From the loop in the picture, it looked like it would slide over a belt. I know a lot of the tails are made to slide on like that, too.
I've played with the idea of a fur suit for several years. I had intended to make at least head, paws, tail and feet for my old martial arts dojo's symbol. I made a more cheesy version of the ears and tail for fun, to wear at informal events, but the dojo's name got changed.
Not really into the Furry Scene, either. Just like the idea of the costume.
