Do you two have jobs? Yes! We both have full time careers. Brian is a Software Engineer and Kerry is a Graphic Designer.
Is this vlog a paid promotion with the cruise line? No, we have never worked with a cruise line before (I doubt they even know who we are 😂). If that ever changes, we will be sure to let you know in the video.
What are those black pouches around your neck? We use the lanyards to carry some camera equipment, but many cruisers like to wear lanyards to hold their room key card.
What camera do you use? We typically use the DJI Pocket II, however, when we are in the water we use the Go Pro Hero 9, and in Alaska we occasionally used the Nikon P1000 for wildlife shots. What is a GUSS? GUSS is our name for a Towel Animal! It is a childhood memory for Brian that has lived on for years. You can see the home video moment where GUSS was born in Adventure of the Seas Day 6 (We Made the News) and Allure of the Seas Day 3 (Sea Day).
Is that one thing you said serious? Almost certainly not. If you’re new to the channel, we have really dry, sarcastic senses of humor. So if you’re questioning if it’s sarcasm - it probably is.
How do I ask a dinner time question? Leave a comment on any video and let us know it’s supposed to be answered at dinner time. We’re always looking for new questions (even if the next cruise we can answer it on is a long long way out).
Is it really pronounced CoCo “Key”? Royal Caribbean has said itself that it is pronounced “Key” in a FAQ of their own here: creative.rccl.com/Sales/Royal.... To each their own on this pronunciation!
When and how did you meet? We met in February of 2020 via a dating app. We answer this question in more detail in our Independence of the Seas Day 2 (Swimming with Pigs) video.

We actually boarded a cruise starting on Easter Sunday (the NCL Bliss from Los Angeles to Vancouver) and there were just TONS of Easter candy ALL over the place around the ship…really High quality stuff, too

I think people hate Nassau more than it deserves. It's really not bad, and I'm not talking about the new port, which feels lifeless and sanitized to me.

They hold concerts and events at the amphitheater there. Like if a chartered cruise stops there they’ll have a performance there if you were wondering.

Hello. Today, we are on Jewel of the Seas A sea day between Dover England and Inverness Scotland.
They have concerts that the amphitheater, I think regularly. I’ve been at port a couple times over the past year and heard a concert happening as our ship was leaving!

So funny, we were there 3 weeks ago, and we liked it. Which I guess was a couple weeks after you went.
Say hello to my bartender friend Dinkar if you see him on the ship! He’s mostly in the main dining room but sometimes is in Boleros and in the casino bar as well! Been on 3 different ships with him!
We also visited Margaritaville in January with a day pass and were told the infinity pool was only for guests staying at the resort. The “water park” was fun for a couple hours and better than most Nassau options, but still overpriced for what it is.

Margaritaville is not bad at all ! Was there with the family this past February ! You can’t beat the price and how close it is to the port !

It seems like port stops are getting shorter and shorter. Why on earth would sail away be at 2:30 in the afternoon? Cruise lines are so greedy for passenger money, soon they'll stop letting people off the ship at all.
I think it has to do more with getting back to Florida on a certain schedule. They said this was their last stop on this cruise and then showed the map of the cruise track. He said the speed of 22 knots, and that it was near its maximum speed. So, I don't think they could've stayed any longer there in port. But yes, I think some of the times we are in certain ports are a joke. The one time we were in San Juan from like 2pm to 11pm. Like people are going to get off for an hour before dinner, come back on the ship for dinner, and then go back into San Juan for a couple hours at night... Like yea, okay. Haha!
Great dinner time question although for some reason I’m hungry. Just ate at chops on Anthem after Easter 2024 and the bacon app looked nothing like that. It was yummy though. We did a boat tour around Nassau so we could pick out our future beach mansion. The land tour after was lame so skip that.

I think everything associated with "Margaritaville" is over-rated & rundown (their cruise line included!)
The place probably wasn't crowded at all, due to the fact that it was so bad.
The guy giving you the wristbands knew you by your name, probably because you were his only guests for the past week!!! 🙃
