Hey thank you for posting this video. I am considering getting this laptop for school type usage. Can you tell me how you feel about the screen brightness, keyboard, webcam, sound, microphone, etc? Thank you again.
I like the laptop a lot. The screen brightness is good and I normally keep it at 70% brightness. The screen viewing is great at all angles. Keyboard and Touch pad are both comfortable to use. Webcam is only 720p, speakers and mic are good enough for Zoom calls. Laptop performance is fast with a intel i7-1255u processor.
Hello there I have a little question I have a model of this series (asus vivobook ff1502-ws51) it has an i5-1235u wich runs iris xe graphics but as the laptop has just 1 ram stick* it works as uhd graphics, but then I read that this series(at least the majority models) has 8gb of ram soldered on the motherboard, does this mean that I can buy another ram stick to activate the dual channel mode and run This iris xe graphics???if someone know that it'd be awesome.
@@The_Kitty_Games Thanks, and yes it worked, it was kind of new for me, was the first time I opened a laptop, and really hesitated about the ram, given that ASUS is not very clear with that, I mean there are some videos on youtube like yours, but I did not find my specific model, anyway, it worked.
Hi @nickscomputerfix, thanks!! Maybe you can help me about a problem with ram upgrade. I have an Asus x415ma laptop 4gb ram. According the manufacturer, this motherboard supports up to 8gb ram, and i made upgrade to 8gb ram, but the bios and system info still show only 4gb. A help would be great!!!
You might have a bad RAM slot, bad RAM stick, wrong RAM for your computer or RAM might need to be re-seated into the RAM slot. Also check to see if a BIOS upgrade is available too (sometimes this will correct RAM issues).
@@nickscomputerfix I tested with the Windows Memory Diagnostic Tool and found no defects. I also tried Cpu-z. Now I'm looking for the Bios update. I'll comment on the result when I have it. Than ks so much!!
its much better on the AMD as the 8gb is soldered and you get an empty ram slot for another 8gb for dual channel memory. On the intel models (eg 13500h), those have 4gb soldered and 4gb on the slot. Meaning you have replace the 4gb.

Are you using Windows 32bit or Windows 64bit OS? Windows 32bit only supports 4GB of RAM available.

what is the biggest ram memory that laptop can run?
I believe for this ASUS laptop the max RAM size is 32GB.
