of the game! Not many people care about anything more than making $. So be creative dude!!! First, get as much education as you can until YOU feel comfortable with doing these ads. I don't plan to spend much or anything to do this other than my time. It won't be easy with fish jumping in the boat either. I've had CRAZY successful businesses that I spent little to nothing to learn about while quitters spent $25K+++ on courses for the same thing! Then come up with your own ways to de-risk that you'll feel comfortable with if you actually do underperform! He gave some excellent tips on how to be creative to get these first clients but YOU come up with your own that work for you. Doing the split screen recording was a brilliant idea! You can express so many things as he mentioned and stand out from the crowd. You have got to try or you will never know. Or just give up and stop wasting your time watching videos, etc. But whatever you do, I hope you won't continue to make comments like this that may bring other people down like you almost did to me. This guy gave us a FREE video, FREE advice...he took his own valuable time and gave us years of his knowledge and expertise for FREE! He doesn't deserve a comment like this and neither do others that may be excited to pursue this path. Best of luck to you Gary! And adding this that I thought of after writing that...in his last video before this one, he even said don't just take the Google Certifications and think you've learned everything...you need to understand how to optimize for your clients and not just follow what Google is trying to sell you...this is already knowledge to help your customer that your competitor may not know! I had a biz about 10 yrs ago and did my own Google ads so I understood what he meant by this but thought it was insightful and helpful. Again, you don't need to buy courses to figure all this stuff out. If it helps you, then great but there's plenty of free or very low cost info out there. Learn it and most importantly, apply it and DO IT Gary!

      @@joshthomas6493 I appreciate you for taking the time to write encouraging words. I didn't mean to be disrispectful earlier but if it sounded like that so I want to apologize. I'm challenging the often quite idealistic views that people have and bring a bit of realism to the play. I saw this same "just do it" attitude a lot in Amazon FBA things. Everybody has their advises, everybody sells courses, everybody tells you to just do it. When you actually do it you realize you've been played and lose a lot of money despite doing everything "right". FBA only works if you are rich to begin with. And I'm afraid running an ads agency seems to be much the same since like I mentioned before, you can't practise. People who have friends with businesses etc. are miles ahead if they can use somebody else's money to try these things. So unfortunately my problems still stand, the situation is the same or actually might be a bit worse now with all the new chatbots coming. People who have established agencies and existing clients can now be orders of magnitude more effective. That raises the barrier to entry for us newbies even higher. I'm highly interested in this but as you mentioned in another comment - getting a job in an existing agency might be the best option, if not the only one. Unfortunately that's not something I can do. Also in those you most likely have to sign some kind of non-compete terms so it takes a good while to be able to use your newly acquired skills for something of your own.

      @@abbcc555 I still do disagree with you. You need to take bits and pieces from everything you learn to figure out your niche. YOU need to be creative and figure out your own ways to make things work!!! This is the problem I think most people have. They buy courses and expect to be handheld until they have 1, 5 or a portfolio of biz and that's not how things work. I don't want to spoon feed you, but here's another way you can start doing this to gain experience and not put anyone's $, etc at risk...google sends you $500 ads credit free (I think is the amount?). Use it for a friend's biz, etc and practice. You'll feel better getting some experience. Think of other things Gary...YOU need to be creative! I just find it so crazy when people spend all kinds of $ on these courses and never end up doing anything. I've done a lot in real estate and it's the same. You don't need to take expensive courses to get the education!!! And I don't think this guy is at all aggressive with his "pitch". He barely promotes himself. Anyway Gary, that's all I've got. Wish you the best.
