    I'm 48 yrs old and like to many Americans I'm sick n tired of being sick and tired and over medicated. I stumbled across your name on Pintrest in a chat about colitis. So I thought, hmm can't hurt... all I can say is I'm both dumbfounded and highly intrigued bc I have just about every health issue you mentioned. I've been on disability since 2007 and it's just been one thing after another. Started with a massive herniated disk but soon after it was emergency surgery to have my gul bladder removed. Then a hysterectomy bc I had 13 and 11mm ovarian cycst. Then hydronephrosis and VUR. Now I find myself in a full blown colitis attack. I have also been diagnosed with DDD and DA. My thyroid swells all the time and causes me to sound like I'm a 90yr old man. I get Kaleidoscope vision really bad before a migraine and am convinced something is causing all these autoimmune issues. And my Dr. Of 32 years... what a joke anymore! If I can put all my issues together and see something is wrong why can't he? To think it could all be solved my cutting gluten out of my diet!? Well hell is worth a try.

      Cory MCGRATH It is pretty amazing what a change such as going gluten free can do, not just for health, but also for the way we feel! So glad you found a real lifestyle change that makes a difference! What is the biggest food you miss, though?

      Cory MCGRATH We have been making our gluten free pizza crust foe quite some time a have tried a few different recipes. We have landed on one we enjoy and it has grains. We are currently trying to make one completely grain free that isn't gross or crumbly! Have you ever tried to grill your pizza? If you are interested in our pizza crust with grains in it, I'd be glad to share the recipe.

      Western medical doctors don't know anything about diet. However, allopathic doctors do know.

    The big question: Can food sensitivities that randomly pop up be healed/cured/kicked?

    • @DrOsborne
      @DrOsborne  5 років тому

      Yes. But addressing a leaky gut is an important step in this process. Here is a video on that for you ua-cam.com/video/lC-sziIrA7E/v-deo.html

      @@DrOsborne Dr. Osborne, you're giving me hope. I need hope. I was under chronic stress all of last year after moving into my new home. I was taking antibiotics last year a bunch of times, and then in May of this year, I took one 500mg tab of Levaquin and suffered a reaction to it. Ever since that day, I've had sensitivities to gluten and dairy. I've been taking enzymes, Amy Myers protocol supplements, etc. But I've cheated a few times and that has set me back. It's just so emotionally hard. I've never ever ever had these problems before, and then after that one event - this happened.

    I have been treated for ibs-d for 3 long years also i took anxiety medicines for 2 years but my ibs has not gone yet and im taking lopamide daily . I feel weakness in my body every 2 or 3 days feels tired and irritation . Could that be gluten sensitivity?

    • @sandstorm8874
      @sandstorm8874 3 роки тому +2

      my ibs got so bad they sent me to a surgeon because they thought my gallbladder was about to pop. Turns out it didn't, so my family doctor suggested I cut all flour, dairy, fat and sugar for a couple of weeks to give my poor gut a break. About 50% of my regular problems resolved with that, so I kept a gluten free, dairy free, sugar free diet, and after a month or so like 90% of my problems went away. Anxiety, depression, ibs (with the bloating, diarrhea and constipation), gastritis, acid reflux, muscle pain, joint pain, sinusitis, dermatitis, bleeding gums, hypersensitivity to sensory stimuli, allergies went down to a tolerable level... and I realized I was anaemic and Very efficient in iron, so that took a little longer to resolve with proper supplements, but soon after I felt more energetic, my shortness of breath went away, my irritability dissipated, and my very heavy, long and painful menstrual periods got lighter and tolerable, and I stopped getting menstrual dysphoric syndrome which seriously made me want to delete myself from this word and I also couldn't stop crying.
      I started reintegrating things into my diet little by little and so I realized that it's dairy that gives me gastritis and ibs ( and many things related to that) and gluten is more sneaky because it takes longer to affect me and in more subtle Ways, but it depresses me and makes me fatigued and irritable, and my tummy gets bloated plus I get constipated, andalso I start feeling iron deficient. It's also the reason for my dermatitis and I think it causes inflammation because if I mix dairy with gluten, I become Very sensitive to dairy and it Makes my joints hurt a lot. All this is to suggest that to you try a gluten free diet for a couple of weeks, it's the easiest way to know if gluten affects you. It takes some time to get out of your system so be patient am drink lots of Water. But I hope after 10 months you already forgot about your problems and my suggestions are useless :)

      Yes. For those who have similar issues, just go wheat and gluten free for 72 hours and notice the difference in your health and mood.

    To me gluten sensitive and Celiac are the same...hurt the body in the same way. Blood tests biospies may not work to diagnose Celiac. Cyrex labs may help, but the best is to not eat gluten/hidden gluten (no food with a label) and see health issues disappear and weight be normal again. Osteoporosis/joints swollen/stomach pains/diarrhea or constipation if gluten hurt the thyroid. Gluten may hurt all glands. Skin issues ..... Acne on the skin maybe how the gut lining looks also. Painful periods/PMS/infertility. Headache/spasm of muscles. Diabetes/fibromyalgia/losing/depression/bipolar/Schizophrenia/ADD/ADHD/building up heavy metals since the liver may not work well due to gluten/tired/no energy to exercise/low sunlight/cancer/MS/dizzy/IBS/acid reflux/narcissism/codependent/abuse/alcoholism/drug use/no sleep/obsessing/anxiety/panic/PTSD/suicidal thoughts/eating disorders and more can be due to Celiac/gluten.

      So many conditions... really?

    • @Shasha8674
      @Shasha8674 8 років тому +2

      Yes...See the book Dangerous Grains...in the back they list Celiac health issues. When the intestines are not absorbing nutrients due to gluten hurting the intestines...then cells are not made right to work right and malfunction causing many health issues. Gluten may make antibodies to the thyroid and other glands may also get hurt. Gluten may cause cancer due to low oxygen in cells and low pH due to low nutrients absorbed. My MS is due to Celiac which causes low oxygen in my brain. Depression/anxiety/no sleep/panic/obsessing/suicidal thoughts maybe due to low oxygen in the brain also due to Celiac. People may heal fast when they stop gluten 100%..no hidden gluten etc.
