Spelunky - Kirbywarp

"Kirbywarp" is a wrong warp glitch discovered in 2019 by the Spelunky player Kirby703 with the help of GC and ContraMuffin. Hired hand shenanigans are used to edit the level counter so that a strange glitchy world can be entered. I'm afraid I don't really understand how it works, but another player, BronxTaco, has also executed this glitch and has written a helpful step-by-step guide on how to do so with the help of Kirby703. Oh,i remember in an interview that there was the idea of having the first cave randomly flooded but it was scraped due to being glitchy,but looks like it's still in the game in a very weird way

Yes! I remember Andy Hull talking about that in the interview, he said "It's in the code, there like, y'know code bits and fragments of the flooded mines" it was scrapped because of time constraints mainly cause- yes it was indeed buggy and they needed to fine-tune the technical aspects.

apparently other levels you can warp to are all the same. overflowing causes a crash, this happens if you use a HH you get from a character coffin instead of a normal shop HH.

I have no idea! I suspect the warp is still possible, but probably there would be checks in place to prevent obscure level numbers on the leaderboard. I'm just guessing though!
