In today’s video I’m going to take you thrifting into Goodwill. I will show you some fun and interesting things I saw while thrifting as well as a small haul at the end of the video. I hope this video gives you some "Thrifting Inspiration”! :)
-------JUST GO THRIFTING------SEE WHAT YOU CAN FIND?----------
There are beautiful, unique and inexpensive second hand treasures just waiting for you. These items can be found at your local goodwill, Salvation Army and other thrift stores in your area. Thrifting can be a challenge but very rewarding and worth the hunt! Some of my favorite things to thrift for are home décor items, name brand clothing, vintage items and anything unique or handmade!

I love the glass canisters! It is so fantastic when you find things at a later time that go with something you already found. The stars align and the universe is balanced. 😀
Yes they were definitely aligned! 👍💕 I was so happy to find the fourth. Thank you so much for stopping by and watching.
That vintage stand thingy would make a really cool bird bath...just add a bowl of some sort!
Yep it sure would! 🐦🛁 Thank you so much for watching. 👍💕
I would have bought the rectangular white baking dish. I also really liked the metal wired basket. Bunny lamp was cute too.🐇
Thank you so much for watching Patricia! 💕😁
Basket with the Silver Handles would make a great Coffee Table Display or Entry Way Item.
Oh yes that would have been an excellent entry way basket! 👍💕 Thank you so much for watching Tiffany.
Really like both of the things you got. I loved the vase that was beside the nesting bears
Hey Rebecca so glad you enjoyed my finds this week... Oh yes that vase beside the bears was beautiful too!! 😻👍 Hope you are having a great week, always nice to hear from you.
My mom has a beautiful collection of Five Finger Vases that she started in the 1970's. Thanks for taking us along Jessica💟🌞
I bet your mom's collection is beautiful! I really liked the look of the vase.💕 I hope someone that collects them snatches this one up! 👍
@@Hannicarose Me too! She started collecting when we moved from Chicago to Charlotte in the mid-seventies. It is very appropriate for the mama bear to be stuffing her face (I can relate).🐻🍓🍓
Love the nesting dolls. So happy you picked those up.The canister is great as well. I loved the cat mugs! And the Rabbit lamp!
Thank you so much for watching Karen. I was really happy with my scores this week. The bunny lamp was definitely a cutie. I hope he got a great home. 🐇
It's nice that you always donate before you buy. I wanted the globe real bad. My first grade teacher had one alot bigger than that and made of metal in the back of her classroom.
Thank you so much for watching. I always try to donate what I can. 😊👍 This globe was pretty, but unfortunately it was plastic. I would love to find a really nice one on one of my thrifting trips. 💗
I love Good Will. My house is decorated nicely from items from there. I also do assemblage art, find pieces for that in there, found many really cute Torrid dresses, I make skull flower arrangements and find stuff for those there. I love the uniqueness of the items.
Thank you so much for stopping by and watching Gina. 💕👍 Oh I bet your art pieces are awesome!
I loved the blue tap and the gold basket. Your Nesting bears are so sweet, especially the baby. I really love seeing what you do with your purchases. Thanks!
Thank you so much Karen! 💕😁 My favorite was the mama bear, she was stuffing her face with strawberries. 🐻🍓🤣
I would have bought the, Peter rabbit " mug and the bunny lamp immediately 😍
Oh they were both so adorable. 💕🐇🐇💕 Thank you so much for watching Nicole. 👍
I liked the cat mugs. I think the green metal thing was missing a dome or something on the top. There were spaces where bolts or screws fastened.☺️ Loved the glass jar and I can hardly pass metal baskets. Nice bears.
I was so glad to see you got the nesting bears! My favorite for sure. ♥️🐻
Thank you so much for watching Caroline. They were so cute, I could not leave them behind. I have actually seen some that are the three little pigs online. I would love to find those someday too! 🐖🐖🐖👍😊

Hi Mary and thank you so much for watching. That was a pretty good deal on that Pyrex carrier! 👍 Thank you so much for stopping by and happy thrifting! 😊
lots of cute things! I collect fawns, so would've definitely gotten the one you showed. 😍 i'm always looking for the bigger ones, like that one, to tuck between plants. i know i could just order some, but something about finding things "in the wild," is just more fun. 🌼🦔
Yes I definitely agree with you. It's so much more fun finding things in the wild. 😊💕👍 I do hope you are able to find some bigger fawns like the one in this video. Happy Thrifting and thank you so much for stopping by.

Love the margarita set, that looked like a teakwood bowl, nice haul on the clear jar🙋
Thank you so much for watching. 💕😁 That glass and pitcher set was gorgeous!!
I think it's one of those ashtray things at the glasses missing but it would make a really cute plant stand to that's what I would use it for that one with all the pretty colored Greens in it that would be really neat
Rabbit lamp, basket with the rings, and the Planters box I would of bought 😃. Thanks

It was nice...I love to repurpose items like this. Bird bath perhaps? Stained glass lamp?
Thank you so much for watching Adele. It could have been a DIY combination of a couple things. I'm thinking it was spray painted that color. 💚 Someone must have bought it, I've been back since and it's gone.
It would have made a lovely bird bath. 👍💕

The Wedgwood Peter Rabbit mug runs $18+ new Where were the Babuska nesting bears made? If in the USSR pre 1991 they are worth good money.
Thank you so much for watching Beth. I don't think they were the USSR brand. I've run into those before out thrifting in the past. 👍😊 Hope you have a great weekend Thank you again for stopping by.
@@Hannicarose Let me note I love your style and how you really spend time looking at items before buying an item, even if its from a thrift store.
Babuska nesting doll's have an interesting history. They were first made in the late 1800's decades before the Russian revolution and actually began as nesting eggs which were made made around Easter beginning in the late 1700's early 1800's .
They tend to represent the generations of a family and a womans womb.. If they begin with an old woman as the largest doll they are called matryoshka dolls. If they begin with a younger mother they are called babuska dolls. We have two from the USSR which we bought back in 1979. One has six and one has eight.
The nesting eggs had/have various Russian Orthodox Christian symbols. Instead of Easter baskets a child would receive a new nesting egg each year. The Russian Orthodox church in San Francisco had a lovely collection of old nesting eggs.
If made before the 1916 Russian revolution they are worth thousands of dollars and one from the 1800's even sold for 1.2M. They as well as Russian Fabergé eggs ( 1885 and 1916) made by Peter Fabergé made for the Russian royal family are the crème de la crème of Russian art. 43 of the original 50 imperial eggs are known to exist and they say the if just one of the eggs that have been never seen were to appear it would be worth at least $55M
Have a friend over in San Francisco who was friends with Malcolm Forbes (Forbes magazine) who held nine imperial Fabergé eggs visited her and in the late 70's wanted hers to make an even ten, but she didn't want to part with it. Even for $1M at the time.
