There won’t be a class action lawsuit. That manipulation angle might work if you were playing cod for money or something tangible, but since you don’t play for money or anything in a public match you’re not losing anything. A class action lawsuit is only for people seeking monetary damages the defendant is accused of causing. You losing in a cod lobby because of SBMM doesn’t affect you monetarily at all. So there’s no ground for a class action lawsuit. Game does suck ass, but releasing a bad game isn’t a crime.

Now, is it a ridiculously shitty business practice for multiplayer? Absolutely. Illegal? No. You can't even get them for PTW because the premade weapons in paid bundles are available in game for free.
We need XDefiant more than EVER right now. I am 37 years old and been playing CoD since the beginning. This is the first CoD game that I have not purchased, although I only played MW2 (2022) for about a month before I was defeated by match manipulation. I am SO glad that I didn't buy and love to see the updates through your videos, reassures me even more that I made a good decision.

I am 38 and have been playing since original MW and the last few years the match making such bullshit, I have around a 2KD and some of my friends wont even play with me because they say the lobbies are so hard when playing with me its not fun. They go play without and say it so much easier. It’s such BS that we cant play with friends anymore because of SBMM at the end of day we want to just play casual with friends and bull shit around but every match feels like a MLG championship match.
23 years old. My first multiplayer cod game was Cod2 back in 2005, playing with my dad. Vanguard and MW3 are the only two games I have no intention playing. CW and MW2 were dead to me in weeks

Never forget that it's NOT SBMM, it's EOMM (engagement optimized matchmaking) and this system is designed specifically to profile and *psychologically abuse* you in the hope that it keeps you playing and gets you to buy $20 skins off the store.

Not really, at the end of the day, stupid people will always buy this shitty game. At this point, the best thing we can all do is just abandon ship. This game is a lost cause and trying to fight against activision and their shitty practices is like shouting underwater. Sorry to say this, I would love to have people boycott the game, but as long as the devs dangle keys in front of people, nobody will ever fully leave.
@@rhatala27 It's not 100% trash. The multiplayer was pretty good... after the bug fixes and shit. The campaign was also pretty good as well. MWII is when things really started going down hill, though we all know CoD went downhill as soon as Vanguard.

TBH, the issue with absolute trash random players has been going on for a LONG time in CoD. I distinctly remember running into that constantly as late as Black Ops 3. For years now the only hope I've had for consistent wins in multiplayer was to squad up at least 5 deep. But yeah, I'm with you on hoping that Microsoft taking over Activision will lead to a toning down of SBMM/EOMM in casual lobbies, and a return to "ping is king". I miss the days of seeing tons of 704 clan tags, that meant I was playing against fellow NC players. It felt more like a community back then.
I love how people still think SBMM protects "casual" players. I am a casual that would play cod for 24 hours straight when given the proper substances. SBMM DOES NOT help or protect me.
Casual here. MW3 I can't even run and gun. Spawn in, get killed. Spawn in, run or even peak around the first corner I get beamed. Spawn in, get one kill, change position and instantly get killed.
Honestly I dont think you are casual now. What we consider casual isnt actually the average casual player. Look how many people watch these SBMM videos, look how many comments, then look at the amount of players playing these games. I 1000% beleive the casual player now is somebody that never watches this side of youtube cod content, they watch their favourite streamers shilling the game, turn on their xbox and post up somewhere on some box. ANY amount of movement as you say "rush" is absolutely outside of the "casual" playset. Activision knows all this, its why they keep average speed stats on players as an example. You are not their target auidence and infact you are against their target auidence why is why they make your life hell so you will get off their game and allow their protected bambies a safe controlled playing expierence. Every time you try and beat their system you are potentially making some bambie turn off their game, this means they wont go to the shop and buy more skins.

