Many thanks Tim, they do have a fine selection of old carriages and the line is very scenic, quite enjoyable racing the train up to Annot and then a well deserved lunch before the return
Thanks very much, I think the viaduct is everyones favourite being so spectacular. Glad you enjoyed your break in Wales, despite the weather
Magnifique, magnifique et encore ....
Thanks Barry, it made a pleasant change to film with the sun on my back after this dismal British summer
A wonderful old loco Austin, loved the way it was swaying from side to side...all coupled with beautiful lighting and stunning scenery to make a very enjoyable production...Bob
Cheers Steve, had a great time and its always nice to do this trip up into the hills for a little shot of steam
Excellent Austin. Lovely little line in spectacular scenery. Like Phil says, a superb viaduct shot. I like the open verandah style coaches too. All the best....Tim.
Thank you, glad you enjoyed the video, the line is very scenic and its always a pleasure to film there. I'm slowly working my way through videos posted while we were away so I'll get around to yours very soon.
Thanks very much, glad you enjoyed it
Thanks Bob, it's a very powerful loco and it would be great to see her with a decent load to provide more of a test. I think we saw more sunshine these last two weeks than we have seen all year!
Fabulous! Many thanks indeed.
Magic Austin , back to what you do best in such stunning scenery with steam to boot . Hope you had a great holiday . Steve
Sympa. Bien filmé. Merci de cette belle vidéo.
Merci. Je suis content que vous ayez apprécié la vidéo
Merci Phil and I'm sorry we couldn't bring back some sunshine. We had a great time and fully recharged the batteries after a difficult year
Thanks John, it was a great day, the loco is probably too powerful for the size of the train so doesn't really have to work too hard but it's a very impressive machine without a doubt
Thanks Alan, hard work but well worth it for the luncheon stop in Annot! We know a nice restaurant there and can get in well before all the passengers off the train arrive
A fine film Austin. A fantastic engine and railway and such wonderful scenery. Barry
Most enjoyable video Austin, liked the viaduct shot the most. We had a few days in Wales but the weather was no where near as good at it was in your video.
Many thanks for your kind comment Dave
Brilliant video like the way you blended in the musicians with the train. There is some beautiful country side Videoed at some lovely location .well done Thanks for posting (C&A) Have you seem our latest 2 videos
Merci beaucoup pour vos aimables commentaires. Je suis heureux que vous avez apprécié la vidéo
Brilliant Austin. You put in some hard work there! I had just 2 hours on the Stars Railway in Holland. no time for a ride, but loads going on - it was a steam gala!
Thanks, yes she was built for the Portugese and was returned to service by the volunteers in 2010. I assume the viaducts are, as you say, for water run off as both road and railway could be flooded otherwise.
Très belle vidéo, belle locomotive dans un cadre magnifique !!
Thanks Mike, yes batteries fully recharged now after the break. We are at the SVR Saturday & Sunday
Cracking footage Austin. most enjoyable. That's a super clip at 8.00 over the viaduct
Hope the break did you both good. SVR this weekend ?
Mike
Many a good meal (and wine!) was enjoyed I admit, the train was a bonus
Lovely Portugues engine! Hope to see one day one of these locomotive: one is in Provence, one in Basque Country, one in Switzerland... all working more than the only one remained in Portugal
Lovely machine. Ex Portuguese, is it? That's a radical new DMU they have. What are those viaducts for at 5:05 etc? Water runoff?
