FUCKING HELL I WAS SEARCHING FOR THIS SONG FOR AGES!!!!! Heard it like 7 years ago and then forgot about it till today...... Thank you whoever you are!!
+Gildas P It's paradoxical, but imagine you can't remember the name of something, but could remember the sound or image clearly. Hard to search for that through text-based means. I've looked for songs and flash games based on only memories of the senses; I've been successful, too.
Whether it's good or not to certain people, it's awesome to see so many people paying tribute to this song by making covers. It just goes to show how many people love this series! I can't complain about that!
my mind-movie for this track is somehow having all the playable characters throughout all the games together at once battling Dracula, Death, Carmilla, Olrox, Galamoth, and a massive horde of monsters.
This is from "Perfect Selection: Dracula Battle" , there are two albums with covers from castlevania. The uploader, who is an asshole, did not added this info.
Right on! It was first released in 1994 on "PERFECT SELECTION DRACULA BATTLE" (part I) and then again in 1996 (I think with a slightly different drum track) on "PERFECT SELECTION KONAMI BATTLE the BEST". vgmdb.net/album/552, vgmdb.net/album/865
Correct me if I'm wrong, but this is actually from one of Konami's official Castlevania remix soundtracks... I've loved this version of it for YEARS now. Who cares about "the best"? I'm just glad that there's so many damn amazing versions of Bloody Tears out there!
This is a song of an album made by Kouheiha club, (The band of Konami) Dracula Battle and Dracula Battle II. And this is incredibile mix of rock/metal/prog 4 Akumajo Dracula.
I have been looking for this cover for YEARS! I had it on my computer when I was a teenager (WinAmp player days, anyone?). So stoked I finally found it!
I love this version of the song. It's unique. This isn't a version that would ever be used in a Castlevania game, but it's only meant to be enjoyed. When was learning how to play guitar, this was the song I so badly wanted to learn how to play. So I did.
Gen Z will never understand how it felt like to find a song called Cradle of filth - Castlevania from limewire, download it for 2 days, not get a blue screen from opening the song and actually get this instead.
to the guy who posted this: yes, it is by far the coolest version I've heard. First I thought that the title was overhyped, but this arrangemant kicks ass! thank you
For one thing, it was on an official Konami arrange album called Perfect Selection: Dracula Battle. It's arranged by Naoto Shibata, and performed by his band Naoto Shibata PROJECT. There are 9 other tracks on the CD in the same hard rock style. Look it up - wikipedia, maybe. (P.S. This really isn't CoF's style anyways. . )
I don't argue with you on that statement. It did kick major ass, but this is from Castlevania 2 Simon's Quest. Fan favorite and one of the best ones out there.
This is a decent remix, I give it a 7/10. simply because its a remix, unlike some that claim its a remix, and just speed it up or distort the song a bit. The dude you seem to have been arguing with for half a year doesnt seem to understand what a remix is.
As long as this song is playing, i can slay everything with my little finger. Seriously. Theres nothing more Epic than this. I hope Zombie apocalypse comes while this is playing. gonna be a lot of fun!
This song is great and i respect the players as they have talent, but the main reason why many people hate this song with all their hearts (as seen by the comments) is because it's not as the real castlevania bloody tears go, the notes has changed and almost everything
I"ve listened to the entire remix done by this musician and it is really really great. Excellent prog jazz/rock tunes and a great distorted blues tune also. You should check it out.
I don't know but the song normally ends like 10 seconds after that anyway. The question, though, is... why is there are 3 minute of nothing? That's a big editing fuck up if I've ever seen one.
Now this is what im talking about! Finally a high quality version of this rock arrangment. After having lost it several years ago, i now have the mp3 on my ipod but it still doesn't quite sound as clear as this. BTW did it cut out @ 3:33 for anyone else? otherwise great upload.
For anyone else feeling nostalgic like me- here's a version in much crisper quality and without the 3 minutes of silence lol ua-cam.com/video/bRCfKoSgiJY/v-deo.html
The guitar tones and harmonics sound so much similar to The Black Mages! I wouldn't be surprised if it was them. I dont see the name anywhere. Does anywone know what band this is? The guitarist's lead playing remind me so much of the same exact guitar tone in Black Mages' Decisive Battle theme From FFVI ..
Nintendo doesn't own enough of the game to put it in a game like Smash Bro's. Castlevania Symphony of the Night is on the Xbox Live Arcade, and a new Castlevania is coming to the XBLA within the next month.
Well, so many people hating on it, but at least its a real remix. Most people attempt to make a remix, but either they just change the instruments and its the same song, or they kill it some other way. As for this, It isn't the best. Its decent, but thats about it.
14 years later its still the best mix!
14 years? It's way older than that. Try since 2000.
for real, Brazilian here 🇧🇷
14 years ITS way older tban that the saga es from 80s
Still the best^^
hands DOWN!
Three and a half minutes of awesome music.
3 full minutes of silence.

