when the son in the second case said he came to the realization that “my presence on this earth had a negative impact on someone’s life” that made me so sad to hear that he felt like that. he’s so well spoken and seems like such a good person. i hope he no longer feels like that n i hope he’s doing well!

That second case is truly heartbreaking
The mom stumbled over her words constantly and sought sympathy I knew she didn't deserve.
Her son is Amazing and his reaction broke my heart. She has to tell the truth!
Lastly, that man stood house ground the entire time and his life was changed and now he gets to reclaim it. He can sue for repayment but it doesn't change the fact he was imprisoned for it.

That mother deserves to be put in jail that same amounts of time and should have to pay back the money! I believe that man and im sorry might sound crazy but that woman look like a painted scraper she dress nice like that scamming he way to the top and for her son to apologize he knows his mama is Conniving in vindictive and will say anything and everything to make people believe her people like that make me sick!

That last grandmother; what a sweetheart “I’d be disappointed but it wouldn’t change a thing”. That is so beautiful and kind of her. You can see how much peace that brought that baby’s mother. You can tell his baby mom LOVES his mother as her child’s grandmother. That’s rare and amazing
Everytime it showed the twins in that first case, made me want to cry out of empathy for them, how precious they are, they deserve better!
Fortunately and unfortunately, no one can choose their parents. For these twins, unfortunately, they got a bad mom.

That 2nd case is absolutely ridiculous. My heart goes out to the son and man who lost everything. The son has a lot of emotional intelligence. He shouldn’t have to apologize on his moms behalf. He still had the heart to comfort his mom even though she should be the one apologizing and comforting him!

My God, second episode, Miss Wallace is straight up evil. Not only did she ruin Mr Conner’s life by pinning a baby on him for child support, she ruined her own son’s life by depriving him of his father - a father he has a right to know. She is a selfish narcissist, it was never about her son it was always about her. Mr Conner went to prison for this, but the shameless mother will get away without accountability, and why? Because she’s a woman.
Miss Wallace needs to spend time in jail for her crimes. What a shameless, evil woman. Straight up evil. Didn’t even have the decency to apologise to Mr Conner, her son apologised on his behalf when it wasn’t even his fault. Send her to prison.
It’s so messed up how women want equality in pay and this or that but won’t take accountability for this type of bs when a man’s life is ruined nobody cares, and the law favors the person who cause all of this. The law needs to be updated to ensure men also get treated fairly and in this particular case she need to spend time in jail and repay him for all the child support she stole + damages of all the stuff he lost because of her but I bet she walks free with non even a citation shame on her and the laws that aren’t equal when it comes to men/fathers

Story #1: She knew and he was hurt. He was attached. Story #2: She knew. I feel sorry for both the alleged father and my heart hurts for the young man. Sadly she doesn't seem to realize the truth is the best way to show love to a son she loves so much. Story #3: He got on my nerves. That baby is his clone. He is insecure. She needs to really understand what she wants to marry.

The second case is so sad, both Jeffrey and Mr Conner are good people, and you can tell they care about each other. And Jeffrey is the most well mannered and good hearted young man ive seen on this show. He apologized even when he didnt do wrong, even when his mother wasnt willing to. My son's dad denied that he the father. I didn't put him on the birth certificate. My son looks exactly like his father. I have never charged him for child support. It was my choice to keep my baby. His father didn't want kids, so I told him that it was my child and kept him out of our lives. He now has a relationship with his father.
Mandatory DNA testing at birth will solve and prevent these problems 😊

Men could just refuse to be tested and get out of paying if that's how it worked. No one can physically force them to consent to a DNA test.

I am sitting here sobbing. My heart is broken for that young man. His mother should be ashamed of herself. She sat there shaking her head yes as if she agreed with the results. This system is broken. The woman has too much control over the child and the father. Clearly, this woman was an accomplished liar and did it very well. She needs to pay all the money back and she needs to do jail time to dissuade other lying conniving women for doing the same.

He didn't show up to the initial date. So it was in her favor. He could've showed up & requested a DNA test. Some guys like to just ignore child support instead of show up & get a DNA test. Once you skip that DNA test & a few years go by & you find out the kid's not yours, you unfortunately STILL have to pay child support
@@TriniGyall30 oh I know. I’m a paralegal. I know the system. Most of this falls on him. He’s responsible for his actions. He knew. He should have been diligent in proving paternity. Instead ignored it. However, for me as a judge, I just couldn’t keep a man in jail for that long without DNA. I’d place him in jail until paternity is established and STILL make him pay that child support for not showing up. But after that it should have been done.
@@ImYourVj Yes definitely should've. I guess in different states they make you pay yourself or maybe back then. I know where I live (Ma) currently it's free & REQUIRED if the man didn't sign the birth certificate. So they at least have things in place to prevent it now upfront.

@@TriniGyall30 A lot of the men oh here say they moved a lot when younger and never received the notices, so they could not appear as they did not know about it. So sorry for them. especially this one as she knew she was pregnant and thought he had money and he did not. She should pay him back all the money, as he said she is a criminal.

In the second case, the MOther KNEW that man was NOT the father. Look at her expressions. She didn't look shocked nor surprised after the Judge read the results of that diagnostic test. She needs to be sued so Jewett can get "SOME" of his money back. In the meantime I hope Jeffrey gets the help he needs in finding his real father. The mother needs to be honest on who his father really is. She's KNOWS who she laid around with.
Probably the father is her uncle her cousin someone in her family or maybe she was prostituting and that's how she got pregnant and didn't want her son to know

I have never seen Judge Lake so angry before as she was in case#1. I felt sorry for those beautiful twins.

He was changing the lock on the guy/killer's girlfriend door. She was a mutual friend of them both. The guy shot him dead. As my "Good Ex" used to say "No good deed shall go unpunished". Very sad he seemed like one of the good guys. But he metaphorically live's on indefinitely as long as people continue to remember him.
