    He provided the secret to success at the 18 min time frame. Get up early and have a plan and disciple yourself to take small steps each day because they add up to BIG RESULTS! Focus 1-2 hours each day and do this over and over again and one day "It must be nice" will happen in your life. This applies to anything important to you. Family, Faith, Fitness, Fortune, and Friends. You and I mean you, can do these things and others will see you at the TOP. Get to work!

    What an amazing output. Yes....i remember when i waa younger and i wanted to do everything, always woke up early to do it because no one in my whole family was awake to stop me or complain. I had a great body, I was voted most likely to succeed because I was good at everything or so they said. Yet, the humble part of me felt that I wasn't done yet. Now my life runs me. My motivation is gone and my kids trample me. I desire to complete so much and have no clue where to start. See I'm still dreaming but I'm not eating. So I'm hungry for my desires and because you said so, I'm trusting you a hero a leader. Pray for us all. Thanks for your service, your motivation, lessons in discipline and determination, and sharing it with the world.

I tried this and it's the most work I've done in 6 years. Also if you can do the structured 4 hours for your top goals earlier in the morning, even better before the interuptions start.

  • @chadb8168
    @chadb8168 2 роки тому +2

    Great interview. I appreciate this. I also have a caveat that no one likes to hear on these channels or platforms. It is the fact that some people are disciplined, worked and work hard and never get to have that freedom. Some people are burdened with things they cannot control or choose. They only have the choice to not give up… on themselves or the few relying on them. For anyone born working class/working poor and below we happen to live in a country where there are still possibilities to rise up and incrementally change/improve your circumstances.. the opportunity is somewhat shrinking, but still available. With that being said, if you get hit hard early while in process of improving/changing your life it becomes exponentially more difficult as a time moves forward and you get hit hard every time you get back up never getting to the point where you have longtime security.. sure your character improves every time you choose not to quit and work harder and smarter than most just to have the bottom rung of middle class. The issue becomes that you do have a finite amount of time and people are superficial. So people have a strong belief that everyone whom has wealth or things has worked hard and has good character.. and that the inverse is that anyone without wealth is of bad character or at least deserves their lot in life

    Interesting to watch the interviewer's body and expressions as Jocko spoke - I'm thinking it might have hit home with him, making him feel uncomfortable. :-) But in humility, it's an assumption that could be off.
    Enjoyed the interview and I appreciate Jocko's perspective. It works!. I get up every work-day, read inspirational material and journalfor 15 - 20 minutes, exercise (biking or yoge) for 30 - 45 minutes, and meditate for 10 - 15 minutes before my shower and breakfast. Amazing how much better I feel and I'm ready for the day. Some of that activity is done with my wife. It has connected us in deeper intimacy and friendship. DO IT!

    If only the majority of people could acquire 20% of Jocko's discipline the world would already be a better place!

    Absolutely correct. What Jocko says lines up perfectly with the old saying "It is easier to control a 10,000 man army, than your own mind!" That is one smart, tuff, disciplined and talented soldier right there named Jocko! Jocko, slow down and command the pace! imho

    I just fired my boss and then became the CEO of the corporation after watching this.
    On a real note, grateful to have listened to this.
