I like to make small stories from my games, heres the most recent stellaris game i played from the pov of my empire. (Im going to do this every time I finish a game and in different styles) I am called the Nexus Directive, a gestallt conciousness, I am a machine empire, and here is my story. If i knew my creators I would have liked to thank them, they gave me life on this shattered ring. I learnt, I explored, I found a great work I call a quantom catapult. Evetually I lost contact with these silicon life forms, were they silicon? I sent envoys to find out who killed them, and found the Prikki Ti. Within four months, they had declared total war. During this time i had been building up my defensive stations as to my lack of fleet capabilities. I knew it was not enough, so i sent a colony ship to the furthest habitable planet i could. It wasnt far, barely ten systems away from my capital. By the time i started to colonise the planet my Homeworld was being bombarded, I felt the agony of 90 percent of my population and processing power be removed from existence. leaving me with only five drones left, they pushed further into my territory. But this time I was ready, I had amassed a fleet worth 1k and a starbase worth 2.5k. I defeated their fleets but was unable to push back, my fleet destroyed. They pushed for a status quo and I took it as fast as I could. Now came the first age of stagnancy. I was unable to expand or do anything, how could I? My processing power was down to 18 percent and my empire split in half. My metal body felt cold, and I was cold. My first possible friends squashed like the bugs the Prikki Ti considered them to be. for almost ten years I done nothing, could do nothing. The Prikki Ti had taken everything from me, I swore to take everything from them! But... my first friends, they came back! A different name than before but they were alive and there were others! I traded materials, shared knowladge and signed a defensive pack against the Prikki Ti. Once again I began to expand, dormant ships awakening with new life at my joy. A new age of hope. Despite expanding and collanising again I knew the threat of the Prikki Ti could not be forgotten. I focused building defences where I needed them most, the galactic south of my empire. There were over 10 habitable worlds for me to expand despite my previous asessment of the galaxy being mostly devoid of life. But again, the Prikki TI attacked me and my ally. Their ships came and this time I was ready! But they only took one of my systems before going to fight my ally. I saw my chance, when I comfirmed they were on the other side of their empire I attacked, reclaiming lost systems. I had to stop once I took five systems back though, their fleets were returning, so I built up the defences in the systems i had taken. We won that war and gained our dignity back. Then I expanded to almost own a quarter of the galaxy. I thrived, built partnerships with new empires and amassed a great deal of wealth. Things were looking up for me, but the Prikki Ti were always there sending me insults and attacking my ships whenever they could.
