TRIUMPH DAYTONA GEARBOX PROBLEMS

Back onto the builds,
back from the Northern Territory and back into it. this video is all about Triumphs.The 650cc engine build and a Daytona with gearbox issues.
Back to building Hagon in the next few videos and the 350 BSA build with Peter. I can't wait to get back in the shed.
We build and restore our bikes just like you , From swap meetings to our small back yard sheds to restore or modify to build the best bikes possible at a reasonable budget without breaking the bank.
I (Chris strahan) am a qualified motor mechanic with some self taught fabrication and machining skills. My father Alan Strahan is a qualified Fitter and Turner who specialises in Velocettes, He has lots of experience with other brands of motorcycles , this has been a huge help with all of our builds as you can imagine.

An old school mechanic always insisted having toilet roll cores over the alloy Triumph conrods to prevent damage. Great channel.

From watching your videos and a quick chat with Alan, I was able to rebuild the clutch on my Velocette. I am a complete novice and after some minor adjustment the clutch is working very well. Thank you both 🙏
