Are the new springs just to grab the belt better? Wash new belts in the dish washer to clean all the chemical off them.
the springs change the effective gearing. when the clutches come in, how they shift out etc. sort of like reprogramming the shift points in an automatic trans.

I only spent $29999 on my El diablo and I dont know what I would spend 10-15k on. You would have to spend alot more than 10 to 15k to get your Honda or Yamaha to perform like these. Thats like comparing a Volkswagon to a trophy truck.
