      @@Brandon-ob9rg You’re 100% correct, and in all seriousness, it’s all the more reason not to get into stupid fights. If you’re too old to run from 4 dudes, you’re probably too old to beat them with striking or grappling too. And then there’s the risk that some crazy guys are carrying weapons. Avoidance is always the best strategy.

    After hearing hundreds of real-life street fight stories that have actually taken place, I've come to conclusion that wrestling and boxing are the 2 best martial arts for street altercations. Wrestling for self-defense, boxing for self-offence. And if you have time to learn both of them together, well, than you'll be just destroying people left and right.

      @@anthoblalay6172 Believe it or not, MMA includes a lot more than just wrestling and boxing. Although looking at the world champions, sometimes it doesn't feel like that.

    I just kept getting rear bear hugged from a dude and couldnt break it so i came here. Lots of good details. Looks like he threw me a couple times cause i didnt keep my body down. And i didnt focus my hands to break his grip w intention nor use my thumb.
    A question on when you finally break their grip. Is it done in a gradual motion or is it accomplished w an explosive hip bump?

    What about rear bear hug when your arms are trapped? From a surprise attack.

    • @dannythorne7143
      @dannythorne7143 4 роки тому +1

      Do the butt bump explosively to create space and pivot immediately to try to face your attacker.it does take practice especially against a much larger and stronger opponent or attacker.

    hey I think you have an opportunity with your channel to grow financially through affiliate marketing. this is where you put links to gear in your description and the company's selling the gear give you money for doing so.
    Also, something that might help you to grow your subscriber and view count base could be putting your videos into organised playlist. a playlist for wrestling or stand up, a play list for guard, ect.
    just trying to help because I love your channel and I think you are a technical genius on the mat.