@@silentgodess1234lobby disbanding is directly tied to SBMM. SBMM existed in the older cods, but the introduction of lobby disbanding in MW2019 allowed them to crank it to 100 and manipulate SBMM like they never used to. If they remove lobby disbanding, that’s 1 step towards classic cod matchmaking

I had something weird happen during an MP match on Derail earlier today. The gamer tag was FoGxGir and this person just walked, and I mean JUST walked, no sprint or tac sprint, around the map. They also never killed anyone or even fired their gun. They came right up to me like 4 times and it was a free kill for me every time. The way they moved around the map looked like BOT pathing, very robotic, and had no game sense at all. They never seemed to react to anything around them. Also, the rest of the enemy team wasn’t very good either, but at least they shot at and killed me a few times. The enemy team was comprised of ‘little Timmys’, and what I’m 90% certain was a freakin’ BOT, and my team had all decent, to good players, myself and one other especially since the two of us went above a 3 K/D that game and the rest of them were either kissing, or broke, 2 K/D. It was really bizarre.

I'm in Australia and the other night I ended up playing 3 maps back to back to back that had me playing lobbies from Mars, the ping was over 600. I very rarely get local lobbies, always with the hackers and those Chinese BOTS.
I totally agree about the “shadow banned” lobbies. Here is my story about SBMM. I bought MW19 and tried my ass off. Same in Warzone. Mega sweat with a 2.0kd in MW19 multiplayer and still holding a 1.7 in Warzone. I hated SBMM so much I didn’t buy cold war or vanguard. But I still tried very hard at Warzone. I’ve been playing competitive FPS games in tournaments online and IRL for almost 20 years. I’m a naturally gifted FPS player. Halo, CoD, BF, Rainbow6 My lobbies on WZ the last 4-6 months have been absolutely brutal. Every 3rd game I’m getting killed by an obvious cheater will wallhacks. I’m an Xbox player but my lobbies are almost completely filled with PC players. I only bought MW3 because I just had knee surgery and I’m stuck inside. All my IRL friends hate playing Warzone with me because of my insane demon lobbies so I made a new account and the lobbies were immediately better. Not easy, I still died and we lost games but I feel like I’m playing against good human players instead of hackers. So now I’m playing MW3 and the same thing occurs. I play on my main account and I get killed by everyone because they know EXACTLY where I am at all times. And every lobby is majority PC players while I’m on Xbox. But when I play on my new account the lobbies are toned down, just a little. I’m still playing against good players but not inhuman robots. Today I got on my old account and played 2 games of FFA and my lobby was entirely PC players. Last night I played with my IRL friend on my new account and we played 20 or so games last night and I think we only lost 2. Every game was very close, the other teams were GOOD but not impossible to kill and I wasn’t lagging like I do on my old account. I’m now 100% convinced my old sweat account is in a different shadowbanned bracket of hackers and elite counterstrike PC gods and my new account is just matching me up with other good console players. I’m not “stomping” new players either. I’ve won a ton of games on this new account so SBMM has put me into good lobbies but not quite in that extreme shadow realm lobby. We’ll see how long it takes SBMM to put me back into PC dominated lobbies
It is crazy I’m a 4kd gigachad in warzone where sbmm can’t be as strict due to large lobbies, long games, and short queue times. But good god in mp where small lobbies make it easier to crank up sbmm it’s atrocious. It’s blatantly obvious I get fed a bot lobby every few games. I’ll go 50 and 5 get all my streaks twice and absolutely dump on the enemy team. Then next 4 games I have to fight for my life just to go neutral or barely positive because I’m paired up against CDL teams. They want us to have fun just enough to keep playing.
I made a tweet a few days ago with a screenshot of the scoreboard of a match i played. HC TDM, top of board for both teams, i went 41-19 We lost. We lost by like 10-15 points. Why? I was the only person on my team to even break 20 kills. The other people on my team were about 12 to 15 kills. Meanwhile the enemy team, the top 3 people were at minimum 20 kills. Even the guy at the bottom of their team had more kills than the guy at the bottom of my team. I'm so fuckin sick and tired of being out into games where I'm the only one doing good on my team, but the entire enemy team is nothing but solid players who actually know what they're doing. Why the fuck do have to get punished with a loss because I'm the only person on my team with more than 4 brain cells? It's not fair and it makes me not even want to play the game. Why bother if I'm just gonna lose over and over again.

