Make sure you wear gloves you go down your gonna wish you had them on natural reaction is to brake your fall with you hands and you don’t want your palms to be missing a lot of skin r and a helmet also I know you might not think you may need one but it’s always good to be better safe then sorry. Hey Brandon, after talking with you and others I have decided to get the b1 bombmoto battery because of the bigger capacity and the e&c little bit trumoto controller kit. Does this sound like a decent option and I will be keeping the stock motor

    • @EmxBrandon
      @EmxBrandon  7 місяців тому

      Is this for a mototec or bombmoto? If your talking about the stock mototec motor i dont think e&c will send the little bit controller tuned for that motor. The description says they only support the my1020+, ec4p, and etm v2 motors.

    • @terryfrome1641
      @terryfrome1641 7 місяців тому +1

      @EmxBrandon it's for the mototec bike. Dang it just read that. I need a plug and play kit with minimal tuning, for my son. The battery for sure I want because of the size. What will work with the stock motor, or is it worth it to buy a new one.

    • @EmxBrandon
      @EmxBrandon  7 місяців тому

      @terryfrome1641 honestly i think the best plug and play kit would be the flipsky kit from e-force. They will help you through the process 100% and youll both be off riding with a smile ear to ear. And the b1 battery will be perfect with it too. If you want to spend the money on an etm kit, even though you hsve to swap in the etm motor, its also a very simple plug and play kit and wont require any tuning.

    How do you change the throttle

    • @EmxBrandon
      @EmxBrandon  5 місяців тому

      Youll need to buy a set of connectors and a crimping tool and learn how to use them. The throttle is simple you have 5v (red) and signal (usually green) and a ground (black) the signal wire on the stock controller is gray I think.
      The stock throttle also has 2 wires for the button that works the kill switch like the brake sensors, and 1 other wire that powers the green battery bar. You'll need to get a seperate bar mounted volt meter and hook that up to the indicator plug, black to black and from the volt meter red to the other color on the indicator plug.

      @geraldtucker7957 battery positive, the thick red wire next the the thick black wire that goes to the battery from thr controller. They are screwed down. If thats so then you wont be able to get a battery shipped to you over seas but you can still buy the controller kit for 500 just select none on battery and none on graphics unless you want the sticker kit. And then select which motor you have which is on the sticker placed on the motor. The kit without the battery is 500.
