Can't imagine the vibration that a flight crew experienced during a mission.

I’m sure there was some, but multi engine, piston engine aircraft have these things called “propeller synchronizers” which was a complex system that kept all engines running at the same RPM. Otherwise, the variations of the engine sounds would drive the crew insane.

The Crew at General Dynamics if FtWorth wanted to restore theirs to Airworthy BUT, the USAF wouldn't allow it cuz it was still considered to be a modern enough Bombing Platform to constitute a threat 😞

There very well may be arcane legislation somewhere that prohibits an individual for possessing a nuclear capable aircraft, but it wouldn’t surprise me if there is not. It is my strong opinion that the USAF denied the restoration to flight of 52-2827 because of liability. The USAF was very well aware of the complexity and extreme hazards of a B-36 flying outside the exacting supervision and knowledge of the USAF, and did not want to provide an explanation to the people of this country when the “warbird” B-36 crashed at an airshow (or worse) and killed hundreds of people. Everything has a line that shouldn’t be crossed, and I am grateful the USAF didn’t allow the B-36 to cross it.

Have you contacted Pima to see if they could send you the info from their example?
