Shouldve used flex tape. But actually, what you shouldve done is use a bucket and take the water out as it was spilling. Then use that to put the fish into instead of a hose, so theyre in the samw water, and you get less on you. Just a thought
The hose is attached to a pump pumping there original water into the holding pond not really understanding why you would want to mess about with buckets a decent pump is a lot faster then bailing by hand! work smarter not harder!😂
@@lindathomas5500 Flex tape is literally waterproof, seal it correctly and it closed perfectly (normal tape loses its stickiness overtime, but if waterproof tape is taped in correctly, the water wouldn’t flow:/)

The revenue from the video can be used to help the fish. Also the water would’ve taken hours to fully drain so he had plenty of time to take a couple shots before the water drained
You should've used a patch on the inside of the Koi. Pond, not the outside cause. If you did it on the inside, the pressure of the water would have actually sealed the crack for you.
I just got back from out town and my 60g tank seam gave out. Wet rug and had to run to pet store quickly to buy a replacement. The depressing part is my old tank was custom now it’s a run of the mill.

I was about to comment this 😂 they should have used flex tape
I was running out of time, so I whipped out a camera for some good content

For pond or giant tank, you should use tempered glass or acrylic to avoid unwanted injury.
if it was tempered, the kois were dead, cause tempered explodes in small pieces, all water gone quick

legit would have been a good flextape commercial
Also him : 🤳
The crack was literally above the water level
"Water was almost empty, I need to work fast"😂
Any crack is a full blown emergency tear down. You never know when its going to crack more.
The crack went all the way down if you watch the rest
Cracks under pressure can expand very quickly, plus there could have also been micro cracks you can't see with the naked eye.
It’s moments like this that I wish I just got a dog
PHIL SWIFT HERE WITH FLEX TAPE!!!
Bro didnt use flex tape of course it would still leak smh
He did in the longer video
Bro havent watched any flex tape/seal commercials in his entire life.
Bro saw his fish about to die and then said this looks like some good content

Bro never seen the I sawed this boat in half commercial.
😂😂😂
Also a clear film over the glass would probably help strengthen the glass.
Imagine if that happened in a moment where no one was at home
FLEX TAPE IS SUPER STRONG fr have you seen the commercials This is that an extreme level
Oh what a nightmare, hope your finger is okay 🥰

Lucky fellow your ‘friend’ is the Pond Professor I believe!!
A wise man one said "flextape can go out of water, and in water"
Truly inspiring
I just built me a 500gal aquarium/pond this week, and after seething I'm glad I went with acrylic.
Did you try flex seal or flex tape?
He did
Literally every flex tape commercial!
You should've used a patch on the inside of the Koi. Pond, not the outside cause. If you did it on the inside, the pressure of the water would have actually sealed the crack for you.
I’m glad Ed was available to help you
Just a question, why not replace the glass?
He did, but this time with acrylic since it can’t crack.
"And thanks to today sponsor flex tape"
A friend?! Lucky!! He’s fabulous!!!
So glad they’re ok 😮💨

NOTHING SOME FLEX TAPE CANT FIX 💪
You must be used Temperd glass because temperd glass 5x stronger than regular glass
Here the solution.
FLEX,....TAPE!
If you put plastic bag the pressure of the water hold it in the site, at least slow the flow
This is why we use quadruple layer bulletproof glass.
I just got back from out town and my 60g tank seam gave out. Wet rug and had to run to pet store quickly to buy a replacement. The depressing part is my old tank was custom now it’s a run of the mill.

"Realy heavy and realy sharp pieces.."
*wears flipflops...
When you said the pond was half empty, I just wanted to jump in and clarify, it's half full! 😉
If you have a full cup and then drink half it is half empty.
If you have an empty cup and fill it half way it’s half full.
Technically it’s overflowing still thanks to the air going in and replacing the water.
It's emptying tho, not filling
@@ryp1562there is no spoon

Tape on the inside, pressure holds against glass and forms seal
Did we collectively yell "FLEX TAPE" ???

Should put the tape on the inside the water pressure would have sealed the crack
Team flex tape 👇
I don't scare the pond being broken
I scare the mom's reaction
😊
Maybe use hotglue and put a thick layer of hotglue and wait for it to dry
Flex tape guy: hold my beer
Flex seal would have stopped it from leaking. You should try it
I watched the video with Ed and looks like it cracked because of the rust on the steel as it caused a pressure point
Flex tape would have worked 😂
After i scroll this, the next video is the flextape ad😂

Talk about a home emergency ...
Those who remember flex tape 🫡
Should’ve use flex seal!! It works 70% of the time( I’m probably not using it right)
that is perfect for flex tape adverstiment bro why waste the moment
Flex tape, what you had. But from the inside so the pressure pushes it outwards
Flex seal could've saved the day temporarily anyway
if you wanna use tape, always do the inside first.
He used acrylic glass and epoxy in full video to fix it, if you are curious.
Definitely could've used some flex tape 'cause that's a lot of damage!
RIP KOI
I like your pond one day ill have one for my little guy
phil swift looking at this
You need flex seal bucko it works underwater too
Next time, try initially to contain the leak from the inside😉✨🙃

Flex tape is the best temp solve until its fixed
I think what made the cracks in the mirror was a shift in the earth's plates or an earthquake maybe?
As soon as I saw that crack I thought *SMACK* flex tape
how the hell does such bullshit only happen to youtubers???
What if you just put a container on the ground to hold the water and put a tube that suck the water back to the pond. 😂
Flex tape!
It even works underwater!😊
