Aunt May and the MULTIVERSE of Madness is the PERFECT Spiderman Prequel

Mrs. Web is an unusual superhero movie that follows Aunt May before she had Spiderman. In this prequel, the three ghosts of Christmas visit Mrs. Web at different points of her life, and bestow the gift of chronomancy on her, allowing her to rapidly jump between different world-lines and realities. Each iteration compounds her psyche, and raises the background entropy of the multiverse. The movie is split into 3 anthology sections that are independent of each other. First up is the ghost of Christmas past, who explains to Mrs. Web that 400 years ago her great grandmother stepped on a spider and caused a butterfly effect in the future. The ghost of Christmas present shows Webby a few minor variants of her core world-line, one where she is a food critic, one where she is a concierge that parks other peoples cars, and one where she is a crazy cat lady. At this point, the entropy of the multiverse is high enough that Kronos, God of clocks, must make an appointment with death to track down and untangle the web. The ghost of Christmas future, later revealed to be trickster God Loki, imbues Webby with non-local-awareness, allowing her to concentrate on more than one thing at the same time. Kronos tracks her down and challenges her to an interpretive dance competition for her soul. Ultimately, Mrs. Web just has more rhythm, and traps Kronos in a pocket dimension where time doesn’t exist. Webby then goes for a relaxing swim when she has a bright idea. What if she pulled a butterfly effect-directors cut and went back in time to before she was born, and excised herself. In this final timeline, the three ghosts of Christmas now have Webby’s soul, and the entropy of the multiverse has been reset. Everyone lives happily ever after, and Kronos even gets married.
