Haha. It definitely helps. BUT I always tell guys there was a rider named Jamie Lanza that was 5'4" He raced Endurocross and I was NEVER anywhere near his speed! I'm 6'2". Its not about your height, its the work you put into your technique!
I just finished my backyard trials bike practice. Bam! new video, going right back out for more. Thanks for these great lessons. Oh yea, just put a set of IRCs on the CRF 230.
Thank you so much for all your info , it all makes so much sense now ,I no were I'm going wrong now,I changed my beta 300 suspension springs back and front for a harder set up as I'm 18 stone and the bike came from factory with a set up for a 12 stone rider as suspension was bottoming out on a fast motocross track, now when I ride my bike in the woods and along the old river beds my bike is all over the place and when I try to compression the front end to jump over logs I end up on the floor lol, I see from this video you have about 5 inches of travel while standing still were I only have 2 inches with the harder springs, keep up the great work you do and I wish we could get your make IRC gummy tyres in the UK, cheers
I'm gonna have to use the front brake to move the rear over wheel over technique next time out. That looks helpful in those tight turn to uphill obstacles
Thank you so much for these AMAZING video's!! I'm about to purchase a KTM 500 XCF-W. What tires would you recommend for trail riding in the desert? I live in Yuma, AZ. I won't be doing as aggressive riding as seen in this video.. Haha.. Keep up the GREAT work! 👍👍
Thanks for watching!! Stoked on your new ride!! A great well rounded rear desert tire is our VE33 regular compound. Don't get the soft Gekkota compound "VE33S" because your 501 has a lot of power! For the front try the ve35. Those should work great!! Ride Safe!
@@IRCTireUSAMoto Thank you sir! If you guy's ever venture down here to Arizona, let me know! I'd love to get out and do some exploring of the back country
whats with that Rekluse clutch cover on your KTM?? Are you now running a Rekluse on this bike, or just wanted the extra oil capacity and are using a Rekluse clutch pack
Your technical skills are very impressive Rich! 👏 And such a talented speaker. Continue with the good stuff you post here. Btw, did you ever revalved your KYB suspension on the sherco, or was it more or less stock?
That would be great if I could just touch flat footed still like a kid jumping around n his dads bike lol. One day will set it up 350 sx f 2916 but most definitely need to get the wheelie down.
Great video keep up the good work, I notice you have caught a bad case of the orange plague have you seen a doctor about this? Haha I have the perfect cure in blue yz250fx would love to see you on a good bike 😁👍👍👍👍

@@IRCTireUSAMoto I agree but you have to admit that at 6'2'' things are a bit easier.

great video thanks! I saw you are 6'2", what"s your weight?
I like to weigh around 170-175 when I'm 100% in race shape. Im probably near 180 right now. Thanksgiving really does a number on you.
Holy shit, Chris Horner up in IRC Moto house!? So rad!!
whats with that Rekluse clutch cover on your KTM?? Are you now running a Rekluse on this bike, or just wanted the extra oil capacity and are using a Rekluse clutch pack
The cover is for extra oil and extra strength. No auto clutches for me.. EVER!
So helpful
