Congrats on hitting 10k, Sarah!! Love and appreciate your work. Hope you’re having a great summer and enjoying settling into your new home. Stay well. 😊
I’m a new subscriber and loved this video. Thrifting is fun and I’m glad to hear your hooked and expanding your product area. Enjoy and I look forward to future videos!
Omg I want that lighthouse lamp. That's half of the fun with thrifting, isn't it? There's always something super awesome and unique and unexpected out there. Thank you for the comfy videos and congrats on 10k subs!
Congratulations on your 10K! Another fabulous video to start my weekend with. 😀 I love that Remington, it's so beautiful 😍 I two Remingtons currently in my collection, a 1930 and a 1940 and I really enjoy them. 🙂
Welcome to the Hermes crowd! 🤩 The Ambassador is a fine machine. Looking forward to your video on that one. Also congrats to 10k subscribers. Your videos are always fun to watch, so you really deserve those 10k subscribers. 👍
Very cool, congrats one of these days I'll get a portable typewriter that works and I'll be happy I also been looking for a hand cranked sewing machine to get my wife
Congratulations! Well deserved. I use (vintage) Pyrex to cook meals in the oven, and also the flat lids are great for covering bowls plates, etc in the microwave. SO useful, and no plasstic! I'm glad I have what I need because, oh my goodness, I am not going to spend $400 as that is the going rate these days in my area. Yikes.
Good job, and thanks for this. I love your Remington 5 and have one myself; my first vintage typewriter, a Christmas gift from 1998! (One that sat in the back of my closet for 25 years until I could finally afford to have it properly tuned!) There are smaller, lighter, faster and better typewriters, but for me, the curvy, swoopy, snappy Remington 5 is the sexiest typewriter I know. Hope you grow to love it as much as I do!
Congrats on 10k. I love all the thrifting content and of course the typewriter stuff. Me and my mom just used my birthday weekend to go to thrifting stores and it was honestly so fun. We have really gotten into it this last year. My friend has also found some in Finland that we will go to when I visit at the end of August from Norway. Can't wait.
Congratulations on 10K subs! I found your channel through IG because I collect typewriters, but love the thrifting videos as well - for me thrifting is a family affair, too!
Not "obsession," rather "interest." 10K!! That's great! Did UA-cam send you a plaque? Can we see it? I'm not usually a sucker for these UA-cam giveaways, but you're different. I'll sign up. I usually avoid thrifting videos. I have more than enough stuff in here already. But I know what sort of things you're interested in so it's fun coming along with you. Pyrex is great! I love that brown bowl you have sitting in front of you. Our mom had the multicolor set, but she put them in the dishwasher which ruined the finish. They're still fully functional, though and I still use them. That 100-year-old typing device is wonderful. In the early sixties we had a toy typewriter that worked on the same principle. I'm looking forward to your video about the Hermes typewriter. That's the largest one I've ever seen. I'm getting tired of all the videos saying the Hermes portables are the best typewriters ever. If a typewriter even works it's pretty great in my book. Remington was the very first manufacturer of typewriters and for that reason alone I like Remingtons. That "coffee" cart is a great find, especially for the price. I'm going to look for a smallish shoebox-sized toolbox and I hope I'll have similar luck. I find myself getting excited every time you find any typewriter out there.
I subscribed a few days ago so i'd like to think im the 10,000th subscriber : ) btw that Royal at 10:29 looks exactly like the one i bought last sunday. My first type writer but i have to take it to get some work done
Nice work making it to 10,000 subs. Here's hoping you make it to 20,000 in short order! I think I know what's driving the price of vintage Pyrex. It was all the rage in the 1970s, when I grew up. My mom loved it - she loved Corelle, too, and we even had a set in that same Old Town Blue pattern that you found, including those exact teacups. Pyrex was magical -- glassware that could go from oven to counter to table to dishwasher; ordinary glass would break if you tried to do that with it. But according to the all-knowing Wikipedia [smirk], Pyrex was reformulated in the 1980s. Actually, I suspect it underwent another reformulation more recently, because sometime in the 2000s, I started reading reports of Pyrex breaking, sometimes explosively, usually when taken from the oven and placed directly on a cold or wet countertop. This led to some people no longer trusting modern Pyrex, but since they don't remember vintage Pyrex having that problem, some people are probably seeking out older Pyrex pieces because they still trust those. Exactly how one identifies pre-2000 or pre-1980 Pyrex I do not know, and since the Internet as we know it today didn't exist prior to 1991, and didn't truly become "information at your fingertips" until years later, we don't really know if exploding Pyrex became an issue after the 1980s reformulation or a more recent reformulation or maybe happened to older Pyrex as well and we just didn't find out about it.
Ever since I got into expresso and cowboy coffee I got a stove top expresso maker and coffee boiler I stopped spending 400 bucks monthly on drive thru coffee
Congrats on 10k!! I'm jealous of that Ambassador. I haven't gotten to type on one yet.
Congratulations Sarah! Wow 10k subs! I loved the video as always! Here’s to many more thrifting/antiques adventures together!!!❤❤Mom
Congrats on hitting 10k, Sarah!! Love and appreciate your work. Hope you’re having a great summer and enjoying settling into your new home. Stay well. 😊
Pyrex is a great brand, it's better then plastic and healthier for you. Bpa and plastics disrupts your endocrine system anyway

Turn the lids upside down to use them as a trivet for the dish

What an awesome idea! Congrats on the 10k, it will be 20k in no time. Also, our 6 year old sings "Oh where is my hairbrush" almost daily lol IYKYK.
