- Frothin’ for another BUILT video? No worries. Connor Fearon’s prototype Forbidden DH bike is an absolute bloody beaut. The small Canadian company have been quietly developing this DH bike over the last few years and are finally ready to go racing.
Connor is a true blue Aussie so it comes with no surprise that he is charged by a well-known Australian superfood: Vegemite. The yeasty, grease-like substance is choc a bloc full of the good stuff you need for going racing, so why not paint your bike to look the same? With Crankworx Cairns coming up its going to be a great opportunity for Connor to get on the bike, sink a few tinnies and enjoy a race a home for once. The frame will be available soon, but the paintjob? Mate, you’re dreamin’. This is a one-off.

The only thing more porno than the music in this video is the tache on Tom Selleck.
That second click of the torque wrench has exactly zero effect on the tightness of the bolt, it only wears out the wrench faster.
One click is enough. A torque wrench is not like BBQ tongs.

Nice bike, but this is got to be the most complex rendition of a high pivot frame that wants to be a single pivot. These type of bikes make alot of frame feedback noise.
Gimmick, that chain design was done back in 05, it sucked then it will suck now
Beauty!!! I just started riding a Dreadnought in August and absolutely love it. I call it the Dark Knight (ua-cam.com/video/Rp8hJU3ik9Y/v-deo.html). I might set it up as a dual crown next summer for Whistler.

@@maxm2096 Do you mean the chain guide/bashguard? yes I mean that! And don't understand what's better about it? And why do you do something like this that installs the additional sprockets?
It both guides the chain (keeps it from getting knocked off the chainring in rough terrain) and protects the chainring from impact if you bash it against the ground, a log, or a rock.
Would anyone here mind giving me any mountain bike parts? I want to construct a bicycle. Any component of a mountain bike can be useful.

That bb preload is way too tight. But I guess it goes well with factory grease in the chain, at least when it comes to power losses.

Most mechanics especially dh bikes will favor the tight side on things usually....
@@cagrowin1962 considering watts needed at the start/finish line sprint it's very weird way of doing things in sport where they are chasing 1/10seconds regularly.
@@jakubgabris6901 not weird, dh bikes are the hardset bike to keep parts on. No other class of cycling brings as much abuse as dh. There are no support vehicles on the dh track. Its just a mechanics mental insurance. When you wrench for top class riders, watts arent first in line as for as priorities
