You forgot to mention something very important, and that's how you can unlock secret packs just to grab the free pulls. Eventually you're luck will kick in and net you an ultra rare to either keep or de-craft.
Idk why but my luck in opening secret packs is so bad compared to the selection pack lol
Man I wish they release more good secret packs like the branded ones, although pulling from it hasn't gone well for me.
I remember grinding out the entire solo mode I somehow managed to only get 7 nadir servants and 3 mirrorjades
Despia Darklord and Swordsoul are the first new secret packs after they released the game. I believe Alba Abyss is also the earliest newly added secret pack in the game too. You can see they're a very good secret pack and very worth buying. But look at the newest secret pack now, the new archetypes have too many UR and only a few SR or lower. So, Konami needed something to fulfill the quota for the N/R part, and then they decided to mix every new pack with a "half-cook" archetype too. In early Master Duel, if an arctype has 4+ URs, they usually make it as a secret pack for a single arctype. But for new secret packs, we can see Labrynth, Scareclaw, R-Ace, etc. already have 4+ UR but Konami still mix the pack with bad filler.

Also, I check on MDMeta and there are still 250+ UR/SR cards without secret pack. Konami better to add them to the newest secret pack, than mixing a new artype with arctype that already have a secret pack. Also, some cards from Legacy should have a secret pack. Because it is unfair when entire deck is only accessible from Legacy like Penguin.
I wish i watched this before i was trying to pull scareclaw archetype, got useless x-saber cards only 2 ur from scareclaw... In conclusion dont make my mistake and only open secret packs with one archetype.

Secret packs are a downright scam either take a chance with new archetype when its still in Selection pack form or totally avoid building that deck/craft cards instead

rikka, lab, purrely, sstenyi are all top tier for me.
ive opened lab on 2 accounts and never had a problem not getting them.
ive opened branded with 8k gems on SO many accounts and never get enough that im comfortable keeping the account.
not all URs are same rate. i opened mannadium box and got around 40 ringowurm(i think it was him) and less than 5 visas starfrosts. rolling a UR is rolling a separate table, not a 1 in how ever many URs there are
i just make a new account for every deck. i can turbo 4 accounts at once, if i get master and still want to play, i have 3 more accounts, and the 7k+ gems from the new account is kind of over powered.
i also come from osrs so im used to multilogging. ill play runescape and 2 duels at the same time if ive had enough caffeine.
Konami ruined all secret packs and they only want u to play meta to take money out of ppl s pocket