+MrRetlav So you searched for it while having forgotten about?
+Gildas P That's what had me baffled hehe :D

Or they just really like the song.
@@jonetgames Yeah. What I said.
The most epic bloody tears version.
my mind-movie for this track is somehow having all the playable characters throughout all the games together at once battling Dracula, Death, Carmilla, Olrox, Galamoth, and a massive horde of monsters.
You sir, understand the concept of cover.
My faith in humanity has been restored
Finally I found it! There's 1000 versions out there. This is the best by far!
This is from "Perfect Selection: Dracula Battle" , there are two albums with covers from castlevania. The uploader, who is an asshole, did not added this info.
Sounds like Deep Purple covers Castlevania songs hehe
Highway Tears :D
Exactly what I was thinking, great track
Indeed. Hahaha
Jajajajaja Great comparison
😀😀😀👍👍
At least put info about the author in the description.
this is from the album "Dracula Battle, perfect selection" can't remember if I or II.

What is Konami? Nothing but a miserable pile of corruption.
But enough talk, go save Kojima!
kkkkkk, but the Kojima exit of konami, sorry my english

when i found this remix i was like 'finally a good remix'
Still the best mix of internet on this day.
Depois de anos procurando, finalmente. Cara, não tem melhor
Perfect Selection version. Should be in the info. Most famous Bloody Tears cover I think.
The first 10 seconds of this song are incredibly epic and the music that most makes me think of castlevania
man o man !! i just cant get enough of this !! i have this as my ringtone even !! its super awesome !! love it !!
Gen Z will never understand how it felt like to find a song called Cradle of filth - Castlevania from limewire, download it for 2 days, not get a blue screen from opening the song and actually get this instead.
That's purely so you can soak-in all the essence of pure awesomeness that your eardrums have just received. You can't handle a full 6 minutes of this
2:30 when Trevor starts dual-weilding Vampire Killer and the Morning Star and goes HAM!!!

Nostalgia goggles, engage.
For Simon's Quest, just a friendly reminder
Thousandth like :)
This rendition sounds like it belongs as a battle them in one of the better Gundam series.
As long as this song is playing, i can slay everything with my little finger. Seriously. Theres nothing more Epic than this. I hope Zombie apocalypse comes while this is playing. gonna be a lot of fun!
I don't know what you people are complaining about. This mix is very original and well though out.
1.25 is the best ♪
I wish there was an 1.15 button or something but...
1:15

lol he meant 1.15 speed - there is 1.25 or 1.5 speed only in options.
You can use a chrome extension called "UA-cam Playback Speed Control" for different speeds.
or 0.75

Wow. Fantastic remix😎👑
Im with you on this one. Original in 8 bits and 16 bits are the real ones. And offcourse the orchestral version.
Love this album. I have this album on CD from back in the days. An original print.
this is fucking awesome
Some ‘Yes!’ vibes in the intro for me
Ahhhhhhh nostalgia
Best song to learn on electric !!!!

Oh man this is epic.
wow multiple eargasms ... if thats not a word it should be
Not bad, I usually don't listen to this type of music, but I enjoyed this.
This kinda gives me a Megadeth meets Castlevania Feel! I like it, I like it a lot!
Toujours au top pour rêver 💪💪
Preciosa cancion y mas a guitarra eléctrica...

I don't know but the song normally ends like 10 seconds after that anyway. The question, though, is... why is there are 3 minute of nothing? That's a big editing fuck up if I've ever seen one.
its probably to stop people from downloading the video even though you can edit the video to a certain point so the cut off is not there
Right? It's obnoxious as fuck when people pull that shit, old video or not.
this is good music for DOOM

Oh my God. This is probably the best version of this that I have ever heard. It's like my ears are being fucked by sound!
I used that song in mi own playlist inside of GTA SA, to listen when the pirsuits or chasing another villians in the game !! Coool
I have been searching this version for years (literally).
I heard it recently and immediately remembered the tune but couldn't pinpoint the name.
Judith the first time i heard this, it was in Killing Spree VI (6)
Blood on my tears Excellent
Naoto Shibata Project... LEGENDARY!
LMAO then you remember that this is from Simon's Quest! Just thinking about how epic this is in comparison to the game just cracks me up so hard!

This is good. But the Blood Tears version is in Netflix Castlevania series!
