UFC Fight Night 120. Matt Brown hit Diego Sanchez with an elbow so hard that the live broadcast cut out for a second the exact moment it happened. I think all the replays you'd find online show the whole thing though. I just remember when it was live, the cameras cut out right when he hit him.

Absolutely but granted the fight isnt over until ref stops it so I understand why they go all in.
Its hard when ur in the moment and you don't want too make a bad call that can cost you the fight potentially by letting them recover
Yea, I think everyone here males some good points. I guess the main thing is paying attention to that ref as well when you notice a change in the other fighter because you might be needing to let off the gas soon.

Yes that's the coolest K.O in UFC history and it's not even close, it was like a Street Fighter move, or something you would expect to only see in a movie, not in a real fight.

The match around the 3 minute mark is kind of infamous. The guy getting hit in the gut and grabbing at it was actually hit right on the liver. It's a notorious hit, because it floods your body with everything that the liver has been filtering out. It's incredibly painful. The other guy recognized it and lowered his guard to try and get the knockout only to be KO'd himself. For the first guy to take a liver shot and fire back hard enough to get the KO is pretty spectacular.
A year late but people don't realize how crazy that kind of Restance from that much Pain into a Knockout is Actually Mentally Insane. I've taken deadly Liver Shots and even though I withstood them the best I could do was Restance and Shell Up to find a Counterstrike. But even then I had to eat 20 to 30 seconds worth of Combo's while Bobbing, Weaving, Parrying, Redirecting them, etc.
To be able to just Nail One Back right off the the bat is something else. I'm a glutton for punishment and even I wouldn't be able to pull something like that off. Unless I felt like I was actually gonna die in that moment and every bit of Adrenaline and Endorphins flood my system to make me somehow ignore it somewhat.

We don't really know, but the black guy who knocked him out (Gary Goodridge), he himself has been knocked out a lot of times and, while CTE can only be diagnosed in an autopsy, it is clear that's what he has for all the times he got hit in the head. So the irony here being, the guy who won is the one known for having brain damage.
