I remember the first time I got a secret boss, I played this game so many times and never even knew that was a thing. I think I was either Evil Ryu or Oni but when I got to the end and just saw the slash across the screen, scared the crap out of me. Of course got the hardest one(Oni) and proceeded to get flattened by him🤣.
Doing this on the hardest setting, you really get to see the advantages the ai has over players. Akuma has a very good crunch uppercut. Double air fireball, and super fast invincible raging demons. Gouken has double hit fireballs. And better palm strike. Evil ryu can cancel his teleport anytime. Can also combo into his raging demon. (example overhead to RD) bounce back after ultra fireball so he's harder to punish Oni bounces back after doing ultra fireball. Not sure what other advantages they have. Probably faster walkspeed. Feel free to add more to the list.
Shin Gouken's Kongoshin (parry) acts like his EX, so he doesn't have to spend meter to parry in all directions. His Senkuugoshoha (palm strike) goes faster and has Armor. His Gohadokens and Denjin Hadoken both start fully charged (gaining no benefit from manual charging).

@@rayzeckz4573 Evil Ryu is Ryu being influenced by the Satsui no Hado, he is still Ryu, but a violent, dangerous version of himself that COULD kill people, and Kage is Downright Ryu completely being controlled by the Satsui no Hado, Evil Ryu is Ryu trying his best to control the dark power bestowed upon him but failing, Kage his him just letting himself go and becoming a complete Demon, he is literally another Oni basically, but as well Kage is Weaker than Denjin Ryu, there isnt a Shin Evil Ryu yet, but that would be cool, a Ryu that trained under the Satsui no Hado to perfectly control it.

I remember back in like 2016-2018, I was just playing as Sakura, and *_somehow_* I fulfilled the Akuma requirements, I was so confused, I was like *_YO WHY THE F ARE YOU HERE WHAT I DO???_* (I had no Idea how this could even happen.)
I play on the 3ds and feel like I'm practicing the moves of Seth so when I get a copy on a home console I can take on e.ryu and oni (I already took on akuma and gouken already)
If only arcade mode from sf6 could be like this. Having JP as universal final boss and having Bison, akuma, probably rugal and onaga too. That will be cool
Basically don't loose any rounds for a secret boss. Harder ones also require things like get "first hit 5 times", "get two perfects", "finish 5 fights with a super or ultra attack" ect.
Because the computer stipulates which difficulty level you need to be on & what you need to do within the match to achieve the goal & if you stuff up then you don't get the objective you were wanting which was usually a fight against Akuma/Gouki
@@Lyn-gu5eu Go into practice mode & get the computer to show you which moves you need to use in the objectives to unlocking the additional content then practice the move until the can nail it almost every time & then move onto the next move in the combo that the computer wants you to complete as part of the objective learn 1 move at a time rather than multiple moves this way you'll avoid any confusion & also try to learn the frame rates of both the fighter you're using as well as that of the computer opponent it may take a few tries but you should get the right results sooner or later
@@Kdawg4859 Try playing it on an actual arcade machine you'll find there's a BIG difference between the speeds of the moves there's also no practice mode you stuff up & that's it game over no more chances.........until you press the start button all over again
I don't Check It i can unlock Akuma and Gouken but no one anymore also i do two perfekt and two Ultra and i unlock Akuma an Gouken three Ultra and one Perfekt

Play shin evil ryu on the hardest he’s the hardest to beat just cuz he’s broking and does moves that a human player can’t do and that raging demon is so over powered

Isn’t oni a manifestation of Shin akuma in the same vain as how Kage is a manifestation of evil ryu being separated from Ryu?
Oni is Akuma if the Satsui no Haou consumed him entirely.
He is weaker than Shin Akuma, Shin Akuma is Akuma whit the Satsui No Hado completely mastered, Oni is him indulging in darkness.

I like Oni's theme, but I personally wish it used Killing Moon as a leitmotif instead of Akuma's SF2 theme.

I did everything I could to fight Gouken, I don’t know what I’m missing, I read the description, I’m stumped, I did what it said
To make things quicker, try the 1 round setting get 5 first attacks, 3 supers/ultra finishes, 1 perfect and lose no rounds see if that works.

Super SF4 Arcade Edition or Ultra SF4. Ultra has the most characters.
