Ted Williams created a chart that breaks down the science behind the perfect hit in his book, "The Science of Hitting." The new documentary from THIRTEEN’s American Masters, co-produced by Albert M. Tapper Productions, in association with Major League Baseball, David Ortiz’ Big Papi Productions and Nick Davis Productions, explores not only the Baseball Hall of Famer’s remarkable on-field accomplishments but also his complicated relationships with his family, teammates, press, fans and himself. American Masters - Ted Williams: “The Greatest Hitter Who Ever Lived” premieres Monday, July 23 at 9 p.m. on PBS (check local listings) in honor of Williams’ centennial (August 30, 1918 - July 5, 2002), and marks the first baseball subject in the series’ 32-year history. The film will be available to stream the following day via pbs.org/americanmasters and PBS apps.

Priceless
Ted would hated the trolly vein BS UA-cam, but, he would've loved the instructional/constructive/exploration UA-cam. Imagine him talk hitting, fishing, piloting, everything. I think if he was here today he'd be even more beloved.
He lived in a time where if you werent friendly to the media, they'd whitewash your life, basically. Not that it doesn't happen today, its just that he'd have a platform to explain himself. I think his wisdom should've been explored more and wouldve helped more people.
My college coach Joe Hicks stressed hit hitting instruction and made me a better hitter
