The pre-roll > 2s means that there should be nothing besides a black frame that should appear within 2 seconds before your logo/movie starts. Burned-in subtitles mean like subtitles that are embedded into the movie file itself. And the captions being not in sync means that the captions are out of order and don't appear in the right timing, which can be seen if you preview the movie with captions on.

Hi Aaron, I did this so long ago and the timeline maybe off, I remember it wasn’t really up to us. It was more like whenever filmhub decided to do it, as our films become qualified. Then we just get a notification that when it’s on the platform.
Burnt up dozens of hours submitting and re-submitting artwork to Filmhub; Filmhub i arcanely picky with the artwork, insisting not only on dimensions but resolution as well (the latter not mentioned in their specs). I've given up trying with Filmhub until/unless the image submission process is more mechanized and standardized.

I'm not a professional filmmaker and I know people who do this for a living - those people often (or almost always) to through film festival. Given covid, and honestly it's never been easy for festivals. Lots of fees, wait-time, before you can do anything with your film. Unless you have a really good reason, I'd say self marketing and release are best. I'm more in the creative business side than to make a living selling films. I am working on a docuseries. I have two episodes complete and will be starting pre-production this summer. The first one was completed two years ago and I don't want it to sit around too long. Do you suggest I wait for all 3 episodes for a series or submit the first and maybe the second one as individual title?
Thanks for your insightful videos. What resolution of movies does TUBI accept? I uploaded 4K to filmhub but it was declined by Tubi, but on Amazon prime. Does tubi require 1080p files uploaded separately?
Hi Anthony, if I can be frank, I don't find any of the film publishing platforms (including Amazon) to favor payouts for creators. Instead, I urge all creators to think about engaging their own community, selling direct. Filmhub and Amazon and everywhere else only works if you are big and maybe huge creator, millions of downloads and watch time, otherwise it's pennies and dimes, etc.

They lie about the money they are not transparent and right now I'm in the process of hiring an attorney because there's money missing and they refuse to respond to emails. This company will eventually go down just like distribber did by doing these tactics

I spoke with other experienced filmmakers, some say Filmhub taking 20% is still too much. I don't do this for living so my intention is to get on as many platforms as possible, I also want to avoid distributors. It depends on your needs

@@peterhitchcock3486 Hi Peter, recently Filmhub reached out to me requesting 4K videos. It took me a while since I launched the project a year before! I think it's a good sign. When in doubt, you can contact their customer service team, they are quite responsive and helpful.
How do you set up Film Hub with more than one partner and distribute proceeds accordingly? On our project there are two equal owners.
I'm having the issue of Filmhub asking for the trailer language. But it's not giving me that option to add it.

Get someone else to do your artwork who is a professional and knows the proper specs.
