How do I get a VAT number? It requires me to have one in order to post my video for UK distribution. Is there a way to opt out of UK distribution all together then? I don't even want to charge anything for my video.
I'm getting this codec problem message at the top of my screen when I try to upload my apple pro res 422 hq movie file. Not sure why. This the codec when I look up the info on my file: Timecode, Apple ProRes 422 HQ, Linear PCM. Any Ideas what is going wrong? I created my file from Final Cut Pro. Codec information for .mov files Mezzanine file: When submitting a mezzanine with the .mov file extension, please make sure it uses a ProRes 422 HQ video codec. We support AVC/H.264 codecs with .mp4, .m2t, and .ts file extensions.
@@BlankCanvasIndieFilms What I found out is, I had to upload an MP4 instead. Me and another filmmaker couldn’t upload a ProRes file. They say they take ProRes and they have in the past, but they’re not accepting it. So might have to go MP4. Sorry man. But it worked for me. And the picture still looks great.
When I am trying to add my video, I only get two options - Buy and Rent. I don't have the "Prime" option. Is there a different account needed? I am not sure why this is happening. Please help
Hi! Wanted to ask you something. I uploaded the video on amazon prime but it was rejected because '' Content licensing guidelines - Licensing rejection: Your title wasn't selected for licensing to Prime Video. All content submitted through Prime Video Direct is licensed at the sole discretion of Amazon. All review decisions are final and this title may not be resubmitted or appealed. '' Is there a way to find out if my title is going to be approved before I send it to them to review it ? And what should I follow as rules so they will accept my title? Any tips about choosing the right title? I cannot understand from the info they have on the website. Thank you.
Hey! I have made a short film, and I want to upload it to Amazon Prime Video. But, I didn't know you had to have captions. Can I ask, how do you upload these captions? If you need a professional video editing software, I'm screwed. I didn't use Adobe Premier Pro or anything like that, I used iMovie and Windows Video Editor. My film is just an 8 minute long animated film that I made for a school project, and the only reason I want to upload it to Amazon Prime Video, is so that my extended family and my friends can see it. Any help would be massively appreciated, Callum.
At 8:07 While selecting the availability section, I only get an option to select buy or rent. and do not get an option for Prime, please help
For the captions for the music you could have it say the name of the song at the start of each song

??? If you have a video already published to Video Direct, is there a way to go back in and add the trailer to that episodic title?
Can you do this with a show that has four or five or more episodes?
