Thanks so much for checking out the Echoes update and providing such a in depth deep dive of all the gameplay mechanics! It's certainly been a journey through early Access so far, and we are excited to show the world everything we have to offer with 1.0 later this year!
@sir_snarf I’m having a hard time finding significant press and information on this game, but I hope you all gain momentum over the coming months, maybe an extended trailer showing the extent of the game…different biomes etc, because my initial concern, coming from games like world of Warcraft, warframe and Elden ring, was that there wouldn’t be enough content to keep me occupied for an extended amount of time. I think I don’t have to worry about that now that I’ve sunk my teeth into the game, but it does still feel very mobile game micro transaction loaded with the different vague upgrade materials. Gameplay wise tho, it’s a home run. A mix between League MOBA, Diablo ARPG, with almost a World of Warcraft quest and art style. I’m happy with it and I hope you all get enough interest to continue to expand on it with additional wayfinders and dlc. I’ll be here to buy any dlc you release. Good luck and thanks for a great low-stress game to pick up when elite deep archemedia pisses me off. :-)
Nice! I bought the game to aid the cause, but won’t download it until 1.0. I don’t usually “pre-purchase,” but it was only $22, def my kind of game, and wanted to do my tiny part in helping the devs through that big-time adversity. Always love your content, and thanks for this one!
first off, great video. very good one stop shop for game info for all new players. that said, there is more than just 1 "overworld area" that you mentioned. Yes, Highlands is one of them, but there is also another one called Frostmarch. There will also be more added 21 Oct 2024 when the game is in "full release". Hope this helps folks make the decision to join the game.
The game called "Pagan absent gods" is now an offline solo action RPG hack'n slash, but it used to be called "Pagan online" when it came out, and was an online game. The game was also not so well received as an online game, and the player base went down quickly, so the devs decided to shut down the servers, and changed it to a 100% offline game.
Thanks for the effort of creating the video, but some constructive feedback: 4 minutes up front of preamble that could be said in maybe 30 seconds is too much.
this game was never free to play since the game never released and you had to pay to get access, they didnt "break" away from DE, they got dropped because the game is HOT GARBAGE. im sad that this game stopped being an mmo. i payd my money on this game as a founder because it was an mmo and they lied to my face and i lost 250 bucks on this game. im FUMING. and i didnt get my money back so i will never buy a game from these devs again
I've also never seen a developer claiming a game being an online mmorpg, sold the copies then said they no longer provides servers (we cant afford them sorry!) and have to turn the game into a single-player/co-op game. Purely commercial scam. Airship will be forever banned from my game shopping list as the likes of BioWare.
This is not entirely true. The publisher dropped the game. The publisher was the source of the online service. Without the publisher there was no online game. The developers had to either let the game die or salvage what they could how they could.
@@isaachill1107 and how is breaking up with their publisher a problem of their consumers? Will you tell your boss sorry I can only work 3 days a week now but I need the same pay because I broke up with my gf/bf?
@@Dionysia1217 Clearly you didn't understand what I wrote. Maybe you don't understand how the system works. The publisher is above the developer. The publisher is the one that provides the developer the access to the live service portion of the game. If the publisher takes away access to the live service the developer no long has a live service game. it is not the developer's fault. At that point they had to decide, let the game die completely which meant the people who spent money 100% lost that money. OR salvage what they could and provide the best game they could so the consumers got at least something for their money.
@@isaachill1107 if they shut down the game they need to refund every Steam consumer which they pivoted to avoid. Again, they lost business relationship with their former publisher who also provide the servers and support, that’s their own problem in a business pov, players these days defending douchebag devs smh
@@Dionysia1217 Still you don't understand the publish took the money then the publisher pays the developer to continue developing. The developer can't give the money back because they never took the money. If you want to be mad at someone go be mad at the publisher.

Thank you! You guys have some serious dedication to get this 0.5 patch out to people, so I'm excited to see what else is in store. Also, gloom.

I bought it just to support the stellar business model they have. Turns out the combat and gameplay feel is buttery smooth. I’m a fan
25USD for this is the best value for money I can think of for a full price game.
Thanks for this, you’ve gotten me interested in the game again
Fantastic video! Thanks for this comprehensive look in at the changes
Thank you!
Really enjoyed your format and explanations of the game systems.
Nitpick- Airship Syndicate didn't break away from Digital Extremes, DE shut down their publishing division and dropped AS as a result. Great vid tho

There is a disappointingly small amount of videos and guides on this game. I hope it gains popularity.
Really appreciate this video. Thanks you

Have you revisited Septaroad Voyager? Game looks great, but it's a lil pricey to go in blind.
I should, I wonder how much has changed.
