A very relaxing watch! It's interesting to see you scrap a few design aspects and go for a completely different direction altogether while still drawing.
Love your work. I think I have purchased just about everything you have available on itch. I'm not sure when I will use any of it, but I am happy to support your efforts. Cheers buddy!
Yoo man I see your art it’s cool and amazing, I just got into pixel art myself and you influence me allot. I would appreciate if you someday did a step by step video thanks 😁
Those are some tasty pixels right there. Really just started firing off near the beginning, seems like you went in knowing what you wanted. Or at least how you wanted to make it. What were you doing around 3:32? Obviously you made a silhouette you could use to add a shadow using the multiply function. But what was your specific thought process? When it comes to rendering I still tend to do my shadows manually, but I've been meaning to mess around with more complex shading tactics. I've recently gotten into using the hue and saturation manipulator to quickly come up with more interesting colors for my character designs, but learning to use more of the functions built into Aseprite is probably a good idea.
Thanks for the kind words! And you kind of nailed it, just a more complex shading tactic. I often just do them manually which is often easy in pixel art compared to others but I like to experiment with things!
Really smart to use a larger pixel size to place those clumps that was genius! Btw in pixel art how do you multiselect a singular color like how to did early in the video with this color streaks everywhere or we're you just using a layer? I loved how it turned out thanks for the vid (:
Am I the only one who names my layers? I have watched so many pixel art timelapses and other stuff and no one names them, how do you people not lose track of layers
How do you add extra bits with the lasso tool whenever I try adding lasso bits it just starts a new selection /: edit:I FIGURED IT OUT! YOU JUST SHIFT CLICK THE PARTS YOU WANT TO ADDD
This was one of the most beautiful pixel art I've ever seen man you are great
Thank you so much!!! ❤️❤️❤️
