As someone who spent over 100h hours in this game - I can safely say, that this game can be put out there near No Man's Sky when it comes to incredible comebacks. I really hope it will get the spotlight, it really deserves it.

So I bought this game a few days ago and have been following the online discourse ever since. Up until today there wasn’t even any current videos on YT about the release. It made me worry that it was going to fly under the radar and I considered trying to even make one myself!! lol. Because this game deserves it. SO HAPPY TO SEE ALL THE COMMENTS AND PEOPLE ON HERE SAYING THEY BOUGHT IT OR WILL BUY IT!! 😊 I TRULY believe that you WONT regret it!! Keep in mind, the game isn’t perfect but it is a ton of fun so far. For the price it’s more than worth it. If enough people support it, it is pretty much GUARANTEED that they will continue supporting it and will take into account all of the feedback they’re going to get, to make the game GREATER THAN EVER!!! Let’s go Wayfinder: Echoes!!!
The revamp is killer. I didn't need another Live service game to drive FOMO, and the gameplay + art alone make this such an easy buy for $25. Play it!!!!
Great game, played EA and now full release, already 40 hours into the game since 1.0 Totalling 140 hours, just entered the second zone Frostmarch, with the Crucible map still undiscovered too. Incredible high quality game with alot of puzzles, something to find in every corner whether its a secret chest, secret pets and more. Love it.
Ive put in alot of time into and love it. The grind feels like Phantasy star online for game cube. Also really enjoy the stat layout and how you build your character and how two people can run the same character and they can feel different based on factors like weapn choice, rush echoes, and stats. Amazing game!
He never spoke about the style tab.. every bit of equipment you get can be mix and matched in the style tab if you just want to keep a look. Also you can fully customize the colors
Thanks for this video! I don't remember even hearing about Wayfinder until the 1.0 update came out. I have been really interested in picking this up the last couple of weeks, but I think you tipped the scales and I'm going to go ahead and pull the trigger.
Someone recommended this game to me and im glad they did. Its a great game all around, it was finished a bit too quick and you can tell... but for what you get its alot of fun and well made. They have a 2024 roadmap which gives the fanbase hope, further support is dependant on purchases and our support. Give the game a try, its worth it. The value for the price is awesome, and no pathetic payment systems to harass you. Its a breathe of fresh gaming air
I just recently picked up this game and loving it, didn't know at first it was MMO after 20 hour into the game but then the dev turn things around. Best comeback they ever made and hopefully soon they release a roadmap and would gladly pay for the expansion.
played it for about 5 hours, definitely into it so I'm buying it tomorrow. I have some concerns regarding loot diversity and endgame, but thus far it's definitely worth the purchase.
Its kinda crazy we dont hear enough hype from going live service, MTX, "p2w" stuff to a buy to play game and you aquire everything by just playing. Looking how crazy the market is becoming with like Throne And Liberty where you literly can spend real money to buy gear from an auction house to get best loot. Installed wayfinder again and kinda happy to try 1.0 out.
A friend of mine talked me into getting this yesterday. I can’t put the game down. I just got 1 character to 30 and now I’m going to start leveling up Venomess. I’m really digging the game and I hope the Dev’s keep on adding to this game.
Just a tip for imbuements - they also add certain accessory sets to the loot table and can be used to force spawn an event that grants you specific materials(like phoenixes or loot goblins). And of course there's the spectra that you need for awakening.
I really hope this game is a success because it'll send a message to developers and investorts that gamers don't want live-service games with microtransactions. We want fair priced titles with good content to justify the hours of fun we sink in. Frankly I think that Wayfinder failing as a F2P MMO and rising from the ashes as a fully fledged retail title was the best thing that ever happened to it.
Just bought it! I knew Wayfinder was a thing but i never went out of my way to see what it really is. Now that i know it was supposed to be a online game but turned SOLO or COOP, it piqued my interest. There is a reason i don't play MMOs anymore even though i used to love them, because i am so tired of FOMO, of mechanics that are built to only waste your time, to force you into buying some currency etc, which is a shame, because some online games truly have fun gameplay, some fun mechanics, but it gets so bad due to all the online stuff. And this games seems that i can enjoy a MMO like experience offline, which is a dream coming true.
Bought the game today to try it out and rest abit on Elders scrolls online. Have to admit that wayfinder has potential and It's a fun game. New game for me to spend sometime to grind.
You did a great job explaining the many in game systems. Airship Syndicate needs to build this into the game, provide a more robust explanation of the systems they have created and how they work. It would be shame if players walked before they truly understood how to build a character. I enjoy this game and hope that AS stays with it.
I played it when they were doing test run for live service and it felt bad because servers kinda sucked. But i have seen potential of possible fun game and now im happy to see that they finished as standalone game that can be enjoyed like borderlands. Mechanics even at then felt good, but it sure didnt felt good as live service game back then.
My body is ready for the breath of fresh air brought to us by the Airship devs ❤ The game is bleeding with passion and inspiration. Looking forward to getting some solid mileage out of the 1.0 release. Shut up and take more of my money!!
