- Mototec 48V 1600Watt DirtBike Unboxing/Build!// Today I'm putting together the Motoec 48V dirtbike! I got this bike for my boy who is turning 9 and loved my Sur Ron and decided he wanted his own electric bike. The instructions for this were pretty vague, so I just kind of went with what seemed right. CJ has rode this Mototec a little bit now and it definitely has plenty of power for him! Add some rtv silicone on the wires going into the motor the factory silicone isent worth anything and if water gets in you’ll need a new motor, just a heads up 👍🏻 been there done that.

If you've never done wheelies drag your feet and hit the brake when you have a balance point and you'll work it, find the spot and then put one foot on and try it, don't try to do too much at once keep practicing before you know it you'll have balance down with both feet on the Peg's

7:35 I got this exact bike as well....Did you ever figure what this was for? Today my charge port sparked and smoked and is now broken. Not sure why they gave us this part?

Would you recommend replacing a battery for it?
Are you saying replacing it for a different battery? Honestly my boys have only rode these bikes a few times and have only had to charge the bikes twice haha, so I don’t know a whole lot about the batteries.
Electric & Co on Google you'll find them they have everything bigger motors
Where did you purchase it to get that color?
Is it large enough for 5"8 140 pounds adult?
I have seen adults ride them. I’m guessing rear spring may be a little soft feeling, but would probably hold up alright!
That’s exactly what I weigh I just tightened the rear spring until it felt good for me now it feels better hitting jumps

Where did you get it from?
Electro & company you can buy just a new controller of full throttle and off and on switch with voltage, you keep your battery and you can go 10 miles an hour faster it says check it out on your own just letting everybody know that doesn't know about electric company everything fits right in place they started with the little razor.
Thank you! I believe we’re actually having issues with the throttle now! Battery charger reads like it’s fully charged, battery and motor both seem to work, but the battery gauge on the throttle won’t read over two bars, and the throttle will just randomly cut out
@@DRGOAT it's $649 for that kit you can keep your own battery but now it sounds like you're having battery problems you can check out your battery with those m they have see how high it goes I guess I don't know about that stuff
@@DRGOAT I forget the name if it's just a battery meter to check how many volts you're getting out of your battery I just got mine I only road it a couple of times, well good luck with it have fun I just got it to practice Wheelies mostly
Do you know why my screen for the percentage of the charge isn’t working??
I’m honestly not sure. My boys have only rode the bikes maybe 5 times total and we haven’t had any issues. I’ll try looking into it a bit though!
Electric scooters are nice but I much prefer the electric scooters much better. The scooters are more versatile rides. Especially for city riding.
It says the seat height is 27 in it doesn't look like it it looks smaller

If you’re talking actual wire, im not sure. If you’re talking about the two adjustments knobs, when sitting on the bike the top speed is adjusted by the right knob and the left adjusts the throttle response
