Dunsfold Aerodrome. Home of the Harrier and BBC's Top Gear.

Dunsfold Aerodrome, the home of the BBC's Top Gear show, is a few miles from home. I thought I'd drop down to give you a glimpse. It isn't that active, and if there is no filming going on it is pretty dull.
They now have three 747s parked up on the aprons. I mentioned it to a bloke I know there and he laughed 'That's more than they have at Terminal 5!'
Interesting history though. The locals would love it to stay exactly as it is I think!

Fun Fact: if you’ve seen The Batman (2022) this is the area where they filmed the chase sequence between Batman and Penguin when Batman is trying to subdue penguin in to telling him information about the Riddler and where he is.

There are a load of businesses 'inside the gate'. I take my car and bikes for their MOTs there. There is a motorbike sales business there that you might want to visit.
