Snowboarding with my 7 year old at Sunshine Village (her first time ever!)

Scarlett has never been snowboarding in the mountains before. We have been working on some basic skills at Winsport in Calgary for the past couple seasons, but I figured it was about time to get her out to the actual mountains.
I also knew she'd have a lot to say, so I stuck a Rode Wireless Go II lav mic in her jacket pocket and filmed with my iPhone 13 Pro and Insta360 One X2.

Matt, I am so grateful that the UA-cam algorithm recommended this for me. Scarlett shows real confidence and has clearly had a great teacher! Unfortunately, this past winter in Nova Scotia didn't inspire my family to get out skiing/snowboarding, but I did get Meghan, Gabriel, and Isabella out for a day of snowshoeing. Glad the vid made it through the UA-cam gauntlet and found it's way to your screen Nick! Scarlett is finally starting to link her turns this year but I can't take credit for that as we put her into a few lessons and her coach was able to make it "click" for her after my failed attempts for the past few seasons. Haha! Hopefully next winter will be a little better for snow conditions in N.S. so your fam can enjoy it. I saw that snowshoeing video. Looked like a great time.