Honestly even if sbmm isn't taken away just make it more fair, the idea of sbmm is for fair matches at it's core where there isn't always insane stomps of matches. Not the sbmm we have now where it decides when it wants you to win or lose for player retention apparently. Honestly Activision would make more money if they at least listened to feedback and talked to us. Its good for business and we are happy. You can't satisfy everyone but try at least it doesn't feel like Activisions not trying as a whole. The people who are punished the most is solo players like me

Completely agree that they're messing around with all sorts of parameters based on skill. The amount of times I shoot at someone, who's not even shooting back, and my gun is going left to right like crazy. I have to go and shoot a wall to double check and what a surprise barely any recoil.

So the problem with the plane is the problem I’ve been talking about for years, our character models have been getting bigger and bigger and everytime they remaster a multiplayer or zombie map they don’t upscale it to match the bigger player models lol

At the beginning of the video, you will see BT get stuck on a pole in the store. I have had that same issue on terminal. It was frustrating because i got killed because I couldn’t move for like a second or two. I don’t know why thats an issue still.

That barrier in the library always has me STUCK and it always gets me KILLED and I’m always fucking HEATED when it happens lmao oh and their scaling for the maps are jacked up because you can’t even jump through most windows😂 your player hits their head. When I play with my friend in his lobbies, packet burst doesn’t happen as often, if at all BUT if I dare to play fucking solooooo, I will packet burst EVERYTIME I aim in on someone!!
Speaking of stuck, I ended up getting stuck on the rope that is dropped down by the plane at the start of a quarry match. If you are on the team that spawns near 'A' flag and you start in the right back of the arrangement, you can't move forward!!!!!! WTF

I saw this shit on reddit last night. I was cracking up, but also smiling feeling something I never, EVER typically feel at my age; hope. TBH, the issue with absolute trash random players has been going on for a LONG time in CoD. I distinctly remember running into that constantly as late as Black Ops 3. For years now the only hope I've had for consistent wins in multiplayer was to squad up at least 5 deep. But yeah, I'm with you on hoping that Microsoft taking over Activision will lead to a toning down of SBMM/EOMM in casual lobbies, and a return to "ping is king". I miss the days of seeing tons of 704 clan tags, that meant I was playing against fellow NC players. It felt more like a community back then.

Honestly I dont think you are casual now. What we consider casual isnt actually the average casual player. Look how many people watch these SBMM videos, look how many comments, then look at the amount of players playing these games. I 1000% beleive the casual player now is somebody that never watches this side of youtube cod content, they watch their favourite streamers shilling the game, turn on their xbox and post up somewhere on some box. ANY amount of movement as you say "rush" is absolutely outside of the "casual" playset. Activision knows all this, its why they keep average speed stats on players as an example. You are not their target auidence and infact you are against their target auidence why is why they make your life hell so you will get off their game and allow their protected bambies a safe controlled playing expierence. Every time you try and beat their system you are potentially making some bambie turn off their game, this means they wont go to the shop and buy more skins.

@@silentgodess1234lobby disbanding is directly tied to SBMM. SBMM existed in the older cods, but the introduction of lobby disbanding in MW2019 allowed them to crank it to 100 and manipulate SBMM like they never used to. If they remove lobby disbanding, that’s 1 step towards classic cod matchmaking

I had something weird happen during an MP match on Derail earlier today. The gamer tag was FoGxGir and this person just walked, and I mean JUST walked, no sprint or tac sprint, around the map. They also never killed anyone or even fired their gun. They came right up to me like 4 times and it was a free kill for me every time. The way they moved around the map looked like BOT pathing, very robotic, and had no game sense at all. They never seemed to react to anything around them. Also, the rest of the enemy team wasn’t very good either, but at least they shot at and killed me a few times.
The enemy team was comprised of ‘little Timmys’, and what I’m 90% certain was a freakin’ BOT, and my team had all decent, to good players, myself and one other especially since the two of us went above a 3 K/D that game and the rest of them were either kissing, or broke, 2 K/D.
It was really bizarre.

