Wow, I've been trying to learn on an electric. Has a really sweet sound, when someone else plays it. I tend to hit more string than needed. I picked up a cheap acoustic guitar & talk about easier-er. I've got plenty of time to do this now & I'm not giving up. I've owns some really expensive guitars & they only looked good, because I couldn't play them. I'm making better progress on this cheap amazon guitar. Just needed to badly change the cheap strings. Yippee-Yi-Ay... Cow Patty!

Hey in this video u used 2 strings to play the c chord Werin in another video of Eleanor Rigby song u used 3 fingers which includes the 5th string as well for the c cord .. Can u plz clear my doubt.

As a result of your video, I realized that 2-finger chords are the best for me as I learn. I was trying the 3-finger chords and my hand was like "what are you doing to me"? No other teacher I've seen on here gives sufficient time to go over and over new chords to learn. It is only by being shown in detail many times, that I can absorb them and remember. Other teachers seem to rush it and expect us to play and change chords in super quick time, which simply isn't realistic as a beginner! That is precisely why Lauren is the very best teacher and I am making good progress so far! 😊😊😊😊
So glad I stumbled across this trying to find someon teaching this two finger chords to get the dexterity down and muscle memory I’ve never been able to because I’m so musically challenged starting in three finger chords is hard especially for soft virgin finger tips…

Hi Roger, I have a student currently that is missing fingers. He switched hands. He is a righty but he plays lefty to adjust for missing fingers.

Yes, there's multiple ways to play a C chord. The 2 finger version is easier for beginners.

Royan, yes these are 'easy' beginner forms of the full chords. It's a great way to get started that's much easier than 3 fingers.
