Do you two have jobs? Yes! We both have full time careers. Brian is a Software Engineer and Kerry is a Graphic Designer.
Is this vlog a paid promotion with the cruise line? No, we have never worked with a cruise line before (I doubt they even know who we are 😂). If that ever changes, we will be sure to let you know in the video.
What are those black pouches around your neck? We use the lanyards to carry some camera equipment, but many cruisers like to wear lanyards to hold their room key card.
What camera do you use? We typically use the DJI Pocket II, however, when we are in the water we use the Go Pro Hero 9, and in Alaska we occasionally used the Nikon P1000 for wildlife shots. What is a GUSS? GUSS is our name for a Towel Animal! It is a childhood memory for Brian that has lived on for years. You can see the home video moment where GUSS was born in Adventure of the Seas Day 6 (We Made the News) and Allure of the Seas Day 3 (Sea Day).
Is that one thing you said serious? Almost certainly not. If you’re new to the channel, we have really dry, sarcastic senses of humor. So if you’re questioning if it’s sarcasm - it probably is.
How do I ask a dinner time question? Leave a comment on any video and let us know it’s supposed to be answered at dinner time. We’re always looking for new questions (even if the next cruise we can answer it on is a long long way out).
Is it really pronounced CoCo “Key”? Royal Caribbean has said itself that it is pronounced “Key” in a FAQ of their own here: creative.rccl.com/Sales/Royal.... To each their own on this pronunciation!
When and how did you meet? We met in February of 2020 via a dating app. We answer this question in more detail in our Independence of the Seas Day 2 (Swimming with Pigs) video.

Royal Caribbean should give you guys some kickback. I only tried the Coco Cay snack, shack, chicken sandwich, because you all were raving about it so so much. And I have to agree, it completely lived up to the hype!!!!

We have told you before how much we love your channel. We have RCCL in common for sure. We met you on the Icon. Next time at Coco Cay, (I have 3 trips scheduled) I plan to get a picture with the chair/palm/ship background in honor of your Mom. My wife and I loved your Saboros meal so much we took off for the local Mexican restaurant (pre Mother's Day outing). I like the Allure. It was out first Oasis class ships. I wish they would not put the slides on it. (Not that I don't like the slides). I just think it would be nice to keep an Oasis class ship original. We leaned that our diamond works a Johnny Rockets on Wonder this past February. Know the feeling about canceled on the island. Have booked ballon ride 3 times, rain winds, and winds. Going to try again in next cruise. I wish you both all the best. You two are a Beautiful Couple.

0:56 Hahhaha I felt the same way on the oasis. I was on an eight night cruise and I ended up living off the panini style breakfast ones. So so good. Make sure you have them rewarm it. They’re different every morning. Excited to do the same on symphony next year for Halloween

Dinner time question: why do you prefer ships that have an actual Starbucks versus a proudly serving? My wife made out like crazy on Anthem and the refreshment package getting her specialty coffee at the proudly serving area in the Royal Esplanade. Btw, love your guys’s videos.

I think the only safe thing any of us can do, that have their magnets, is put them on the inside of our doors, and enjoy them in our own cabins. That’s what my wife and I are talking about doing on our upcoming two cruises later this year.

I went on my first cruise on April 8th and someone also moved our magnets around to other doors. They took my Gus magnet which was my favorite of the bunch and I was pretty devastated! 😓😓 Is there any way I can purchase just the one Gus or maybe a sheet of just the Guses so I can have replacements? I would totally purchase another set just for another Gus but I would be afraid to put him on my door.