I'm in Australia and the other night I ended up playing 3 maps back to back to back that had me playing lobbies from Mars, the ping was over 600. I very rarely get local lobbies, always with the hackers and those Chinese BOTS.
The last CoD convinced me there is Skill-based-hit-reg and I won't deal with that. I'll never buy another CoD again.

I totally agree about the “shadow banned” lobbies. Here is my story about SBMM.
I bought MW19 and tried my ass off. Same in Warzone. Mega sweat with a 2.0kd in MW19 multiplayer and still holding a 1.7 in Warzone.
I hated SBMM so much I didn’t buy cold war or vanguard. But I still tried very hard at Warzone. I’ve been playing competitive FPS games in tournaments online and IRL for almost 20 years. I’m a naturally gifted FPS player. Halo, CoD, BF, Rainbow6
My lobbies on WZ the last 4-6 months have been absolutely brutal. Every 3rd game I’m getting killed by an obvious cheater will wallhacks. I’m an Xbox player but my lobbies are almost completely filled with PC players.
I only bought MW3 because I just had knee surgery and I’m stuck inside. All my IRL friends hate playing Warzone with me because of my insane demon lobbies so I made a new account and the lobbies were immediately better. Not easy, I still died and we lost games but I feel like I’m playing against good human players instead of hackers.
So now I’m playing MW3 and the same thing occurs. I play on my main account and I get killed by everyone because they know EXACTLY where I am at all times. And every lobby is majority PC players while I’m on Xbox. But when I play on my new account the lobbies are toned down, just a little. I’m still playing against good players but not inhuman robots.
Today I got on my old account and played 2 games of FFA and my lobby was entirely PC players. Last night I played with my IRL friend on my new account and we played 20 or so games last night and I think we only lost 2. Every game was very close, the other teams were GOOD but not impossible to kill and I wasn’t lagging like I do on my old account.
I’m now 100% convinced my old sweat account is in a different shadowbanned bracket of hackers and elite counterstrike PC gods and my new account is just matching me up with other good console players.
I’m not “stomping” new players either. I’ve won a ton of games on this new account so SBMM has put me into good lobbies but not quite in that extreme shadow realm lobby. We’ll see how long it takes SBMM to put me back into PC dominated lobbies
It is crazy I’m a 4kd gigachad in warzone where sbmm can’t be as strict due to large lobbies, long games, and short queue times. But good god in mp where small lobbies make it easier to crank up sbmm it’s atrocious. It’s blatantly obvious I get fed a bot lobby every few games. I’ll go 50 and 5 get all my streaks twice and absolutely dump on the enemy team. Then next 4 games I have to fight for my life just to go neutral or barely positive because I’m paired up against CDL teams. They want us to have fun just enough to keep playing.

I made a tweet a few days ago with a screenshot of the scoreboard of a match i played.
HC TDM, top of board for both teams, i went 41-19
We lost.
We lost by like 10-15 points.
Why?
I was the only person on my team to even break 20 kills.
The other people on my team were about 12 to 15 kills.
Meanwhile the enemy team, the top 3 people were at minimum 20 kills.
Even the guy at the bottom of their team had more kills than the guy at the bottom of my team.
I'm so fuckin sick and tired of being out into games where I'm the only one doing good on my team, but the entire enemy team is nothing but solid players who actually know what they're doing.
Why the fuck do have to get punished with a loss because I'm the only person on my team with more than 4 brain cells? It's not fair and it makes me not even want to play the game. Why bother if I'm just gonna lose over and over again.

Not the sbmm we have now where it decides when it wants you to win or lose for player retention apparently.
