"Fluctuations Part 2"
Yuji Itadori, a kind-hearted teenager, joins his school's Occult Club for fun, but discovers that its members are actual sorcerers who can manipulate the energy between beings for their own use. He hears about a cursed talisman - the finger of Sukuna, a demon - and its being targeted by other cursed beings.
Fun fact: playful cloud originally belonged to Toji, it was in his curse inventory. When Geto took that curse he took all the weapons in it including playful cloud. So it's actually cool how it went full circle and came back to Toji again.

Toji left his worm with weapons after dying -> Geto becomes his momma -> Geto killed by gojo in 0 ->
Gojo takes the worm and the weapons -> Probably all weapons are stored safe somewhere -> Gojo gives it to maki and now toji takes it back
Not to mention the compatibilty of that weapon with the likes of Toji and Maki. There's a reason why Gojo had Maki use the weapon even when the Zen'in family clearly didn't wanna give it to her.
Toji → Geto → Yuta → Maki → Toji
made a great comeback.
One of the few reactors that pay attention and remember things. Every other reactor is just watching for the hype scenes lol

Jujutsu Kaisen it's one of those series that, like Chainsaw Man or Hell's Paradise its authors tell you: “Who told you to get attached to these characters? Watch as I kill off your favorite characters in a way that doesn't give you time to process what just happened." It's cruel but groundbreaking for the current Shonen manga formula. The Big Dark Three indeed.
Good thing I watched Akame ga Kill. That show makes sure you love the character before killing it.
The fact the dark trio are all animated by mappa lmao. Tho i do hope hell's paradise gets more love from mappa. The manga was a bit too short and underwhelming imo. If they give it the jjk passion treatment and add/extend scenes here and there it'll be top tier. And the anime needs a better director cuz s1 has meh directing imo but animation was good.
It was great to see this finally animated and to see Sukuna again with his theme playing was so menacing...Sukuna cares about his appearance though: dusting himself off before waffling someone 😂

This is the episode where it feels like everything starts for real. I have that same anxious feeling I had reading these chapters.
There were some translation errors btw.
One of them is quite important so let me fix it.
When megumi said toji might be worse than sukuna,in the original text he only said it for his speed.So,he said "he might be even faster then or as fast as sukuna at the time"
Now its also 3 finger sukuna we are talking about.

The Playful Cloud that Touji used is worth 500 million yen. Maki said this in the anime. Touji sharpened something so valuable and turned it into a murder weapon (lol)
Toji sharpening Playful Cloud was so badass! I really felt Dagon was screwed this episode. God damn RIP Nanami Maki and Grampa Naobito 😭 im glad Mimiko & Hanako's deaths werent censored like i feared. They really nailed the Sukuna entrance, god i can't wait for the next episode!
I'm just happy that anime-only watchers finally could get why I was losing my mind during those chapters lol....

No one thinks about the fact that Toji and Maki couldn’t “see” curses since they have no cursed energy. Toji, eventually when Maki awakens as well, can see curses just because their other senses got heightened with the Heavenly Pact. Toji basically fought Dagon, in his own Domain, by just sensing the shit.

As a manga reader, I think the sub translations have not been nearly as good as the manga, some lines don't have much impact as one would hope. So let me give yo the lines given by the narrator when Toji showed up.
- "Those who inherited the curse of the Zenin clan (refering to Megumi and Naobito), the one who couldn't fully leave behind that curse (refering to Maki). THEY WOULD ALL BEAR WITNESS.. TO THE NAKED FLESH OF THE ONE WHO SET HIMSELF FREE, TO THE ONE WHO LEFT IT ALL BEHIND! AND HIS OVERWHELMING INTENSITY!!"
Sukuna is villain done right
Gojo was full of shit when he said he could take Sukuna. Sukuna at full power is implied to be outright superior to Gojo. But, then, who knows. We've yet to see either go all out.

Just to clarified bad translation about this episode
Don't take Megumi word about Sukuna seriously. As he basing him by 3 fingers worth of strenght(as Sukuna had 3 fingers when he fought Megumi in season 1).
So Toji might be worse (in the manga is fastest not worse) than Sukuna (3 fingers at that time)
But now with 15 Fingers, yeah you know about that.........
If you need someone to explain to you that Megumi was talking about the version of Sukuna he fought and not the current one he has no idea about this might not be the series for you.
